Immorally Impractical Immortal

Arius had played the role of a hero many times, but he's also been the villain in other people's lives. You save some and you ruin others, he was never a saint. If one wishes for death, it could never be granted. To live forever was a fate worse than death, at least when you're alone for the punishment. Truly, love was a dangerous thing, and Arius had avoided it for centuries. Unfortunately, one day it suddenly came to slap him in the face. In fact, it quite literally felt like being crushed by a building. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Well, what do you have to say for yourself?" "I love you...?" "Do you realize I already know that?" "Yes." "Then why do you say it all the damn time?!" She tried to storm off but was suddenly stopped by the hand that grabbed hers. "For fun." He grinned. She glanced at his hand before saying blankly, "It was a rhetorical question." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wise folks say only fools rush in, so they were all fools. ___________ (I changed the titled back to Immorally Immortal) Cover credits: Myself! Kind of messed up on it though... oh well. So... I've decided to move to wattpad. I guess this is bad news if you care? I'll cease to update on webnovel! I had in the past promised to not scratch this story, and i won't, just... Wattpad gives me more options in my writing style. - Overall, moving things over is complicated, I don't exactly know what I'm doing.

Interrogation

"Can't you make up your mind, do you hate me or love me?" Asrael was taller than her, but she was still stronger. If he tried to get away now, he knew that he wouldn't be able to.

"Both!" She had little interaction with people, so this hug had shown that she was either getting used to Asrael, or that she simply didn't see Asrael as a person. It was likely the former, but Arius wanted to believe it was the latter.

"Eh?" Asrael was surprised. What did that mean?

"I should adopt you!" She pulled away, smiling like the idiot she was. Though when Arius heard that, his mood shifted.

Asrael blinked. 'Excuse me what the f*ck.'

"You can't just adopt me!"

"But Arius adopted Dante!" Zuna turned to the man with a silly smile. "Arius, I want to adopt him, is that okay?"

"Of course." He nodded.

'What about my opinion?' Arsael stood with an astonished look. He was completely disregarded and it made him want to argue, yet he couldn't. He had made a life changing decision in his room, though he wouldn't tell the rest about it. He still had his pride to uphold after all, or whatever was left of it since last night.

What did he decide? To be a better person, but only to these four people. Ah wait, where is Eirik? Dante had followed him down the stairs, and these two were here together. "Where's Eirik?"

"Oh, on a mission. Speaking of, we have a mission later." Arius stayed vague, so as to not have Asrael refuse.

"Mission?" Asrael asked as if he'd never heard the word before.

"Yea, we're finding lost puppies." Arius smiled simply. Asrael accepted his fate. Dante thought it weird of Asrael to agree so easily, but since it was technically a good thing, he wouldn't ruin it.

Zuna turned her attention back to the man on the couch. "Arius, can you send me the details for Elisabeth now?"

"Let me just text David." Arius pulled out his phone. "Another thing, Asrael and Dante are starting school next week."

Asrael absentmindedly hummed in acknowledgment, but then had to do a double take. 'School? Oh hell no.'

Asrael silently went somewhere to sit down, contemplating on how to get out of it. Dante had a different reaction however, he lit up like a firefly.

After Zuna was told Elisabeth's details, she contacted her. Immediately afterwards she put her onesie on and left, with Dante in tow.

They had to call a taxi, and that made Arius wonder, 'How did Eirik move around?' He wouldn't be surprised if he ran everywhere, the man had powerful legs.

"When are we starting the mission?" Asrael looked over at Arius, who was comfortably typing away at his laptop.

"As soon as the bunny onesies come in the mail." Arius looked over. "Don't worry, I got yours in black."

The onesies he bought previously were all brown, but perhaps if they get destroyed more in the future he would buy them in different colors.

"Right..." For a moment, running seemed like a good idea, however he somehow he knew he couldn't get away.

It was late when anyone got back. It was Eirik, and he came dragging a man by his collar.

"Who's that?" Arius had been on the couch waiting.

"He knows my target."

Arius sighed, "So you're calling the guy a target? And why did you bring him here?"

"Interrogation."

"Ugh, whatever. Just don't do anything unnecessary." Arius had to rub his face with the palm of his hands. Seeing the unconscious man with his pants almost shredded confirmed that Eirik went by foot everywhere he went. Eirik was ridiculous, but he was still impressive.

"Do you have super speed or something?" Asrael had gotten to the same conclusion.

"No." Eirik didn't bother going into detail. If Eirik didn't want you to specifically know what he was thinking, you wouldn't have the slightest idea. Eirik was a mystery.

"Okay..." Asrael went to the kitchen. He figured Zuna and his brother would be back soon, so he started cooking.
