Getting suited up.

Come next day, I woke up early in the morning, refreshed and ready to rock the world.

I stretched, getting off the bed, and woke Star up for the big day as we went through the morning routine.

Finishing up breakfast, I checked on the Bay and found it chock full of all sorts of shady and super shady characters.

The A.I.'s first sweep alone could spot Night and Fog entering Medhall in the early throes of the morning, all cloak and daggery.

Then there were the Teeth, an old gang that had been driven out of the city by the Slaughterhouse Nine the last time they came around, skulking about by the docks at an uneasy tension with what remained of the the Archer's Bridge Merchants, a gang of druggies that made up the minor players of the city. At least they used to, until I had wiped out a majority of them on my first day in this world to get my hands on the Cauldron vials.

Alongside them was of course the Protectorate East North-East in full force, with heroes patrolling every street in groups of four.

No wonder Night and Fog had to sneak into the city like rats in civilian guise.

Not far from the city, in an old abandoned motel the A.I. spotted the Yangban hiding out, their tinker tech teleporter hidden poorly in the small creek behind it.

I had expected some thanda capes somewhere around too but I guess after having their entire leadership melted like wax, they weren't keen on overstepping their bounds.

Not to be outdone by the heroes, the corporate world of parahumans and their leaders, the Elite, had sent envoys too, though these were staying in the only decent hotel left untouched in the upper west side of the city in what could generously be called the rich people quarter. Guess being a wagecuck even after getting powers pays surprisingly well.

They probably wanted to buy out the rights to the serum and mass manufacture it to sell it to the highest bidder.

Too bad, there wasn't going to be much of a sale. Or any at all for that matter.

This was all a ploy to bring the world's eyes to the city so I can deal maximum damage to the heroes' credibility in front of literally everyone.

I smiled.

Tiday was going to be a good day. I just have that feeling.

Finally, I checked up on the current position of the Slaughterhouse Nine, and found them en route to the city.

"How long till the Nine arrive in Brockton Bay?" I asked.

"Slaughterhouse Nine, ETA 48 minutes." The computer answered.

"Fantastic!" I exclaimed, handing the empty plates to a droid.

"Star. Get ready. And double check everything! I don't want a single scratch on you! Today's your big day. You gotta look like a thousand bucks." I ordered, patting his shoudlers.

"Yes Papa!" He nodded enthusiastically, before running off to the armory.

I for one, began prepping up too.

I portaled to the armory, and took in a deep breath of the unique smell of the highest tech murder gadgets.

A smile spread on my face, and I let out a giggle.

It's not everyday you get to go out fully decked in the finest of battle garb.

And such and occasion requires, nay demands the due diligence it deserves.

"Computer, let's suit up." I said, stepping onto the mobile platform.

"Initiating overly badass suit up sequence. Playing Frequality - Extended Version."

I pushed put my technokinesis and connected to the room as the platform began to lifted off it's perch, the repulsor-shift engine buzzing to life.

First on the list was a recharging of my internal matrix.

I passed through a solenoidal charge gate, as the mesh and internal bionics in my body hummed with positivity.

I clenched an unclenched my hand feeling the power surge through me.

Oh yeah baby! This is the shit!

Then, I was stripped and sent through a sanitizer, cleaning my body through, before I fit into the new skintight armor.

Next, I summoned out a replicator beam, and set it on me, forming into my new and improved power armor, an inch thick skintight bodysuit, like the ones from Gantz.

With that done, I put on usual sunny yellow long sleeved microfiber shirt and khaki pants, followed my the all terrain boots.

Another robo arm emerged from the wall, fitting my multifunction watch on my right hand, while another one strapped the nanotech EMP armband on the left.

From behind me, the reflexive spinal module flew in, attaching the sensors to the back of my neck, pricking into it.

I cracked my neck as I ran through the module's armaments.

With a poke of my technokinesis, four metal arms extended from the module like the iron spider suit, each with their own armaments, a freeze ray, a disintegration beam, a shrink ray, and a laser web cutter.

The top bulk of the pack also contained a battery of mini proton torpedoes on each side, and an extendable plasma cannon on the left shoulder pauldron.

That alongside the thrusters on the bottom, with a ten hour charge and a max speed of mach 3 with full 3D manueverability, and a backup shoulder mounted portal projector on the right pauldron, controlled via my contacts, meant I was practically untouchable.

A tray extended towards me next, with a portal tech signal earring that would keep the signal from the ship open no matter the disruptions on-world or off-world and an anti mind control earpiece, the classic one, cleaned and run through maintenance.

