Chapter 11: Where Am I Now?

Saiba wakes up in another unknown room. He tries to sit up, but a stinging pain coming from his chest stops him. He checks and sees bandages wrapped all around his upper body.

He flashes back to his battle with Ragnis. He remembers the claw swipe that most likely caused his wound. He also remembers when he was swallowed by Ragnis, however, all events after that are missing.

He suddenly starts feeling his body to make sure he hasn't turned into a ghost. He calms down and mumbles to himself,

"I should be dead..."

Saiba scans the room and notices Lily kneeling on the ground to the right of Saiba. She is laying her head on the bed and sleeping like a baby. Lily starts to move a little as her eyes start to open up as well. She lets out a loud yawn before noticing you and freezing on the spot. Her expressions becomes an annoyed one, as she shouts,

"You really made me worry! Idiot!"

Saiba looks back at her with and awkwardly smiles. Her angry cowl quickly turns into shy one as she whispers,

"Well... I'm glad you're okay at least..."

Saiba turns back to normal and asks Lily,

"Anyways, can you tell me what happened after I went inside the wolf's mouth?"

Lily's look also returns to normal, as she answers,

"O-Oh that! Well... A-After you got eaten, I-I had to use a secret skills that no-one know about! Yep, that's it! And then I used the skills to beat the Ragnis!"

Her nervous tone clearly revealed her lies, however, her nervousness was no match for Saiba's stupidity as he believed every single word she said. Saiba smiles innocently while saying,

"Thanks for saving me again! I owe you two now!"

Lily replies shyly,

"Don't worry about it..."

Saiba looks to his left, out a window, and sees a bustling town filled with energetic people. Brick buildings line the streets and there are multiple pig-themed decorations strewn around the area. Saiba is awestruck as he asks Lily,

"Hey Lily, are we in Hogback Town?"

Lily answers,

"Oh yeah. We got here last night actually."

Saiba's eyes fill with curiosity as he announces,

"Alright! Time to explore!"

He bolts out of bed, completely ignoring the pain from his injury.

He walks over to a table where his armor is, so that he can put it on. He looks down and he becomes pale. The chestplate for his armor has been completely split in half. He is speechless while he frantically tries to put it back together.

He looks over at Lily with tears in his eyes while holding both pieces of the destroyed armor. He says, holding back his sadness,

"M-My armor...."

Lily looks at him with a judging glare,

"Are you really gonna cry over that? Before that, you shouldn't even be getting out of bed! ...On second thought, I probably couldn't stop you even if I tried... Follow me, I'll take you to the place where you can get it fixed."

Saiba's cheers up and he has a big smile on his face. Lily takes the lead, as she walks out of the room towards their destination. Saiba follows intently, determined to get his armor fixed.
