Jupiter and Saturn.

Jupiter had the unique skill Magic Weaver. A skill that allowed him to seamlessly join spells together. When he had noticed that they had been surrounded out of nowhere with his magic sense he had become serious.

The first thing he had to do was make sure to protect his army. He weaved together all sorts of supporting spells and was quickly protected by his army. He threw a magic distortion and shield spell he had created into the sky just in time to stop the barrage of spells and arrows. And he quickly sent a shield and cold spell to his allies.

It would not only protect the ones marching forward but endue their weapons with a freezing attribute.

At that moment a song that appeared distorted to the attacker's ears began to play. Only the ears of Tempest's citizens could hear the clear music playing.

Benimaru lit his sword with dark flames and pointed it at his enemies with a cruel smile before declaring.

"Let's dance."

The next moment he had disappeared from his location and was now in the midst of the attacking army. Only a moment later did a trail of fire appear on the path that he had taken. The flames weaved left and right passing through the bodies of each and everyone that had been on his path. And not realizing what had killed them their bodies burst into flames as their heads left their bodies. Disappearing from the street moments before they were disintegrated after the streets glowed white for a second.

"Blossom"

Benimaru said before swinging his blade in a circle around him releasing hundreds of black petals that on contact would create a small explosion of black fire that would spread until fully consuming the enemy. Benimaru had a determined face at this moment as he was focussing on not damaging the streets and buildings with his attack. The moment black fire touched a building it would harmlessly disappear, not leaving even a trace of a scorch mark.

Seeing that their attacks had been blocked the army of Tempest that was up in the buildings began to jump down with their weapons ready to destroy anyone in their path. All in perfect harmony.

Jupiter, seeing that his army was in a bad position, began to prepare several plans in his head. But for now, he would make sure to stop the biggest threat he was facing.

Surrounding Benimaru, hundreds of thin ice spears had formed. Each of them launched at high speeds towards him. Benimaru created a sphere of fire around him but that was exactly what Jupiter had expected him to do. All of the spears that had yet to reach Benimaru disappeared and had been transported inside the ball of flames where Benimaru was protecting himself.

This was one of Jupiter's strongest moves, Checkmate Spears. The spears had different hidden effects that would complement each other.

The ball of flames had been dispersed and broken from the inside as lighting, wind, fire, and ice erupted from within it. Revealing Benimaru who was now full of cuts and injuries.

A smirk appeared on Jupiter's face before it turned into a frown. The injuries on Benimaru's body had begun to heal. Realizing that he had to work nonstop until he had been killed or else the enemy would continue to heal Jupiter began another round of magic spells. As long as Benimaru was far away he was at an advantage.

Jupiter created a gigantic multi-elemental spell above him and launched it towards Benimaru. Yet instead of dodging Benimaru launched forward. Pulling out a secondary sword and slashing the spell launched at him.

Yet instead of exploding and destroying the street, the spell was consumed by the sword. The sword he was holding in his left hand was made with Dimeritium. The metal that consumed magicules.

After some testing, it was discovered that this metal had a limit on how many magicules it could consume. And that after reaching that limit it would become unstable and would explode if nothing was done about it. However, a solution was created.

Benimaru had started to advance towards Jupiter in a dance-like pattern, creating a flaming dragon from his sword that would grow with every swing of his sword and with every life he took along the way. Benimaru continued to get closer and closer towards Jupiter, slashing every spell launched in his direction. By now the sword on his left hand was beginning to vibrate indicating it was becoming unstable.

Once Benimaru was near attacking distance of Jupiter he placed the Dimeritium sword parallel to his magic steel sword.

"Release"

All the magicules that had been stored inside the dimeritium sword were released onto the flaming dragon. Not only did they increase the potency of the attack but it also implemented the stored elements. Creating a multi-elemental flaming dragon.

Jupiter had enhanced his speed with a wind spell and was retreating backward as his army was jumping forward to defend him. Yet no matter how many people were jumping to attack the Kijin they were all cut down in one swing.

"Flaming dragon dance"

Seeing as his defeat was imminent he began to cast a space magic spell to retreat. He was sad for the loss of his army, yet if he could leave here alive he would be able to return with Granbell to avenge them. But the moment the space ripples began to form around him he felt a pain in his stomach before the magicules of his spell banished. Looking down he saw a sword that had been thrown sticking through his body, and when he looked up he saw the kijin in front of him.

The very next moment a flame dragon killed not only Jupiter but the rest of the army that was standing behind him.

Saturn looked up to the gigantic figure in front of her.

