Finally Free?

After David left the room izuku was in, he went to the people who were watching through the glass in the room wall to talk with them.

"ok guys I don't think he knows where he is, and it seems he isn't lying, but that doesn't mean we should completely trust him"

said David, and he continued "I think instead of putting him in a cell let's leave him here, and while he's in there, we check the credibility of his words"

the people in the room just nodded but one of them seemed to not like the idea very much

"Why should we leave him here, he might have something planned, we can't let him unguarded"

said the man

David retorted "leaving him here doesn't mean I trust him, while I was surprised he was able to destroy some of the robots he didn't do it directly from what the cameras showed, and if anything I made it so that the restraining mechanism will emidiatly activate if he does something funny, and we all know those were made with allmight in mind, so there shouldn't be any more objections"

after glaring at the person who spoke before, which made him nod slowly, David and the rest got out of the room, the rest went back to their usual work they were doing while David went to contact the authorities in Japan.

after a while David got everything he needed, he found a case of a missing person named izuku midoriya that disappeared 3 days ago, with no trace after getting involved in some villain situation, and was suspected to run away from home, and his mom is stressed at the sudden disappearance of her son and is blaming herself, and after some more digging he found izuku's quirk registry which stated that he was quirkless, which David found weird since the cameras clearly showed izuku handling the security robots easily, which made him suspicious, but he left it for later for when he questions izuku again.

[izuku's POV]

I was in the waiting room, waiting for someone to get here or something to happen but after a while I gave up and tried to sense the Ki around me to see if I am being watched, I developed this technique in the hyperbolic time chamber, it works by spreading my Ki in a formation that looks like a spider web and feeling if they come to contact with other beings Ki, at first when I utilized this technique someone as skillful and with hardened senses like master bang could feel me trying to sense him when my Ki reaches him, but after training, I became good at it enough that even masters bang and bomb both can't feel it.

I also usually can sense as far as I want because I had a huge Ki pool from the constant training in the chamber, and after my physical abilities returned to how they were from before I got to the hyperbolic time chamber, I thought that at least my Ki would stay the same but it too also lessened, which was disheartening, but after a while a felt my body grow both in physical and spiritual strength, how do I know that? you ask because I can also sense my Ki, and I can feel minor changes in my body if they happen at a fast rate...duh.

but little did izuku know another change happened in his body when he got out of the hyperbolic time chamber that he couldn't sense.

anyway, after a while I confirmed that no one is near me, which might seem a bit lacking on their part, but to be fair at this point in time even if I tried my hardest I wouldn't be able to escape.

after a few hours I felt that someone was getting closer to me by sensing the Ki in the area, yes I didn't stop sensing the Ki, why? because it's a form of training, and If my strength is slowly getting regained from my training with my masters, if I also train again in this world on top of it I would become stronger than I ever was in the hyperbolic time chamber.

after a few moments, the person that I sensed entered, and thankfully it was David shield.

as soon as he entered and sat down he started questioning me with a friendly tone "your name is izuku midoriya, you already said that, but I will have to question you a bit more to make sure, is that ok?"

that's a weird thing to ask for someone being held for questioning, but hey maybe because of his friendly nature...scrap that it's exactly because of his friendly nature, but there is still a hint of cautiousness in him.

"yes, of course!" I answered enthusiastically

"ok ok, hahaha, I like that you are not stressed it makes this easier," said David.

he then continued "what's your mother's name?"

"inko midoriya!"

"what's your father's name?"

"Hisashi midoriya!"

"what's the living conditions of your family"

"my father works close to here in the USA, and I live with my other in mostafu japan, we are neither rich nor poor, and my father sends money every month so that we can continue living easily, and my mother works as a nurse in our city's hospital"

'good until now he hadn't said anything that contradicts the information we got' David thought to himself, getting relieved a little bit, which izuku noticed due to his high perception and analysis skills with also in turn relieved him.

but suddenly David got tense as the next two questions are the most important, and depending on how izuku or supposedly the izuku in front answers things might get complicated.

izuku also felt and noticed the change in atmosphere and readied himself for what was coming next.

"What...what is your quirk?" David was getting nervous and he hoped the answer he received was a good one, which was exactly what he got.

