Chapter 6: Exam Day
It is Exam day, Shouta couldn't sleep due to the kiss that Sumi and Shouta shared.
"Oh dear I couldn't sleep last night,I wonder if she got home safe" -Shouta
After eating breakfast, taking a bath, and getting dressed he was ready to leave.
"Mom I'm leaving now"-Shouta
"Ok stay safe" -Shouta's mom
Shouta was headed to school but before that he messaged Sumi.
*messages*
<Shouta > Hey Sumi senpai
<Sumi♡ > Leave me alone.
*this number has blocked you*
"Oh dear, I guess she blocked me aswell" -Shouta
After Sumi blocked Shouta, Shouta was left with confusion. He is now heading to school even more worried about Sumi.
"Good morning sleepy head~" -Masahiko
"What's with the sudden greeting?" -Shouta
"I just thought it was appropriate to greet my friends" -Masahiko
"Strange" -Shouta
"So did it go well?" -Masahiko
"What do you mean?" -Shouta
"Well, your date with Sumi senpai" -Masahiko
"What! We weren't dating! What gave you that idea" -Shouta
"Well, if you weren't dating then explain this"-Masahiko
*Masahiko proceeds to show Shouta an image of the incident/them kissing last night*
"Wait how did you get that?" -Shouta
"So you guys were dating" -Masahiko
"No, we're not" -Shouta
"Well to answer your question, Kiyomi sent it to me" -Masahiko
"So what are you trying to do?" -Shouta
"Oh~ I'm glad you asked" -Masahiko
Masahiko pushes Shouta into the bush and goes on top of him, and leans closer to him
"Masa- hiko" -Shouta
"What're you trying to do" -Shouta
Masahiko proceeds to kiss Shouta.
Meanwhile upstairs:
"This is enough proof to convince her he's taken" -Kiyomi
Kiyomi was waiting for this to happen, they planned it all this time.
"I'm sorry Masahiko to make you do this but this is the only way to prevent them from dating" -Kiyomi
Shouta is stuck in a pickle cause he can't resist it cause she is a female and he can't touch her in any sort of way unless he wants to get in more trouble.
"Masa stop this, please" -Shouta
"How about no" -Masahiko
"I'm sorry Masahiko but I got to do this" -Shouta
*Shouta touches her chest to push her away, and he succeeds*
"Aahh~" -Masahiko
"That was not part of the plan Masahiko but it works I guess" -Kiyomi
Kiyomi takes a picture of Shouta touching Masahiko's chest. Suddenly a familiar figure appears in the presence of Shouta and Masahiko.
"Get off my besto friendo" -Shouta A
*Shouta A grabs Masahiko by the arm and pulls her away*
"Thanks Shouta" -Shouta
"No problem" -Shouta A
Shouta was walking but then Sumi arrived, as soon as she arrived Shouta came to greet her.
"Hi" -Shouta
Sumi ignores Shouta.
"W-wait up Sumi senpai" -Shouta
"Hey Sumi, did you get home sa-" -Shouta
"Forget it" -Sumi
"Wha" -Shouta
"I said forget it" -Sumi
"Leave me alone -Sumi
"We can fix this wait up" -Shouta
She didn't wait for him and left anyways. During the exam Shouta couldn't concentrate due to the whole situation that's going on. After the first 3 subjects of exam it was lunch break.
*Lunch break*
*In Shouta's mind"
"I better clear things up between me and Sumi, I better apologize"
Shouta ran towards Sumi but got the same results as last time. She ignored him and left. Shouta goes back to his room to eat his lunch.
"So you haven't given up have you?" -Masahiko
"You're so pathetic" -Masahiko
*Shouta sighs*
"What am I doing wrong?" -Shouta
Shouta still can't think straight and is often distracted throughout the rest of the exam, many of his friends and classmates start to notice Shouta. Shouta was too distracted he can't concentrate, he starts to hallucinate and sees the letters on the examination sheet moving rapidly.
"Hey are you okay?" -Kiyomi
"No it's all your fault" -Shouta
"What did I do?" -Kiyomi
"You thought I wouldn't notice? I saw you on the window of the second floor, taking a picture and laughing" -Shouta
"You have sharp eyes" -Kiyomi
"Oh by the way good luck avoiding the allegations, our deal is about to expire, you don't want the images getting leaked don't ya' " -Kiyomi
Shouta was stuck in a situation wherein he has to obey their demands or else he is getting in a lot of trouble. Just a few moments till' the bell rings, Shouta is still debating whether he should talk to Sumi or not.
*bell rings*
"Okay class make sure you get home safely" -Amy Sensei
*in Shouta's mind*
"Oh should I talk to her, she'll come here anyways cause she follows Kouta senpai."
"Hey Shouta is Masahiko here?" -Kouta
"Yeah she's over there" -Shouta
*In Shouta's mind*
"Huh that's strange she isn't with him, she's always with him though, I can't ask him where she is cause it will look like I'm obsessed with her and yeah it's horrible"
Suddenly when all hopes were lost Sumi appeared, Shouta saw a touch of hope. Shouta ran after Sumi hoping to get her attention by yelling her name.
"SUMI!" -Shouta
"W-wait up!" -Shouta
"What do you want? I've already told you to leave me alone! If you want to apologize then go ahead, nothing will change! I'm sick and tired of this! Just leave me alone!" Sumi shouted at Shouta.
Just then with all the stress that Sumi has, her hearing vanished temporarily and all she can hear are tiny bits of sounds.
"Sumi!" Shouta yelled
"Natsumi Senpai" Shouta shouted again
Just when she heard it she turned around to look at him, but it was too late as she ran too far in the road. Shouta watched as his beloved senior was hit by a truck. As Sumi was hit she saw her life play out in slow motion as if it was her time already.
"Natsumi senpai" said by Shouta
Shouta rushed towards her unconscious body, he picked her up and started bursting into tears.
"N-natsumi senpai, p-please don't go yet, stay with me, I beg of y-you don't go yet, t-there are a lot more t-things I haven't done and said y-yet, d-dont go." Said by Shouta while crying
As Sumi's final moments arise she managed to utter these words:
"Didn't.. I tell you not.. To call me that, also.. you can... tell.. me all about it.. later, I'm sorry.. Shouta... I should've told you ... sooner... I... Love... You."