She had just thrust her spear forward with her unique skill Thermal Conduit active. Yet what should have been a devastating blow that could stab through anything had been stopped in its tracks. A gust of warm wind was generated by the clash.

Thermal Conduit allows Saturn to control the temperatures of objects, and it made her immune to thermal damages. Whether she was placed in a burning hell or a frozen land she would not be affected in the slightest. This effect was activated on contact. She was also capable of protecting items she was touching from being damaged by the changes in temperature.

Her spear appeared to be in a regular state yet it was reaching extremely high temperatures. In fact, the shield being held by the high orc in front of her, Geld, was beginning to show signs of deformation from the heat.

Her people were being slaughtered by the statues and paintings, she had no time to waste by fighting him. She launched a couple of small knives that stuck to the shield Geld held and she dashed to fight some of the statues. She was able to slice through one of the legs of the spider statue before she felt as if she had been hit by a truck.

Geld had just used the slightly deformed shield to bash her with all of his might. The knives that had been stuck to his shield had been thrown on the floor and his hand showed signs of having been burnt.

Saturn stood up and readied her spear.

"Listen, I would love to fight you, but I gotta save my friends now. So if you don't mind, why don't you go away for a bit."

Geld, using his Gourmet skill, created snake-like creatures that would rot anything they touched that launched towards Saturn. Yet, sensing the danger she did her best to dodge them. She wasn't sure what they would do yet they seemed to track her every move. Taking a look at the gigantic spider that was now struggling to walk she jumped and used it as a shield.

The spider began to break into pieces and was consumed by the skill, giving her allies some much-needed breathing room.

"Everyone! Retreat! I will stay back" She had correctly judged that they stood no chance of winning.

Her best advantage was her speed, so she was able to dodge the strikes of the slower Geld with no problem. She was attempting to buy time for her army to retreat and she would stay back as a distraction. She had in her hand a special weapon she had developed with her skill. An extremely dangerous weapon that she would only use during emergencies. A weapon she feared since it had almost taken her life when she first tried to create it.

She threw the object towards where the highest concentration of paint monsters was and then an explosion was heard.

*Booooom*

What she had just thrown had created a thermal explosion that had destroyed most of the paint monsters and statues in the area, opening a window for her army to retreat. A chance they had taken leaving only Saturn, Geld, and a few statues in bad shape.

"Staying behind to let your army escape, I won't deny it. I can respect that." Geld said to her.

Yet he had omitted the fact that escape was useless, the direction that her army had retreated to would only lead them to an ambush in which they would be surrounded and killed, leaving no survivors.

"Well big guy, looks like it's just the two of us now." said Saturn with a weak smile before jumping towards Geld.

Yet she quickly discovered she wouldn't be able to hit him. His entire body was covered in the rot aura, so the moment her spear would hit it would begin to be consumed. She was jumping left and right dodging the rot snakes and she had only one thought in her head.

'This is it isn't it?'

She knew Granbell could bring her back to life if he got here shortly. But after seeing firsthand how strong Tempest was, and hearing the screams in the distance, she knew they had been stupid. It sounded ridiculous back then to think of a nation filled with name monsters, but now she was seeing evidence of that with her eyes.

"Hey, big guy. What's your name?" She asked while continuously dodging the rot snakes and Geld's attacks.

"The name my lord has given me is Geld." Geld answered while slashing with his blade.

"Nice to meet you Geld. They call me Saturn, but my real name is Zaus. Tell me, are my people going to be able to escape?"

Geld looked at her hopeless face, and because of the small amount of respect he had for her, he answered her.

"No."

She gave out a sigh before she jumped to get in front of Geld, letting herself get struck by the rot snakes in order to get as close as possible to her opponent.

"Well, Geld, it was nice meeting you. Had I known things would go this way I would have never attacked. But it is too late to cry over spilled milk. My only regret is leading my people to their deaths. Goodbye Geld." Her eyes had lost all hope

She jumped and gave Geld a tight hug, not letting him retreat even the slightest bit as she activated all the "Grenades" she had left. And the very next moment a huge explosion happened.

Geld was left standing on a ruined part of town. His armor had been destroyed by the explosion yet he still stood strong. He had wished to become a guardian to the orcs, and his wish was granted with the unique skill Guardian. It was thanks to its defensive capabilities that he was able to tank the attack. Leaving him alone in a destroyed district. Few people would have lived through that explosion, Geld was one of them.

"Goodbye Zaus"

Not gonna lie, I kinda feel bad for Zaus. But not all "Bad guys" are necessarily bad. Some just follow directions. Hopefully, you liked the chapter.

See ya
