Chapter 20

Odetta

I got an idea.

'Louisa' I called out internally. She did not answer. I roll my eyes. Louisa is my wolf. Every supernatural that can change to another form can talk to that form if they choose too. I only talk to Louisa once in a blue moon, she is usually asleep until I decide to shift. She is there at the same time not there. The last time I talked to her was when I was 14 years old.

'Louisa!!' I yelled.

'Yes!, Yes! I am up, stop screaming!' She yelled back rolling her wolf eyes. This is why we don't talk all the time she is too sassy. Two sassy people in a conversation is just somehow.

'You have been asleep for years! Stop being lazy and help me here your mate is about to kill me!' I yelled

'Mate?, I have a mate' she said.

'Yes stupid you have a mate, if you have not been sleeping for years you would have known that!, is your nose not functioning or someone has cut it off in your sleep!' I snap. Then I felt a strike in my back, I turned back. Oh no not again I totally forgot about him.

'Louisa!!!' I screamed. Then my stupid wolf started sniffing the air.

'Hey stop calling me stupid!' She yelled. Sebastian was about to attack me again. But I moved back.

'Odet I can't smell him very well, I am just smelling multiple blood' she said. That blood should be mine, Sebastian and that general.

'Okay let us shift, you take care of your mate. Good bye' I said and I quickly shift to my very big and brown wolf. My wolf is supposed to be golden but since my hair is currently brown that means my wolf is brown. My wolf is very very big. It is bigger than the werewolf king wolf.

'Coward!!' Louisa screamed as I shifted. It has been long so it was a little bit painful.

Louisa

I am Louisa, Odet wolf. I have been sleeping for years, Odet and I don't really talk all the time. I decided to go to rest and just appear when Odet need me because I was still mourning my father, Mario. Odet quickly got over her father but I didn't it took me years. The bond I formed with my father is different from the bond Odet formed with her father. Both Alex and Mario is My father but Mario is a wolf so I am, which makes me closer to him as Odet is closer to Alex. What I do know is having a mate never crossed my mind. I didn't know I would have a mate one day. Standing on my paws I looked at my 'mate'. My demon mate, in my wolf form I could smell him from miles away. He stopped snarling and he looked at me. I don't know how it will be with a demon and a wolf being mates though. We both stood there looking at each other, I guess since he stopped snarling that means he finally recognise us as his mate. I walked closer to him when I got closer to him he bent down and placed his hand on my fur. I could feel the sparks. The spark is mind blowing.

'Mate, so you are truly my mate' he said. I nod my wolfy head.

'Can you change back to your human' he said. I nod again and lick his cheeks. He rubbed the fur at the back of my ears. Awolf licking her mate's cheeks is like a kiss. I howl before changing back.

Odetta

After Louisa talked to Sebastian she changed back. I stood up. I hope he is more calm now. I thought. Then I fell arms around my neck, he was hugging me!

'I am so sorry mate. My lord, I injured you!' He said. He pulled back then he started checking me all over. I laughed

'Don't worry about it Sebastian, I also injured you but I am fine as you can see I am a wolf I have healing ability' I said smiling. He smiled back.

'What is your name mate and why couldn't I recognise you as my mate? He questioned.

'My name is Odetta and about the recognition it is a long story. If you don't mind can you change back to Orion?' I asked. He chuckled a little bit which sounds very weird in my ears.

'Sure he has been screaming not to hurt you that you are our mate but I am sorry I did not listen' he said looking apologetic.

'No problem Sebastian,' I replied. Then he kissed my forehead and changed to Orion. I looked into my mate's red eyes which looked a little worried.

'Odet! Are you okay? I am so sorry he gets out of control sometimes,' he said, touching my cheeks which had a little blood on it.

'It is okay. But you have to learn how to control your anger, Orion. Those men were really looking scared. What did you do the last time you got angry that your demon had to resurface? I asked. Then he suddenly looked guilty.

'The last time I got that angry I killed two of the guards' he said.

'You killed him, like removed his heart?' I asked.

'Yes I removed his heart' he replied. I sigh, rubbing my forehead.

``We both need to work on our anger, especially you,' I said.

'Well that is why I have you to calm I and my demon down' he replied smiling. I laughed.

'Come on let us go this place is a mess' I said. We left the throne room with Orion telling one of the guards to clean it up. What I did not know is that someone was hiding the whole time watching us.
