Tribute
Sael sat on his throne looking out over the huge balcony that still opened from his throne room watching the third dawn since they'd laid Beth to rest. He absently scratched the day's worth of growth on his cheek before letting his land flop down beside him. His posture was terrible, half slumped and bags were under his eyes. Rage had carried him through her death and even her burial. But after it was done he found no one to level his rage against, well no one beyond himself. So, since then he'd done almost nothing but sit staring out of the castle.
