36 Infertile

A young women happily skipped around in her bunny onesie, holding the hand of another bunny. She didn't look much like the young boy, her blonde hair and hazel eyes contrasting with his brown hair and blue eyes. Their facial structures were also quite different. Yet even with the differences, people would assume the two were related.

The young women led the boy towards the gate, inside they could see a mansion. It was three times the size of Arius's house without a doubt.

"Excuse me?" She asked the man inside the stall to the side of the entrance, remembering to stay at least two feet away.

"Yes miss?" The man raised his brows, he had half a brain not to laugh at their outfits.

"I'm here to meet Elisabeth Bennett, she should know of my arrival." She calmly stated, not wanting to appear unrefined.

"Hazuna Nitya, I presume?"

She nodded.

The man glanced at the young boy before turning to open the gate, using a lever of course. Once it was open, the man said, "There should be a servant inside to escort you to where the madam is waiting."

Zuna looked at him with appreciation, "Thank you." Then she strutted off, ignoring Dante's look of helplessness.

"So you're Zuna?" The middle aged women looked over. She didn't look her age, she still appeared quite young.

"Yes." Zuna kept Dante close.

"Who is this child?" Elisabeth looked at him gently.

"His name is Dante." Zuna gave a polite smile.

"He's a cutie, but what is he doing here?" The lady didn't get too close to Zuna, since she was already advised not to.

"Oh, he's here to help me."

"How old is he?"

"Seven." Zuna told a lie. "Don't worry, he'll definitely be able to do as he's asked."

"Alright." The lady was sceptical, but didn't bother with it.

They discussed what made Elisabeth suspicious of her husband's infidelity, and Zuna had to agree that he had to have been cheating. The most obvious sign that he was cheater was the fact that Elisabeth had found 'protection' hidden away, despite the fact that she was infertile.

"Anyway, I'll be leaving the house for a week. My husband will be staying home, I'm hoping you could stay as spys for me."

"So, does that mean we are staying the night?" Zuna asked. She should have expected it, but she didn't. She'd barely gotten used to life at Arius's house too.

"Yes, how else will you catch him?" Elisabeth thought that she was explaining the obvious. "Another thing, I do expect you to be able to sneak around. Since I can't grant you too much access, as my husband might find out about you that way."

Time passed as they talked, and eventually it was time for Elisabeth to leave for the week. She was leaving that very day, and so Zuna and Dante would stay the night. It was doubtful that they would really find anything on the first day of her leave, but you could never be too certain.

The pair of women somehow ended up as friends after the conversation. Zuna felt sympathy for Elisabeth, who had always wanted to be a mother but unfortunately couldn't do so. However, that turned into Zuna promising to visit in the future and bring along Dante.
