Fiancee?

[An: Back to Adam's POV]

When I turn to face my classmates, I saw them with their jaws on the floor, shock about what just happened.

The thing I feared the most didn't happen.

They still have the same attitude before. They still see me as their classmates, they still saw me as a human being. I guess I was worried for nothing.

This made me genuinely smile.

I didn't even remember the last time I smile this happily. It made me even teared up a bit. After getting out of the pool. I approached them.

"What was that Adam, that was so cool!" Ryota said.

"Oh, that? it was nothing, I'm awesome arent I?" I said with a smug.

"Tsk,"

Ryuji just getting out of the pool, clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"Jealous?" I teased him.

"Shut it," Ryuji said.

"Oh, Don't be like that, Since I stole the spotlight from you I'll treat you late-"

before I even finished...

"Hey, Tobio, Mori(Takashi's nickname), after school we're going to the cafe, it's Adam's treat," Ryuji called the two.

"Hmm? Sure," Takashi nodded.

"Really? thanks," Tobio said.

"When did I invite those two?" I said to Ryuji.

"You didn't, I just want to reduce the points you earn,"

"You fucker," I said while glaring at him.

While I and Ryuji and the boys are bantering, the girls also have their conversation.

"That was unbelievable fast," Mai said, still surprised about what she saw.

"Hm, I don't think any students can beat that," Saeko agreed.

"I don't think even athletes can beat that," Utaha said.

Saya approaches the macho and asked a question.

"Sensei, what's the best record for swimming for 50 meters," Saya asked the macho.

"If you're asking the school's best record for the fastest swim then it's 20.84 sec. If you're asking about the world record then... it's 17.12-sec. Adam beat that record with a 1.22-sec difference," Macho said while staring in my direction.

The girls gasped.

"is that true sensei," Utaha said, finding his words unbelievable.

"Hm, If I didn't witness this first hand, I wouldn't believe it either," Sensei nodded.

"Um, sensei what's going to happen to Adam's record?" Saya asked worriedly.

"It will be the best record for the school, but it will not change the world record since this is unofficial. It will be a secret to the world, for now," Sensei said with seriousness in his voice.

Without even letting the girls process the words he said...

"Alright, That's enough for today, you guys change into your school uniform and return to class. Busujima and Kirusu, you will receive your points later," Sensei dismissed the class.

After we change into our school uniform, we went to class. The girls were quite absent-minded which confused me. Not bothering them I just waited for the class to end.

"What's the meaning of this?" I said to Ryuji with slight irritation in my voice.

What's in front of me are my classmates. The reason that I was pissed is that apparently, I'm going to treat these two bastards in the cafe.

"The more the merrier," He said, shrugging.

"You two will pay for your food," I said to Ryota and Tetsuya.

"Oh, come on, don't be like that," Tetsuya said while putting his arms around my neck.

"Don't worry, we will pay for our food, just ignore that idiot," Ryota said.

"Thank God for that, anyway boys, let's go," I said.

After we reach the gates of the school we were stopped by Honami with Utaha, Tsukasa(Ayatsuji's first name if you forgot), Saya, and weirdly enough, Saeko.

"Can we come too?" Honami said.

"Sure, the more the merrier, BUT, you girls will pay for your own," I said while highlighting that I'm not treating anyone else.

"Hehe, don't worry we won't ask for anything," Tsukasa said while giggling.

"Well, where do you guys are going anyway?" Utaha asked.

"We're going to Palate if you're girls are fine with that," Ryuji said.

"Oh, that cafe? I heard it's quite popular," Honami said.

"Hm, we want to check it out to see what's the fuss all about," I said.

"I didn't know you have an interest in that kind of stuff, Kirusu-kun," Honami said.

I just smiled at her without saying anything. The main reason why I choose that cafe is, that is usually the place where class 1-D Kikyo Kushida hangs out with her classmates. And as for the reason why I want to investigate her a bit.

"Do you girls still want to invite anyone?" Ryuji asked.

