Sukuna's lips curled into a derisive smile as he observed the barrier. "A domain without any curse technique imbued in it?" the cursed spirit mused, his deep voice dripping with condescension. "Let me show you what a true domain looks like, brat."
Kamo's eyes widened as Sukuna's words registered in his mind. Panicked, the young sorcerer knew he had to act fast before the cursed spirit unleashed his full power.
Sukuna's eyes narrowed as he observed Kamo's desperate gambit. The cursed spirit raised his hands, making the Enma Ten-In. hand sign.
"Stand proud, Kamo," Sukuna said, his voice dripping with condescension. "You lost to the strongest."
The air around him crackled with an oppressive aura as Sukuna began the incantation for his Domain Expansion. "Domain Expansion: Malevol—"
But before he could complete the chant, Sukuna suddenly found himself gasping for breath, his lungs constricted as if an invisible force was stealing the oxygen from them. His vision grew hazy, and his mind felt clouded, the words of his technique slipping from his lips.
Kamo watched with a mixture of ego and triumph as the mighty Sukuna, the King of Curses, was rendered powerless.
Sukuna struggled to maintain his composure, his body swaying as the lack of oxygen took its toll. His eyes narrowed, and he glared at Kamo with a mix of fury and disbelief.
"What... have you done?" Sukuna rasped, his voice barely above a whisper.
Kamo's lips curled into a smirk, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten as he savored this small victory. "You may be the King of Curses, but even you can't escape the laws of physics," he replied, his voice laced with a hint of smugness.
Within the confines of the simple domain, Kamo had targeted the air around Sukuna and superheated it causing all the breathable air to be pushed away, the pressure sucking out the air he had from his lungs.
Sukuna's vision continued to blur, and his mind grew increasingly foggy as the lack of air assaulted his senses. He tried to focus, to summon the strength to break free, but his body betrayed him, his movements sluggish and uncoordinated.
Kamo watched, his eyes narrowed, as Sukuna's proud posture slowly crumbled, the cursed spirit succumbing to the lack of oxygen. With each passing moment, the mighty Ryomen Sukuna grew weaker, his movements sluggish and uncoordinated.
Seizing the opportunity, Kamo pushed himself off the ground, ignoring the protests of his battered body. He staggered towards the faltering Sukuna, his expression a mix of triumph and disdain.
"The only reason you were hailed as the strongest is because I wasn't born in that era," Kamo said, his voice lacking any emotion shamelessly stealing from his sensei.
With those words, Kamo drew back his fist and delivered a powerful punch directly to Sukuna's face. The force of the blow was enough to send the cursed spirit reeling, his body crumpling to the ground as consciousness abandoned him.
As Sukuna's form collapsed, a curious transformation began to take place. Kamo watched in silence as the regal, intimidating features of the King of Curses melted away, revealing the familiar face of Yuji Itadori.
Itadori lay motionless, his breathing shallow and his expression peaceful, all traces of Sukuna's malevolent presence gone. Kamo stared at the young man, his mind reeling from the sudden turn of events.
Kamo stood over the unconscious form of Yuji Itadori, his brow furrowed in contemplation. "I still can't fully use this move, huh?" he muttered, his voice tinged with a hint of frustration. "Thankfully, Sukuna or Yuji didn't die because of this."
What the young sorcerer didn't know was that his technique, while only weakening Sukuna, would have been deadly for any other human. By superheating the air within the barrier, Kamo had effectively deprived Sukuna of oxygen, causing the cursed spirit to be on the brink of losing consciousness.
However, anyone without RCT, would have had their lungs collapse under the sudden lack of oxygen. Sukuna, The King of Curses, had instinctively used his RCT to sustain himself, preventing the fatal outcome.
Kamo weaved a heavy sigh of relief, realizing the battle was finally over. He had managed to drag himself out of this shitshow alive.
The young sorcerer felt a palpable sense of tension leave his body as the adrenaline wore off, replaced by a wave of exhaustion from the intense confrontation.
Steeling himself, Kamo bent down and gently lifted Yuji's unconscious form, slinging the young man's arm over his shoulder. He knew he needed to find Megumi, to regroup and assess the situation.
As Kamo made his way through the debris-strewn landscape, his mind raced with questions. How had he managed to summon the phoenix, a mythical creature of legend? And what did this newfound power mean for his future?
Pushing these thoughts aside for now, Kamo focused on the task at hand. He needed to find his teammates and ensure their safety, while also keeping a watchful eye on the still-unconscious Yuji Itadori.
The young sorcerer's steps were heavy, his body still recovering from the intense battle, but his determination fueled him forward. He couldn't afford to let his guard down, not when the fate of the detention center and its trapped inmates still hung in the balance.
Kamo scanned the area, searching for any sign of Megumi or the others. He knew they must be nearby, and he couldn't shake the feeling that they were in danger. The thought of his comrades being overwhelmed by the cursed spirit's power spurred him on, his pace quickening despite his fatigue.
As he navigated the rubble-strewn streets, Kamo couldn't help but wonder about the nature of the phoenix he had encountered. It seemed to be significantly different from the information he had previously studied in those tablets, conveniently forgetting about the death of Nobara.
A.N.- the author is definitely not being a lazy ass here.
