Odetta

I left the elemental kingdom immediately I wasted time already. Grand father promised me a tour next time I come to the kingdom. I teleport back to the demon kingdom appearing in the library. I opened the library door and head to Orion study, which is like a second room to him if you ask me. He is always there. I entered the study as usual he is surrounded with scrolls.

'Hey, you are back. You spend so much time in that library' Orion said dropping the scroll he was reading.

'Their are so many fascinating books in the library' I said taking a sit. He rubbed his forehead.

'You okay? You looked stressed' I said.

'Oh nothing to worry about. Just kingdom matters' he replied picking a scroll beside him and reading what is inside. I decided to help him, I saw some old scrolls I picked them up. Then I opened them up and started reading. According to this scroll the villagers has been missing and this was sent 3 months ago! I checked other scrolls they are all have the same complaints. Why has Orion not attended to this? A lot of people has been missing! I stood up I carried the scrolls with me.

'Orion why have you not attended to these scrolls? I asked giving him the scrolls. He read the scrolls.

'What are these?, were did you see them from? He asked.

'It was that corner' I said pointing to the corner.

'This are not supposed to be here. I have a general attending to public matters. So he has been dumping the scrolls here?. Guards!!' Orion yelled beginning to get angry. The guards rushed in bowing.

'Yes your Majesties' they said in unison.

'Get all the generals and my advisors. Tell them to be in the throne room in 5 minutes or else!!' He yelled.

'Yes your majesty' one of the guards said bowing then he disappeared.

'You pick all these scrolls and follow me' he told the other guard. The guard quickly came and picked the scroll then Orion stormed out. I followed beside him. He is very temperamental from what I'm seeing. And from the way the guards are shaking this is not the first time Orion is getting this angry, but it is not something they are used to. All the guards were shaking as Orion passed, the tension was high. I could feel the power radiating off him. Orion did not bother allowing the guards opening the door he stormed inside, all the general and royal advisors were there already but most of them in there casual clothes, immediately they all bow. Orion did not sit on his throne but I sat on mine looking at the elders calmly. If Orion is angry I should be the one calming him down as his queen. It won't be good if I am also angry.

'Greetings Your Majesties!' They chorus. Orion did not answer he was just pacing. The men were shaking, the tension was increasing. Then he suddenly turned making the men flinch.

'General Seth!' He yelled facing the men.

'Yes Your Majesty' the general said coming out of the crowd full of men. He was shaking.

'Tell me your other duty to the king except being a general?' He said looking at the general.

'My king, my d..du..duty Is too handle the co..complains of the kingdom' he said shaking and stammering a little bit.

'And what else?' Orion said impatiently tapping his foot. All the men were sweating at this point not because of his foot but because of the black beam coming out from his body and his eyes that is becoming more red.

'Your Majesty pl…ple..please calm down' a man said.

'You telling me to calm down?' He asked in a very calm manner.

'N..no Yo..your Ma...jesty' he replied shakingly. Then all of a sudden they are look at me expecting me to calm him down. I look straight at them because I will not be doing such.

'Answer the question general' Orion said very calm. This is calm before the storm because Orion looks very angry.

'Y..you s..s..said i.if the is.iss..issue is t.too much t..to handle I sh..should re..report to y..you y..our ma..majesty' he said shaking and stammering and he is also sweating a lot.

'And did you do that?' He asked still very calm.

'N..no yo..your ma..majesty' he replied.

'Guards hand over the scrolls to him' Orion said. The two guards dropped the scrolls, the general picked the scroll up with shaky hands and started reading the scrolls. As he read the scrolls he turns more white.

'I gave you simple instructions to fulfil and you have not been doing anything! A lot of demons has been missing for months, nobody informed me! Innocents as been deing, what do you have to say for yourselves!' He yelled angrily. The men was sweating so bad and was looking at me to calm him down.

'Nobody has an answer!' He yelled asking, nobody talk they were all just bowing and trying to avoid eye contact. Orion got more angry then suddenly he started changing. Two read horns came out of his head, the horns were fat and long. His hair becoming more longer and very black. He became more taller with black big wings coming out from his back. His wings is like 7 feet long and 3 feet wide. His skin changed to a pale red colour. His eyes became more red with his fangs coming out and looking very long and sharp. His tail was very long and red. He just changed to his demon! The men gasp. Moving backwards.

'M…my q..qu..queen pl…' the general could not complete his sentence has Orion speed towards him claws appearing from his hands he strike the general in his stomach. Blood was gushing out of the groaning general.

'Your Majesty plea..please!!!' The other men screamed they were shaking. But Orion did not listen he took the general by his neck then threw him into the wall. Orion moved closer he took his claw hands up coming him to strike the general again but I stood up and quickly walked over to them. I held his hand, the bond bloom at the sparks. The raging demon king looked back at me.

'Calm down Orion' I said. He didn't drop his hands he is still looking angry. I looked at the general memory. I found out that he spends his days mostly in the brothel. He doesn't have a companion but he likes to go to brothel and drink to stupor instead of handling his duty.

'General Seth, you are here by stripped of your title and your wealth, elders see to it that general Seth is taking care off' I said.

'Yes Your Majesty' they chorused. Some of the other generals came and picked up the bleeding general. Then they all rushed out. I turn to my demon mate.

'Orion' I called out standing in front of him. He replied me with a snarl fangs out. Then he moved back looking ready to attack me? He was looking at me like a prey.

'Orion what is wrong with you!' I yelled surprised, does he really want to attack me? I am his mate.

'This is not Orion, this is Sebastian his demon, who are you!' He said snarling. His voice was very deep and animalistic like.

'Ori.. No Sebastian I am Odetta your mate calm down' I said calmy with my hands out. I could fight this demon if I wanted to but he is my mate also I can not hurt him. Orion did say his demon does not recognize me as his mate.

'Mate? You are not my mate. You are a liar!' He yelled and he flew up and fly towards me with his claws out. He is attacking me! He got closer coming in for a strike I quickly moved back but his claws scratch my face. Something was in my back so I fell down but I quickly stand up if he corner me on the floor he will injure me bad.

'Sebastian calm down and give Orion control, I am your mate' I said. I really don't want to fight this demon.

'Shut up!' He yelled. Then he punched me right in my face and threw me in the wall. There was a loud crack as I collided with the wall. That is it! I got so angry I used my powers and hit him in the stomach. He fly to the wall his stomach bleeding. I didn't stop I teleport to him and hit him in the face, I disappeared and teleport to his side and hit him on his rib. I keep on punching him in different places the demon was snarling in pain but I already lost myself in anger. It was when I saw myself in a cracked mirror, I saw my reflection. My hair was having golden speks and one of my eyes was red. Oh no I am changing back because of my anger, I quickly tried to stop being angry. I close my eyes and breath in and breath out. I continue this for a while I opened my eyes I was back to my normal self. Thank the lord, then suddenly something hit me throwing me in the wall. He just hit me with his tail. This time around I did not fight back, I calm down. This demon does not recognize me as his mate how can I make him recognize me? I thought. Then I got an idea.