"I...I am quirkless" izuku said With the light in his eyes leaving him for a bit before it came back, this happened so quickly that David didn't notice the change in izuku's eyes as they were back to normal now.

but even though David was relieved to hear the answer, the next question is just as important and the answer no matter what it was will be problematic.

"h-how did you destroy the robots? and how did you get here?"

David was nervous but he tried not to show it, but it's easy for izuku to notice these things no matter how hard you tried to hide them.

after David asked the question he was looking intensely at izuku, who got into a thinking posture, he pressed his back against the chair and put his hand on his chin, and looked at the ceiling for a little bit, roughly for 5 seconds before he instantly turned back his attention to David, he did this to give to make him look like he is trying to remember what happened exactly, which worked.

"let me start with the second question, I was returning home from school after a little incident involving my acquaintance and a villain happened, and I inserted myself into it, and after getting scolded by the heroes and going home, I got to my neighborhood, and before I know it I was walking in a weird white space"

when David heard the first part he was relieved it was as he was told and what he researched, but the second part made him give izuku a questioning look, but izuku continued anyway.

"I was startled when I noticed this obviously, but after trying to calm down and try to assess my situation, I found myself transported to a different place yet again, and it was here which of course surprised me but after looking around and understanding where I was I quickly calmed down, but was still stressed as to how this happened, but noticed the robots coming at me which remained me that I got here out of nowhere and I am considered a threat"

David was calm so far, yes it was hard to believe but the footage from the CCTV showed that everything he said is true.

"and now to your first question"

the atmosphere tended again, and David began physically sweating, only to almost fall from his chair when he heard the answer.

"I don't know"

'FUUUUUUUCK, THIS IS THE BEST THAT I CAN DO, IT FEELS LIKE I AM SPITING ON MY MASTERS LEGACY BUT IT HAD TO BE DONE!!!!'

but even with David having a hard time trying to look izuku in the eye, trying to see if he is bullshiting him, he saw that he was serious and was continuing what he had to say.

"I just for some reason could easily read their movements, and I didn't really attach them directly, just made them hit themselves"

after a while of the two staring at each other, David with a shocked face and a mouth open to an inhuman degree, and izuku sheepishly laughing and rubbing the back of his head.

David finally collected himself, it was time to decide whether to believe this kid and help him get home, or look him up and send him to prison in japan...and fortunately for izuku, he chose to believe this story, because it fits perfectly with what the cameras captured, even the weird space distortion izuku got out from, but what exactly caused this phenomenon, an anomaly in the universe that was corrected and izuku was somehow caught in the middle of it but miraculously survived, or was it a villain with a pocket dimension quirk, for now, David left those on the back of his mind and made his top priority to get this kid home.

after a little bit of talk between the two with David asking a few questions about the situation like 'was there something in that white space?' and things like that and izuku of course answering with 'no', at this point it's easy to tell that izuku wasn't telling the truth but wasn't exactly lying, but why is he doing that.

'while I am good at reading people and everything, I can't hide my emotions and actions very well, so instead of lying about everything which will be hard, I tell half-truths about everything except for the things that I have to flat out lie about, but thankfully there wasn't much to lie about, which made things easy'

but even with telling half-truths, it's hard to hide this fact, but how did izuku learn to do that? well because he was in a different dimension with the only people there being two old men that love to tease him, and because he was thrown there in his 'growing' period he had to relieve himself using his imagination and the material left by his lord and savior Mr. popo, but of course, that would mean the old men my notice and tease him so he learned how to tell half-truths to avoid their talk about youth and young love.

'those were though time, but I finally got over them, but now that I am here I will have to get a girlfriend, fuck single life I not only need human interactions beside old people, I also need the warmth of a girl on my side' his time in the chamber has made him...let's just say horny to a big degree.

after finishing all of the questioning were asked David told izuku that he will live in his house for the next two weeks because they need to inform the authorities and his mom, and do a little bit of paperwork, now, of course, that wouldn't take two weeks and David noticed that izuku thinks that, but his answer made izuku happy

"it's just as a compensation for everything that happened to you recently, and us interrogating you"

izuku was happy as he was finally able to relax and enjoy his time.

but unfortunately for him

AN: oops wrong kind of foreshadowing.

*cough**cough* and fortunately for him his time is just about to get better.
