Chapter 15

Odetta

    It has been a few days since i saw Margaret inside Orion study. Since then i have not seen or heard anything from her which is good. I decided to visit the elemental kingdom to see king Titus. We have a lot to discuss. I went to the library and closed the door using my magic to seal it so nobody can enter. I teleport to the elemental kingdom.

  The elemental kingdom is just like any normal kingdom but what made it stand out among other kingdoms is the statues. Some statue are made of rock and Some are made of water. The water statue you can put your hand inside and you hand will be wet but no single water drops on the floor. Their are so many statues and water fountain in the kingdom. I was in elemental kingdom when i was around 11 years old I remember how i always play with the water. After the fae's elemental kingdom has to be my favourite.

   I got to the castle invisible might i had. I passed through the guards and used my powers to locate king Titus. I am still calling him king Titus because the both of us are not close enough for me to call him grandfather. I located him he was in a room i used my werewolf power to sense if he has someone with him in the study. But i was only hearing one beating heart, so i entered through the wall. He was sitting on a chair looking at some scrolls their was a cup of lemon tea beside him.

'Hello King Titus' I said appearing in his front. The old man was not even scared. I rolled my eyes. He looked up at me smiling, never knew he could smile.

'Odetta welcome, I have been expecting you for days now, sit' he said gesturing his hand to a seat in front of him. I took my sit.

'So what did you want to talk about?' I asked.

'Before I start, tea? He asked. I shook my head no.

'Okay from beginning then. Your mother as you know is my daughter, my successor. I had two wives a fae and an elemental. The fae is my first wife the elemental is my second. Queen Lucia which is the fae never wanted children, and she didn't want to birth one. I talked to her and begged her she refused. You know how fae women are with their body. But Lucia own was way more worse. A lot of supernaturals don't associate themselves with fae's in terms of mating and birthing except the fae who is willing to birth but those type of fae are hard to come across. So moving on when i was still a young prince i fell in love with Melissa the second queen. But Melissa came from a normal background I mean a middle class family. Father is the type of man that consider women as treasure for his bed, but he also like women who come from a very powerful family. So my father did not accept Melissa, he decided to get me a wife. My father went wife hunting. He had a friend in the fae kingdom, it was a man. I don't know why he had a male fae as friend since nobody take them seriously, but he did. 

   So the man his name was Castor, he was a powerful fae. He had a daughter who is Lucia, who apparently was 'in love' with me. She told her father Castor to tell my father that she will love to marry me. My father agreed because afterall she came from a powerful family and she is powerful. I begged my father to reconsider I also reminded him of the fact that fae women don't like to birth. But Lucia promise to birth my father was delighted. Then he fixed our marriage. I had to choice. After getting married 50 years passed by Lucia was bent on not birthing and spoiling her body. At that time i was not the king yet but father was hoping after Lucia birth then i can be the king. Father started regretting his decisions. He spoke to Lucia and her father but Lucia refused. Father didn't want the situation where he will chase Lucia away as Lucia already formed her own army in the palace. If he chased her we would have been in war with the fae's.

   I personally begged Lucia that she should birth so i can be king so she can be the queen and she will have more power. She immediately fell in love with the idea of being more powerful but she proposed an idea of me taking another wife. And that was what i did, i took Melissa my first love as my wife. Father wanted to refuse but i reminded him of what happened the first time. Know that Melissa was not my mate. After taking her as my wife 2 years later she birth your mother and we named her hathor. The kingdom was happy that finally we have a successor. My father was also happy that after a month of her birth I became king. With 2 queens' he paused looking at me.

 'Go on Why did you stop? I asked as i was already intrigued by the story. He laughed at my eagerness. He cleared his throat and drank his tea.

'Okay so going on. For 10 years the palace and kingdom was somewhat peaceful. You see your mother was very beautiful as a child, she had this aura around her that just make everyone love her. Lucia was not happy with that. As time goes on everyone was forgetting the first queen. They only wanted the second queen and the beautiful princess. People loved Melissa she was kind, calm, and very elegant. Lucia only cared about herself and her beauty. But people stopped fawning over her beauty. The only person who liked Lucia was my father. But as time goes on he also took a liking to Melissa. Lucia became bitter but nobody gave a thought about it. As hathor grow she became more beautiful and Lucia became more bitter as she was completely forgotten. 

  At some point it looked liked i had only one queen. When your mother was 150 years old Melissa caught a terrible disease which caused her death. Nobody knows where the disease came from but it had no antidote. The kingdom mourn Melissa. Everyone was affected by her death except Lucia. She was glowing while everyone was mourning but nobody gave a thought. After some time the kingdom was going back to how it was because we all still have our princess. It was time for your mother to get married. Suitors where coming from different kingdom's to marry the famous elemental princess but your mother refused every single one. 

     There was this particular man his name is Ryder who wanted to marry your mother at all cost. He was a vampire, but your mother kept on refusing him. Eventually he got angry and wanted to harm your mother but your father saved her I banished him from entering the kingdom. Your mother and father found out they were mates nobody knew except Lucia who caught them. But she kept quiet. Their bond was forbidden as your father was an hybrid. But that didn't stop them from meeting. Eventually your mother got pregnant and the whole kingdom found out. I was angry and disappointed at your mother but she was still my daughter that i cherish. We were planning on how we will hide your mother and you from the council as we all know the child will come out tribrid. But Lucia already informed Ryder who she was having an affair with. And Ryder told the council' he said and I gasped. Grandfather nod his head multiple times a faraway look in his eye. He was reliving the memories.