A small bot floated up to me, attaching the fully charged forcefield generator to my hip while another droid brought in a jewellery box, opening it up to reveal a familiar set of four rings that he put on my left hand.

I gripped them and felt them thrum with barely contained rage.

Yes. This would serve as a fun distraction.

I summoned my high tech labcoat, causing it to float onto my body, wrapping snugly about my form as if chittered in glee.

"Yes, yes. You're a good labcoat." I praised, straightening out the creases from it as the platform came to a stop before a gallery of potions and serums, the showcase moving in closer as I picked out a pair of CodeReds, a multilimb potion set and the anti master serum.

The basics chosen I looked further into them, passing over the love potion to a glowing red batch of vials.

Corrosion potions, a vial of volatile substance that exploded into a fine red mist that ate through and melted everything it touched.

I picked out four of these, and another test tube of purple ooze stuffing them into holsters on my suit, before grabbing an empty syringe for the purple ooze's effect, along with a flask of megaseed juice, sliding it into my coats inside breast pocket.

The platform began to move again, finally coming to a stop in the miscellaneous gadget room.

I stepped off the platform and started going through the drawers.

Some of the gadgets I took were the standard carry ons for me. The laser goggles, miniaturised implosion and disintegration grenades that I stuffed by the handfuls into my pockets, to the point I worry Dengar might sue me for copyright infringement!

There was also my lightsaber, the telekinetic module and the bionic ferro liquid cartriges for the nano glove, that I grabbed out of sheer habit and a hard light projector ring that I used mostly for gags by making a holographic punching glove.

Good wholesome fun and a prank I can't wait to pull on one of the heroes.

Then I grabbed some stasis beacons too, for the part with Noelle.

And a spare nanite canister. Just in case my nano swarm gets busted.

Now it was time to move on to the other items that were a bit out there.

The timestopper remote, for one. It was made with crystallized xanthenite and was able to create a localized time bubble around the given reality, freezing everything except the wielder in place. A final escape option if things get really hairy.

Then a lapel pin that I liked to call the Ragnarok Brooch, because it puts the fear of man in gods. It projected an energy field onto me that gave me a temporary power up. In the show Rick used this to go toe to toe with discount Zeus. It can at least help me keep up with the heroes and Scion, if need be.

A handful of shrunk down Meseeks boxes, antigrav and matter annihilation charges with the border chalk to boot.

With that, I looked over to the gun aisle and picked out two choice weapons.

One, my good old, trusty nine gauge laser pistol with an added liquefaction mode and the second, the antimatter gun.

Then, after a second thought, I picked up another two rifles, a gravity gun and a neon pink one that shit explosions.

That shit was rad.

Checking their ammo, I holstered them all before the final and most important armament of all was brought before me.

The portal gun, fully refilled.

Can't leave without it.

Tucking it into my pants, I walked out of the room, and found Star waiting for me in the lobby.

"You ready?" I asked.

"Uhun!" Star nodded, pointing out his lighstaber and forcefield generators.

"Good." I praised him, patting his head.

"Take this too." I added, handing him a disintegration grenade.

"Use it on the big beasty man when you fight the Nine."

"Okay." Star replied.

"Computer, Slaughterhouse Nine ETA?" I asked.

"11 minutes 21 seconds." It answered.

"Alright. Display the live feed from Brockton Bay." I ordered, and a litany of windows popped up on the contacts, showing the heroes getting increasingly agitated, even more of them being teleported into the city.

I counted nearly 300 heroes on site at the Rig that was the PRT HQ in the Bay.

Probably the Thinkers catching on to the approaching disaster that was the Nine.

Unfortunately for them, it was just about to get worse.

"Computer, start teleporting the dimensional anchors around the world. Once that's done, set up the matter annihilation array in low earth orbit. Stealth mode of course. Don't want anyone getting wise now." I said, extending my power into the console of the ship, checking up on the FTL cannon, for the final run.

It was stocked, and ready to fire. All bolts enchanted to the highest degree possible.

The portal projector was charged up too, ready to go at a moment's notice.

I picked up the schoolbag sized extra forecfield generator I made for today and handed it to Star for safekeeping, lest I forget it.

Finally, there was just one last thing to do.

Keep the heroes busy for the time being.

And I had the perfect people for the job.

here's the extra chaoter for the 100 powerstones.

today's regular chaoter is almost done too

just needs a whole buttload of editing.

anyways, tell me how you feel about his chapter.

thanks for reading and bye~
