Chapter 15.

"From day one haters are on my.....'

The people started to gather around the marine base when they heard a commotion inside the base. They heard many painful grunts and the sound of a bullet. They became interested so they came in however the fear of the captain was still here so they didn't go inside the base soon.

The captain whose name was Morgan was terrible. He used to harass the townspeople by collecting money from them and killing whoever he finds rebelling against himself. He loved his son greatly but he also was mad at him for being a weakling.

He was ruling this town with an iron fist by capturing anybody who goes against the rules set by him. Many times he had even hurt teenagers just because they had laughed in his presence.

The people around him even tried to contact the higher-ups in the marines but they never received any kind of help from them. Instead, those people were either killed or got crippled by Morgan.

The reality of this world is far more terrifying than shown in the anime. It's not a happy ending world if you are weak. You would be used and thrown outside without any care.

While this whole commotion was happening the other marines were trying to not let the people's in the base. Some of the marines were even using a bamboo shaft to control the overflowing people. These marines were all good-hearted so they didn't want to use a gun against their people. The crowd knew it that's why they were not using force either to go in the base

As the people were gathering a shadow jumped on the wall of the base without anyone knowing. The shadow went inside the base without any problem because the marines were busy dealing with the townspeople.

The shadow was our lovely Nami who has arrived on the scene. She got the perfect time to clean the whole base without anyone finding her. When she was earlier here she saw many valuable things but she couldn't take them with her otherwise the marines would have known however now the things have changed.

She saw many bags of money which might have been taken by the captain of this base. She was not dumb enough to leave this money here. With the money, she took many more things like jewellery.

She has gotten at least ten million berries from this without adding the price of this jewellery. Though she was going to leave this jewellery here for the townspeople. She was not a black-hearted woman after all.

The marines wanted to keep it secret that their Captain has been crippled and his son has also git crippled. They don't want the people to let loose just because they didn't have their captain any more.

When Nami was cleaning the base Zoro and Luffy were going to that small pub. Zoro wanted to meet the little girl again and Luffy wanted to eat something. They completely ignored the crowd which had formed because of their actions. The crowd didn't pay attention to them either because of the constant yelling.

Luffy sensed Nami inside the building but didn't say anything. Though Zoro took notice that his Captain was looking at that base again.

While they were walking towards the pub Luffy notices two people on the other road. They were Makino and Coby who were wandering around the town. Zoro didn't recognise anyone of them so he kept his mouth shut however he could tell that the woman in front of him is dangerous.

It was his instincts which he had developed during many battles to the death and they were never wrong.

The duo of Makino and Coby came towards them. Makino hugged Luffy while resting her head on his chest and Luffy rubbed her back. The people around them got in an awkward situation as they are not used to see such public affection.

They both separated before Luffy gave her a quick kiss on the lips. Zoro and Coby went to a different side as they don't want to disturb them. They both know that this couple was dangerous. After some time of showing his affection to her, they both looked at Zoro and Coby.

"Who is he, Luffy?"

Makino asked while inspecting the green-haired swordsman. At her question, Coby looked at him with an intense gaze because he reminded him of someone he has heard somewhere.

"He would be our swordsman and the first commander of my grand fleet. He is the famous demon hunter Zoro".

Luffy replied to her while patting Zoro on the back. Zoro only gave her a nod because he doesn't like to talk much. Makino also gave him a nod because he was not speaking any rubbish.

Coby looked at Zoro with an astonished expression because he heard how powerful he was and how he used to kill people however some duration he became normal again because of the two other members of the crew.

When he was with them he understood the true nature of the marines. He saw the horror of the justice he wanted to serve but that didn't make him stop becoming a marine. He would climb the rank of the marines and would change this evil system. The marines were made to protect the public so they should protect them.

They all went to the pub where the little girl was. They ordered the food for themselves while Zoro talked to the girl. The girl was looking at Luffy with a sparkling eye which made him pat her on the head. The girl squealed in delight.

The mother thanked the four of them because every one of them has saved her daughter at least once. She was scared when her daughter was about to get eaten but the woman saved her.

The little girl told them how Zoro has saved her life when she had unexpectedly made fun of that guy who was the owner of the dog. Zoro made a promise to him and git tied up in the base for two days with no food or water.

After hearing her the other people realised that Zoro was not a bad person. It was just rumoured which had been spread by the marines and the people. Makino nodded at him again because of his selfless attitude. Luffy already knew the story so he didn't say anything.

Zoro was embarrassed when the people in the pub started to look at him with so much gratitude. He didn't like this much spotlight so he started to eat his food again which made the little girl laugh because he was eating too fast.

When this was happening the four of the bar opened and a shadow came inside. She said

"Luffy I have decided to."
