Eager to get on with the fighting they go towards an open area on the grass to start the spar. After they had gotten there they realised they hadn't been told any rules or who fights who. Realising what that meant Charles goes in the middle to take the challenge of whoever comes up as he knows that although he might be physically the strongest he isn't the strongest overall. Having a tactit understanding of the 'rules' they decided on a no killing, no crippling and an open challenge combat where someone who wants to challenge someone on the 'stage' if they believe they are stronger than them.

Wind blowing between the blades of grass that are up to their knees Frederick (Kid from The School of Science) goes towards Charles and plainly states his name, rank and level. "Frederick, Rank 1 Level 4". Not wanting to be shown up Charles also says his name, rank and level. "Charles, Rank 1 Level 1". Slightly surprised by that Frederick asks "Why are you up here?".

"Huh" Charles not happy with someone judging him on his level. He has always believed that although the numbers are important you cannot lose your will to fight just because you are not higher or on par with them, of course that is within an acceptable limit as challenging someone many times stronger than you is just suicide.

Clealry not caring towards his displeasure Frederick continues on, "I said 'Why are you here?'. Did you not think that there no one here would be stronger than you?".

Charles' expression is now very grim as Frederick continues to degrade him. Not wanting to listen anymore he just starts running towards him, bringing his arms up getting ready to chop him in half as brutally as possible. His arms start bulging and expanding to twice their size which comes from his skill War God's Chop which boosts his chopping attacks by 300% and permanently enhances his arms' strength and endurance. Their initial distance from each other was about 50 m but with Chalres dash they are now only 30 m apart.

However before Charles even got within 20 m of Frederick, Frederick quickdraws two pistols that resembled a desert eagle however the two guns were pure black and they seemed to shoot energy bullets that used his energy (Willpower). Originally the two desert eagles were at his waist at either side in their holsters but in a split second he was already holding them in his hands poised to shoot down Charles. In his anger Charles had forgotten the one thing you should always do before a battle, scope out your enemy and what they can do. Eyeing Charles Frederick shoots him twice in the chest, one on the right and one on the left. Although they were not lethal as he moderated his power down but the bullets were powerful enough to severely bruise Charles' chest and knock him on his ass.

"Bang. You're dead" Frederick stated in a matter-of-fact tone that slightly ticked Charles off. Getting up he was mocking himself for rushing into the battle without preparation however just as he was getting up Frederick came over and offered him a hand and said that although he is weak for now it doesn't mean he always will be. Charles realised that although he speaks about things in a very matter-of-fact way he is actually quite easy going, but he is still lethal when comlimenting as he still managed to add the fact that he is weak.

Being helped up Charles walks off to the side and just as Steven (Azure Dragon Sect kid) was going to go up he was instantly knocked on his ass by a bullet to the center of his chest, except he wasn't the only one as Frederick had managed to exploit everyones unpreparedness for the attacks and hit Michael (Holy Church kid), Ashley (Nirvana Pheonix Sect), Steven and Reed (Adventurer) all within the same second knocking them straight down to the ground. Instead of taking the usual way of accepting challenges Frederick decided it would be better to just beat them and take charge so they could get whatever it is they have to do done quickly so as to avoid any changes to the situation. Indignation erupted in their hearts as they didn't expect him to sneak attack them.

Michael got up calmly as if it never happened and kept his smile on his face whilst he dusted off his, white with gold stitching on the edges with some church symbols, robe. Steven then got up with a bitter smile as he didn't even get to show any of his strength but he didn't say anything as the Azure Dragon Sect advocates the 'Law of the Jungle' where the strong rule and the weak serve, to him it was only natural to accept Fredericks lead after being beaten. However Ashley is the princess of the Macdonald clan who are an old clan from the middle class who are near enough ready to become a part of the upper class as they nearly had a millenium of ancestry which is the minimum requirement to be of upper class citizenship, indignation swallowing her up, her anger bursts from within and at the same time she cast her skill Pheonix Fire which conjures pheonix fire to burn her target. The pheonix fire didn't even get a chance to properly manifest before they heard another shot going off hitting Ashley on the forehead shaking her brain knocking her unconcious.

~20 minutes later~

Waiting for Ashley to wake up they had already decided that Frederick would lead the group as he had the required strength and brain as everyone from The School of Science are renowned for their great strategic minds. Of course they had moved over to the resting area and had moved Ashley onto the most comfortable area possible, which was just some soft ground that had knee high grass trampled down to make a springy surface similar to a mattress. Another ten minutes later she had finally woken up and immediately she tried to throw another tantrum only to be scolded by the representative of the sect. Calming down she begrudgingly accepted his lead and they departed for their hunt whilst the representatives would wait here, if they really needed the assistance then each of them had been given a different colour of flare:

Warriors Academy - An Earthy brown.

Adventurers Guild - Bright purple.

Nirvana Pheonix Sect - Fiery Red with tinges of orange.

Azure Dragon Sect - Azure.

The School of Science - White (for night time) and black (for daytime).

The holy church - Gold (for night time) and a blood red (for daytime).

At first Michael argued that the church should have gotten the white and black however another shot to the chest quickly convinced him to shut it as although he could heal the bruise he still didn't like to go through the pain.
