There were two things that became quite apparent to Kairos after using this ability. For starters, it seemed to consume mana proportional to the amount of his body he had given up. Unfortunately, he could not recover that mana, at least not while his body was split since his maximum mana had been reduced as well.
But otherwise, his other stats were unaffected.
He still needed to experiment more, but it didn't look like he had any direct control over the parts he had split apart.
The wolf wagged its tail rather excitedly while being petted by Nicole. She appeared completely unaffected by the lightning radiating from its body.
"Good boy! Good boy!"
Although it wasn't too clear, he was able to sense what the wolf was thinking and feeling. It was able to sense Nicole genuinely believing itself cute, and was rather excited and friendly because of it.
Tori was a bit nervous, but also unbearably curious. She stood up and slowly approached it.
