Vs Two Bosses!

"Get out of the way! Make way for Luffy!"

Hancock roared as she kicked every monster that blocked their path.

"Hancock, aren't you tiring yourself out?"

"Don't worry, Luffy!"

Some monkeys with razor-sharp claws sprung at Hancock. She looked at them and gust flew past them. The monkeys fell unconscious before reaching her.

"If I'm feeling tired, I'll just knock them out with Haki."

'This is my chance to show Luffy my good side.'

She clenched her fist with burning eyes.

'I'll protect him and let him preserve his energy! So when he finally beats all the monsters, he'll feel grateful for my efforts! He might even give me another k-kiss!'

"Knock them out huh? That's a good idea."

"Huh?"

Hancock turned to Luffy who was looking around.

"About a couple thousand..."

He grinned.

"A piece of cake!

"Wait—"

A powerful gust spread through the area and shook everything around them. After a few moments of silence sounds of things hitting the ground resound around them.

"Ah....."

Hancock froze with her eyes widened and her mouth opened.

"Why?"

She fell to her knees dejected.

"What's wrong? It was your idea."

Luffy looked at Hancock, who was fighting back the tears, with a confused expression.

"?!"

Luffy suddenly looked up. Hancock sprung to her feet and did the same.

"Something's coming!"

A shadow cast over the two of them. A giant two-headed bird with a reptilian face appeared above them.

"It's Boss A!"

Luffy shouted. Hancock stood back to back with Luffy.

"There's another one."

The sounds of trees breaking echoed as something made its way toward them. What came out of the forest was a golden serpentine monster standing on two legs and had a pair of terrifying claws.

"That's the River Boss! It came out of the water?! It had legs?!"

Luffy was shocked out of his mind.

(Two of the island's top guns? Were they attracted by Luffy's Conquer's Haki?)

Hancock took a fighting stance.

"Luffy it will dangerous if these two coordinate and fight us. As such, as I suggest-"

"Hancock, I'll leave the River Boss to you! I'll handle Boss A!"

Hancock smiled.

"Roger!"

Luffy immediately entered Gear Second and jumped into the air.

"Don't get hurt, Hancock!"

He landed on top of a tree and faced off against Boss A.

"Yo, Boss A. Do you remember me? You once picked me up, flew up high into the air, and dropped me. You were trying to kill me and eat me after, but it didn't work."

Luffy pulled his fist back.

"Because I'm made of rubber."

Meanwhile, Hancock faced the River Boss.

"I'm actually grateful for you, Monster. It's because of you Luffy held me so intimately when I was vulnerable. However, you're trying to hurt Luffy."

She slowly lifted her leg.

"And that is unforgivable."

River Boss charged at Hancock. Boss A dove at Luffy. Hancock and Luffy leaped into the air and shouted—

"We're gonna take you down!"

Luffy fired a Jet Pistol. Hancock threw a kick. Boss A evaded Luffy's punch and sped up. River Boss threw itself at Hancock's kick. Boss A hit Luffy with its beak. Hancock's kick was canceled out by a headbutt.

"You're as strong as I hoped!"

Luffy grinned. He blocked the beak with haki-coated arms. Boss A peck at him with its other head. Luffy moved back and then accelerated.

"Jet Stomp!"

He kicked one of the heads and forced the monster back. Meanwhile, Hancock leaped back to evade River Boss' claws.

"?!"

She lifted her arms to block a tail whip. The force moved her to the side. River Boss thrust its head at her. Hancock retreated with quick steps.

'This thing has incredible reach with its elongated limbs.'

"Still..."

She rushed at the monster.

"I have nothing to fear!"

She jumped over a tail whip. The monster thrust its claws at her. She twisted her body to narrowly avoid them before hitting River Boss with a kick. It was forced to the side.

"....Despite its slender build, it's rather hard.

The monster shook its body and started walking towards Hancock.

"Its defenses seem superior to that rude turtle earlier."

At the same time, Luffy and Boss A were having a high-speed battle. Luffy ran on top of trees frying attacks. Boss A maneuvered around them and dove at Luffy. Luffy jumped above him.

"Jet Stomp!"

The monster evaded and flew at Luffy. It rammed into him and forced him into the air.

"Crap! I'm in his territory now!"

Boss A flew at Luffy screeching. Luffy twisted his body to avoid its charge but was unsuccessful. Boss A pecked Luffy, circled back, and pecked him again. Luffy was caught in a cycle of high-speed pecks. He blocked most attacks by coating himself with haki, but those that got through were powerful. They tore away at his clothes and flesh.

"Dammit! Take this!"

Luffy glared at the monster and a strong pressure hit the bird. Luffy hit it with Conquer's Haki. This slowed the bird.

"You bastard..."

