Beautiful.
That was what came to mind when one walked through the halls of Olympus.
The soothing white architecture and aura of the Gods that inhabited them enriched it with a sense of the divine.
Hestia sauntered through these halls blessing the very floors she walked on with her magnanimity and kindness. But her gorgeous face was tainted with a frown.
She was a highly emotional and sensitive soul, so watching her family slaughtering each other was painful for her to watch so much so she was willing to forgive Cronus if it meant no harm were to befall her brothers. While the rest had different grievances with Cronus and many different feelings that drove them to fight Cronus— Zeus' ambitions, Poseidon's anger, and Hades Sadistic desire to inflict pain; Hestia was more concerned with their well being so much so that all that happened so far seemed insignificant in comparison especially seeing Demeter tremble at the very name of Cronus.
But what troubled her more was Hades' sudden declaration that he'll not have a seat on Olympus, and today a meeting was to called on Olympus to decide what to do with the Titans that are still left and the crack that was formed between the connection of Mt. Olympus with Skyland since Mt. Othrys was struck down by Zeus in an attempt to show dominance and make the Fall of Titans official.
She passed along many minor Gods and Immortals to reach the council. Zeus sat at the centre with Hera next to him which confused Hestia greatly cause as far as she remembers they weren't that friendly and Metis was missing as well.
Poseidon sat on the second throne with Amphitrite standing behind him. He looked towards Hestia giggling like a fool, his enthusiasm was quite easy to deduce.
She just stood there cause she had no seat on Olympus due to Newcomers named Dionysius and Aphrodite, to whom she offered her seat.
Though a seat was still empty and the entire council was now in attendance, just waiting on a single God's arrival.
The temperature started falling slowly and the fires burning in the halls turned blue. Out of the shadows walked out Hades, with just the slightest bit of red in his eyes.
Thanatos was accompanying him and stood by his side as Hades sat on his throne.
—" Let us begin.", Hades' words snapped everyone out of their trance and they noticed that nothing had happened. All they felt was raw fear causing them paranoia.
One united thought occurred in every God's mind "He grew stronger."
— "Ahm! Yes. I, Zeus, The God King bring this council to a start. The first order of business is what do we do about the between realms.", Zeus gathered his composure exceptionally quickly.
— " Well why did you bring down Mt. Othrys anyway, you could have waited for us or maybe just asked Gaia to do it for you.", Poseidon taunted back as Zeus tried to slip off the blame for the incident.
— "Quite brother! I didn't know this would happen.", Zeus replied quite frustrated by how things turned out and a bit embarrassed that he got called on his mistake.
— " I'll put Atlas responsible for holding the weight of the world. It's the best method to keep him in on a leash.", Hades voiced his opinion.
— "Atlas? isn't he supposed to be dead?", Poseidon was caught off-guard by that information.
— "Yeah I ripped his soul out and locked his body up. I don't have the tools to kill him or disperse him.", Hades callously replied that he ripped out the soul of the strongest Titan to live.
— " Yes, I agree with Hades let Atlas shoulder the weight of the world for all eternity.", Zeus called out quite enthusiastically but a lot of relief could be seen in his eyes. Maybe the fact that his brother was incapable of doing something he can provide some consolation to him since he was also caught up in the illusion.
— " Now that the critical matters have been dealt with, allow me to introduce to you the new members of the council, Aphrodite and Dionysius.", Zeus declared as looked towards his new best friends.
— "Thank you, Lord Zeus, and greeting fellow Gods of Olympus. My name is Aphrodite, daughter of Uranus.", with a polite voice the gorgeously heavenly beauty introduced herself. Hairs reaching the floor and bosom so big that her clothes barely covered them.
— " And my name is Dionysius —", Dionysius introduction was cut short by a sharp and cold voice that caused the tension within the room to rise.
— "Why is it that Hestia does not have a seat here?", Hades asked as he rested his head on his hand and looked around the table with narrow eyes whichever so slightly flickered red.
— " Hestia gave it up so that —", before Zeus could continue his explanation an amused laugh escaped Hades' mouth.
— "Hehehaha, so she gave it up huh? Who sit on it now?", Hades asked ever so politely but everyone started feeling something was off.
— "It was me Lord Hades.", Aphrodite spoke up with a polite voice that hid her haughty attitude.
— " Oh! It's you... hmm yes, I understand. Leave.", the refinement in Hades' voice left and all that was left was the voice of a Titan Killing Maniac.
"Brother, please it's no trouble at all. Calm down!", Hestia intervened before a fight could break out and it worked. She knew Hades would listen to her more than anyone else.
Everyone was mum at the table as Hades singled out the groups and factions that were slowly forming. His outburst served a two-fold purpose.
But Dionysius erased all that tension with just one word " Party".
And so the mood took an immediate turn to a more festive one. But Hades and Thanatos refrained.
And so the Meeting came to an end with Zeus getting drunk and forgetting to announce his wedding with Hera and discussing the banishment of Titans in Tartarus but it was just a plus for Hades.
P.O.V. Hades
Factions are starting to be formed and that whore sits on Hestia's seat. And she seems to have quite the influence over the minor Gods but that's meaningless in front of soul-shattering fear. But it will cause problems.
— "Brother! Please wait!", as Hades was walking down Olympus with Thanatos Hestia called out to him.
" Hmm? Hestia, what's the matter?"
— "Do plan to remove your seat from Olympus and not be a part of the Council? Please reconsider, I apologise on Zeus' behalf please don't leave.", Hestia pleaded with Hades. She didn't want what's left of her family to break apart.
And seeing that tear in her eye almost made Hades give up all schemes and plans and die alongside his sister cause he knew what he plans to do in the coming centuries would break her heart and Hestia who hasn't once ever hated anyone would learn of such emotion and that would be for him.
But a touch from Thanatos broke him out of it, he resolved himself. He was fine being loathed by her if it meant she survived.
" I'm sorry Hestia. It is the way it is. Take my seat on Olympus you need the power.", Hades just turned away started walking.
— "You liar! You said you wouldn't leave me behind!!?!", Hestia raised her voice which caused Hades to stop but he did not look back because he knew that if he did, he couldn't recover his resolve.
So he just walked away zoning out the sobbings of his sister like a coward.
The trip back to the Underworld was a lonely one. And Hades' days of loneliness were not to end for a long time.

A/n:- Ho finally got it ready. This chapter was difficult cause I tried my best to keep the conversation genuine and Character development for all side characters believable.
And I plan on spending time with more side characters like Zeus, Hera and Aphrodite cause I don't want to write bland and cartoonish antagonists.
But after that is done do tell should I do a Timeskip to Kratos timeline or steadily build it up.
And please don't give this crap of wanting a perfect MC that makes all good decisions and everyone ends up Loving him and everything works out for him. This is not a wish fulfilment novel. You can read some other vulgar trash that's on this site.
Anyways, leave your comments, suggestions, corrections, and criticisms in the comments. If you like my work leave a review and check my other stuff.
Alright, imma go pass out.
