Chapter 63

Benjamin e Jacqueline approached the group where Louisa and Michael were in. This one saw and took a deep breath. Benjamin was like a nightmare to him. A nightmare while he was still awake. So annoying.

"Good evening!" Benjamin greeted the group. The others greeted him back. "Miss Jacqueline Russell and I were talking about how lovely this ball is. Congratulations to the duchess. She really did a good job. I can feel the Christmas spirit here."

"Indeed, my mother is very sensible and capable of doing many things. I thank you for the kindness." Michael said. He could not tell benjamin to piss off. It would seem like he is the one being mean with no reason.

"My pleasure." Benjamin said. "Now, I would like to know if the future Marquise would do me the honor of dancing."

Louisa looked at Michael. She was not expecting Benjamin to be so bold!

"I believe your partner may not like it, Mr. Dankworth." Michael replied, but Jacqueline smiled. He thought that was suspicious.
