28 Top Ten High Schools Competition pt 4

Long Yin woke up early next morning, deciding to freshen up with some morning exercise to wake up completely, as she was guaranteed to meet the Educational Committee President due to her cultivation level.

As the seats filled to the brim, and the broadcast crew set up the stage, a new person appeared on commentators desk.

- Hello everyone, I'm Cheng Bo, President of Educational Committee on this planet. As this year's students seem to present amazing progress for their age I decided to come and soectate. I also have an announcement to make: Top three of this competition will be given access to Ster Spirit Spring for three, two and one day for first, second and third place respectively. So that others don't feel like they're missing out, the other seven students from top ten will be given a Spiritual Crystal. That said, let's start the quaterfinals. First, Cho Gah versus Eili Se.

The fight was long and brutal. The students didn't use any techniques and just attacked with their specialities - biting and kicking. In the end Eili Se had to surrender because of numerous bites on her calves that she couldn't endure anymore after Cho Gah feasted on them.

In the spectating room where the Headmasters and Director watched, you could see numerous Headmasters with leftover palm prints on their faces, as they used too much strength facepalming. Cheng Bo didn't look too pleased:

- WHAT. IS. THIS. This is what taxpayers pay for you to teach in you #4 High , huh?! To bite ankles like cannibals?! You can expect my visit within a month. If I don't see drastic improvement your school WILL. BE. DISBANDED. Understood?!

- Yessir!

The Headmaster of #4 High looked a little green. Tang San smelled odour of urine, but decided against mentioning it.

The next match was Rou You vs Shang Yun. After they entered the arena Rou You silently took her fighting stance,while Shang Yun just looked at her arrogantly:

- Just surrender. You're a pretty girl, I don't want to harm you. Let me take my revenge on your classmates and then you can be my girlfriend, okay?

- Hmph. Peach Blossom Saber Art: Forest of Blossoming Cherries!

What followed next would follow the spectators in their nightmares for their whole life. Rou You narrowed her eyes in anger, a forest of cherry trees manifesting around her in an illusion, with an enormous peach-bearing tree at the center. After parrying Shang Yun's arrogantly thrown Flash Fist, she caught him in a body lock, then proceeded to violently stab him with her blunt saber multiple times. Spectators would later swear, that amid the painful cries of Shang Yun there were also cries of pleasure, as the illusion of a tree seemed to decide to violently probe his rectum with a peach. After a minute, the whole arena was covered with leaves of cherry blossom, that soon faded to reveal panting Rou You, and drooling Shang Yun sleeping on the floor.

After a minute of silence the stupified comentators dinally called the score:

- Winner, Rou You of #1 High!

Long Yin walked up to her and asked, intrigued:

- So, I've tried to ignore it but I can't anymore. Why is your Art called Peach Blossom Saber Art when it uses Cherry Blossom trees too?

- Erm... That's because it isn't truly its name. The full name is Peach Blossom Tree Ruling Over A Forest Of Ten Thousand Cherry Trees Saber Art. As you might have guessed, my ancestor was bad with names. We shorten it to save time and surprise our enemies.

After a few minutes of talking about her Saber Art Rou You and Long Yin's conversation was interrupted by an announcement:

- Next, Long Yin versus Shi Feng!

Long Yin sighed, it was her time to fight and the conversation was just getting interesting. Apparently Peach Blossom Saber Art was a technique specializing in illusions and hypnotism. Everything the audience saw happen on stage was a coverup to hide the fact that Rou You just put Shang Yun to sleep. He'd even have fake memory of getting probed by a peach.

Hearing the explanation of the Art made Yin feel terrified for the first time. It seemed she underestimated the level of this world. Peach Blossom Saber Art resembled a random fusion of characters from Bleach. Perfect illusion and hypnosis if you've seen even a single petal? That sounded even more terrifying than Aizen. Thankfully the Art had drwaback of being extremely hard to cultivate. Yin decided to stop guessing and seriously fight Shi Feng.

As they entered the arena she apologized:

- I'm sorry. There's no enmity between us but I'll have to eliminate you for the sake of my brother, please don't hold it against me.

- Pfft, don't worry shorty, If you defeat me I won't hold it against you.

Long Yin didn't hear his response as after hearing "shorty" all she saw was red. She wasn't short! She was just young and grew sliwly! Pain! Only pain will teach him and enlighten him of his wrongdoings. She lunged at him with an uppercut with a scream:

- I'm not short, I'm just younger!!!

Shi Feng didn't really have much time to process things, as no sooner he saw Long Yin vanish, he felt a powerful punch connect with his gut, lifting him in the air.

The audience looked in wonder, as Long Yin launched Shi Feng in the air with powerful uppercut, then jumped and followed with chain of punches and kicks, juggling him in the air. One of the spectating students started counting loudly:

- Ten Combo! Twenty Combo! M-m-monster Combo!

After thirty hits Long Yi had to land. In front of her, a gigantic bruise vaguely resemblibg human followed. #3 High Headmaster couldn't watch the torture anymore:

- Surrender! We surrender and drop out! Just take this demon away from my student!

Hearing the shout Long Yin calmed down, then nodded to judge to announce the results.

- Winner, Long Yin!

The medical team carefully took away Shi Feng, who kept moaning in pain whenever something brushed against his skin. After ensuring he was provided full medical care the competition resumed.