Luffy pulled both arms back.

"Take this! Jet Gatling Gun!"

The bird was bombarded with lightning-fast punches until Luffy started falling.

"I'm not down yet!"

Luffy's legs stretched and wrapped around the bird. He pulled the bird down with him. He twisted his body while pulling the monster.

"Jet Hammer!"

He slammed Boss A head-first into the earth. The ground cracked and the bird lay motionlessly on the ground.

"Hm?"

Luffy saw its stomach swell up. It flew up and released a deafening screech from one head.

"Ugh?!"

Luffy's body froze up. The other head spat in his direction. Luffy was hit by an invisible force and blown back.

'It's spitting air?!'

Air bullets hit Luffy's body and forced him off the ground. His body danced in the air as it was assaulted by a hail of invisible bullets.

"Shit, I still can't move!"

Luffy crashed through trees and boulders as everything was mowed down by the air bullets.

"Rayleigh said in times like these, all I need to do is release an intense amount of haki!"

Luffy's limbs blackened and his hair started moving wildly. A burst of gust spread out around him.

"I'm free!"

He regained control of his body. Seeing that, Boss A prepared to release another screech.

"Not so fast!"

Luffy instantly cut the distance. He popped in front of the bird.

"Red Hawk!"

He blew Boss A's head back. Its body flipped as it was forced back. Luffy chased after it.

"Hawk Gatling!"

He released an onslaught of flaming punches at the beast.

"I'm not done yet!"

Luffy stretched his arm behind him and twisted it.

"Hawk Rifle!"

He hit it in the back. A cracking sound reached his ear. Boss A blasted through countless trees and cleared a path through the forest before crashing into a cliff. The cliff crumbled and collapsed on top of him.

"Hah~. Hah~. That took more out of me than I would like. Using haki like that to free my body wore me out."

He tried to control his breathing as he headed back in Hancock's direction.

Meanwhile, Hancock was weaving through an onslaught of rapid attacks from the River Boss. Its attack speed and reach made it difficult to get a hit in.

She ducked under a claw, jumped over a tail whip, and evaded a bite by retreating.

'This is getting me nowhere. I'm only wearing myself out like this.'

Hancock took a deep breath and circulated it through her body.

"I wanted to take as little damage as possible to not make Luffy worry, but I guess it can't be helped."

Her eyes narrowed.

"Alright, I'm about to go all out so I can finish this before Luffy gets here."

She kicked off the ground with a boom. The River Boss shot towards her. It swung its long claws. Hancock stopped and redirected the claws with a kick. A tail whip slammed into her exposed sides.

"?!"

The River Boss' eyes widened as it couldn't move its tail.

"I got you."

Hancock gripped its tail with both hands. She pulled the monster towards her. It swung its long leg at her. Hancock took the attack head-on.

"To penetrate my haki defenses even a little..."

A trail of blood flowed from Hancock's head. She lifted the monster overhead.

"As expected of the monsters on this island!"

She slammed it on the ground with such force the earth cracked open.

"But I'm tougher!"

She kicked River Boss in the head. Its long body was blown away. It bounced off the ground a few times before springing to its feet.

"?!"

At that time, Hancock was already in front of it. She slammed her leg in its face and forced it back to the ground. She then flicked it off the ground with her foot. She spun and kicked it away. River Boss bounced like a ball trying to control itself. It dug its claws into the earth and stopped itself. It remained on all fours and launched itself at Hancock.

Hancock flew at it with a kick. The monster twisted out of the way and circled around her. It thrust its claws and head at her. Hancock was slammed into the earth. River Boss' fangs were inches away from digging into her flesh. However, Hancock held its head and arms in a lock using her arms and legs.

"You want to sample my flesh? Know your place!"

River Boss stood up intending to slam Hancock into the ground while she was still locking his head. Hancock instantly released the locks and landed on her hands. She spun in a handstand slamming her legs into the monster's head. The River Boss' head was forced to the side and it had to take a step back.

Hancock return to her feet and immediately evaded a strike from the monster's tail.

"You were probably invincible in the water if you're this fast and strong on land. However—"

Hancock hit the monster with a flying kick and forced it back. Hancock focused all her haki and strength in her legs.

"The Pirate Empress rules the lands!"

She kicked off the ground bursting open the earth. River Boss attacked with its claws and head. Hancock leaped into the air. The claws cut into her sides and clothes as she aimed a kick at the monster.

"Perfume Femur Magna!"

The kick increased in speed as it slammed into the monster's body. The sounds of bones shattering reached Hancock's ears. The River Boss was blown through the forest, destroying everything in its sight before crashing into the river. It floated on the water's surface with its eyes rolled to the back of its head and blood flowing out of it.

With this, Luffy and Hancock took down all the bosses other than King.