"Well, I do have some people in mind, I'll ask them if they want to join us," Honami said while running back to the classroom.

After a while, she returned with two girls following behind her. Looking at the girls, I was surprised. The girls she decided to bring along is Yukino, my neighbor(I forgot to mention this in the early chapters), and the other one Is Rei(If you don't remember either of them, return to chapter 5).

"Sorry to keep you guys from waiting, I bring Miyamoto-san and Yukinoshita-san, " Honami said.

"Sorry if we suddenly decided to join," Rei apologizes. While Yukino just nodded at me. which I return the gesture.

"It's okay, I'm the one who invites both of you to come anyway," Honami said while shaking her head.

"Alright since everyone is here, let's go,"

I lead the group to the cafe. Because of our large group, we attract a lot of attention from other class and our senpais. Although it's bothering the others, I just ignore it.

Arriving at our destination, the cafe is already quite full of students from all years but since the cafe is quite big, even with our big group, we didn't have any trouble finding seats. We decided to split up into two groups with 6 guys and 7 girls. Since finding a table with 13 seats is not available in this cafe.

The classmates I bring with me Include:

Boys: Me, Ryuji, Tobio, Takashi, Tetsuya, and Ryota.

Girls: Honami, Utaha, Tsukasa, Saya, Saeko, Rei, and Yukino.

Taking a seat at our table, we decided to order. Just like I promised earlier, I paid for Ryuji, Tobio, and Takashi's orders. while Ryota and Tetsuya paid theirs.

Our table is a few tables away from the girls so we have a bit of a problem with communicating with them.

I look around to find the person I'm looking for but I couldn't find Kushida or any of her classmates.

'they're still not here, Huh?' I thought to myself.

To kill time, I decided to ask Tobio a question.

"Tobio, how's the volleyball club?" I asked.

I'm not particularly interested in the club, the purpose of my question is to gather information about each club and since Tobio is a member of the volleyball club I decided to ask him. Since knowing which people to look out for this early in the game will give me an advantage.

"The volleyball club of this school is much more impressive than my previous school. Although my senpais are a bit strict, overall they are good to me," Tobio said while smiling a bit.

(The Tobio in this fanfic will be more sociable and less serious compare to his canon counterpart.)

"That's good to know, If you ever found yourself in trouble make sure to let us know," I said.

Although I wanted to ask more I decided not to.

"Hmm," He nodded.

"What about you Mori? Joined any club yet?" Ryuji asked Takashi.

"No, not yet, I am interested in joining the kendo club though," He answered.

"Oh, why kendo specifically?" Tetsuya asked.

"Well, I used to do kendo ever since I was a kid," He answered.

"I see, well, knowing you're the type of guy who is usually silent, I guess kendo is perfect for you," Tetsuya said.

"Oh yeah, isn't Busujima-san also liked to join the kendo club? don't tell me..." Ryota said while whispering.

"Stop it you idiot," Tetsuya said while knocking his head.

"No, it's not that, actually I already have a fiancee," He said, surprising the five of us.

"What!" Tetsuya shouted gathering the attention of the people around us.

"Quiet down, you're disturbing the other students," Ryuji said.

Realizing his mistake, he apologized.

"Getting back on topic, If you don't mind sharing how old are you exactly when you were engaged," I asked him.

"I don't mind, but it's complicated, the only thing I could tell you guys is that it was an arranged marriage," He answered with slight discomfort in his voice.

"I see, I'm sorry for asking," I apologize, noticing the discomfort in his voice

"it's ok," He said while shaking his head.

We are still new to each other's company so that's why it's quite awkward.

'Fiancee, Huh? I wonder in the future if I could find someone I would call my fiancee,' I thought while thinking of the smile of someone.

Shaking my head to remove the unnecessary thoughts, I decided to just enjoy the moment...

(An: I just realized that some of the characters age is doesn't match with their years. Like Takashi which in the anime is a third-year. That's why I want to clarify my mistake that all of their age(Which includes the Mc) will be 16 instead of 17. To make sure not to confuse the future readers I will update the earlier chapters.
