A Decade

"Hehe, comprehend... I think, my existence is something that one can call a cheat when it comes to comprehension, is what I had previously said..." Saber muttered while floating with legs crossed in what seemed to be the emptiness of space.

He had been inside the fourth floor trying to comprehend a technique that his master had previously claimed to be the simplest. Yet, even after four months, he had not managed to peer into the secrets of the scroll in his hands.

The worst part was the fact that he had Goldy duplicate the scroll so that every Saber held in their hands this technique as they tried to comprehend it for the past months.

If even soo many Sabers couldn't get even the most basic understanding of the technique after soo much time, Saber had no idea how long it would take to fully learn the whole technique to its completion.

Over the cost of four months, the number of Sabers inside the fourth floor increased from the original few thousand to multiple tens of thousands...! It was a somewhat unbelievable number as it was only possible after raising his strength to a High Level, Level 1 Immortal.

Saber figured that after reaching a Level 2 Immortal, he would be able to surpass the 100,000 mark and be able to produce such an illogical amount of his other-self. This fact was the only piece of good news for the past months.

With so much of his other selves, Saber was intellectually inclined enough to order for a few to exit the Black ring and follow up on the situations in the outside world.

Besides the constant battles taking place throughout the planet, and the sudden appearances of mysteriously large structures that were similar to the football stadiums of a modern-day world, there wasn't much change in the past four months...

Over the past months, many humans rushed to the multiple places on this planet which were labeled as 'Mysterious Domains' or 'Forbidden Zones'.

These regions which were rumored to be the location of the so-called heavenly treasures that could help the rise of one's cultivation were the focus in the minds of those mortals who were desperate to enter the Immortal realms.

It was after the rumor that only Immortals could enter the competition did the situation truly go out of hand.

Of course, many knew that it would be stupid to enter a competition that held Immortal cultivators while still being mortals, but there were of course the few who would still enter even while being mortals.

Throughout the many planets with life inside this Solar System, the situation was similar to the situation on the planet Saber stayed on.

And with only 9 years and 8 months remaining, Saber had no time to laugh at the humans who continuously killed each other so to satiate their greed for power.

With the information from his master, Saber knew that he would have to use only one of his abilities.

For humans, someone capable of manipulating flames, time, and also being able to seemingly devour anything would be too dangerous an existence.

According to Goldy, after revealing these abilities, the higher-ups would be given the information, and his death at the hands of these higher-ups would then be inevitable...!

"Hmm, okay, this doesn't make sense.

You all over there would focus on comprehending this technique, while the rest of us would focus on raising our cultivation...!"

Knowing that he couldn't take the strength of the humans lightly, Saber decided that it would be important to also raise his cultivation base.

With that in mind, he ordered a few thousand of his other selves to comprehend the technique, while the other few thousand would focus on raising his cultivation by absorbing the energy on the fourth floor.

'Plus, if I'm to enter the Level 2 Immortal realm, I'm sure I would surpass my origin!

After all, the time inside the fourth floor moves four times faster than the outside world...'

With a smirk on his face, Saber closed his eyes as he along with a few tens of thousands of other Sabers focused on absorbing the energy on the fourth floor.

.

.

.

BOOM!!!

An extremely loud explosion resounded inside the fourth floor of the tower.

The booming sound startled the hell out of Goldy as his body which lazily floated through space sprang up in alarm.

But it was for only a moment did his expression portray that of alarm. A smirk then found itself on his face when processing the cause of the explosion.

"Such a loud explosion to signal your entrance into the second level of the Immortal realm...

Your strength is probably higher than even some geniuses in 'that' place...!"

Muttering under his breath while gazing at the Saber who excreted the most powerful aura, Goldy then leisurely went back to his normal routine of lazily drifting through the space.

Tsk!

Saber clicked his tongue in annoyance and impatience. He had expected to surpass his origin after reaching the second level of the Earth Immortal realm. Yet, such a thing didn't happen...!

"What the hell is happening inside the towers of hell...?

How can Saber still be moving through realms at a speed quicker than someone who has entered a realm that moves at a faster time...? It isn't as if the difference in potential and talent is different.

After devouring thousands of other Sabers, my talent and potential are basically on the same level as origin Saber...!"

It was obvious from the tone of his voice that Saber currently felt a high level of annoyance when he was somehow still unable to surpass the strength of his origin.

'What must I undergo for me to be free from the fate of a slave. All I want is to have control of my existence, yet everything seems to be going against me...!'

While in a state of anger, Saber approached the massive gathering of Sabers who held scrolls in their hands. Breathing in and calming his nerves, Saber then casually asked.

"It's been more than fifteen years, please tell me that you have improved in comprehending this technique...?"

Even though he tried to hide his excitement when asking his other selves, Saber failed as a smirk formed on the face of the Saber who floated cross-legged in front of him.

Right after, Saber gazed on with expectation while he watched the movements of the figure who held the same features as himself.

Saber gazed on with expectation when seeing his other self lightly pushed into the empty void of space with his palms facing outwards...!

This casual action though went on to cause something quite shocking to happen as Second Saber's expression froze in both shock and excitement...

.

.

.

BOOM!!

The very fabrics of space seemed to have been torn apart whenever the gigantic illusionary palm traveled through the realm.

The collision between two of these illusionary palms was soo devastating that the space inside the fourth floor of the tower seemingly struggled to reform.

Witnessing this devastating power was two figures who seemed to be a replica of each other, while another illusionary figure with long golden hair lazily drifted through space with a slightly annoyed expression on his face.

"Master, don't have that look on your face. We must practice in the case some unexpected circumstances may arise in the tournament...!" Second Saber said while smiling happily after seeing the devastating powers of his technique...
