I'm Batman (HP Xover)

Just shortly after a 10-year-old Bruce Wayne lost his parents to an armed robber in a dark alleyway, a stray bullet somehow managed to lodge itself in the now orphaned young billionaires chest, killing him shortly after his mother and father. A new Bruce Wayne is born from the ashes of this tragedy and he knows a lot about this new world he’s just entered. Oh, and this is a Harry Potter crossover too. (A/N: I’m back and I’m nervous. [I take your power stones and I give you another riddle. No google allowed. I'm watching you. Which is heavier: a ton of sand or a ton of feathers? Answer at the end once again]

*bang!*

The bullet shoots out of the barrel and pierces Joe Chill's forehead, carving its way through his brain and breaking out of the backside of his skull, embedding itself into the floor.

Brain matter paints the hardwood floor along with splatters of blood.

The kick of the gun jerks Bruce backward once again as Chill's body falls and stays unmoving in the center of the living room.

Looking at his handiwork, Bruce felt nothing but relief that everything was finished without any losses.

He felt no remorse, shock, sadness, or any other similar emotion he'd thought he may feel after killing someone. Especially due to the up-close and personal way he's just done it.

'Huh? Movies and books really made this sound like a mentally crushing experience, but I feel perfectly fine? Maybe I'm in shock?' Bruce thought as he looked around the room and saw the dead bodies strewn about the room.

Everyone had bled out and now only him as Alfred were left.

Striding across the room, Alfred snatches the gun from Bruce's grip and brings him into a tight hug. He thought Bruce was in shock as well and wanted to comfort him.

"I told you to wait in the car." Alfred says as he squeezes Bruce a little tighter.

"If I listened to what you said then you'd be in much worse shape right now or dead like them." Bruce replies and motions around the room.

Breaking his hold on Bruce, Alfred looks around the room and then bows in Bruce's direction.

"Then It seems I owe you my life, Master Bruce. Thank you." Alfred shows his appreciation.

"It's fine Alfred. Just stick with me and we're even." Bruce says amicably.

"Of course, Master Bruce." Alfred smiles warmly and then rips a piece of his shirt and ties it around his bleeding leg. "We should leave before any police show up. Who knows who heard the gunshots and called them in."

"Okay, but we should burn this place down. There's too much evidence left behind." Bruce says as he collects the alcohol bottles their victims were drinking earlier.

Pouring them onto the floor and the dead bodies, Bruce turns to Alfred, who was staring at him weirdly.

"What? You bled all over this place. It needs to be done. Now go and look in the kitchen and garage. Find some more things to help us burn this place to ashes." Bride shoos Alfred away as he opens another bottle of liquor and begins dumping it all over the place.

A few minutes later, Bruce and Alfred stood outside the front door and threw a lit match into the house.

Instantly the place caught fire and spread so fast that the entire house was burning within seconds.

"Alright, good work." Bruce says as he turns and walks away. "Let's go home. I want to take a nice warm bath after all of that. My shoulder hurts from that gun as well."

"Shall I book a masseuse for you tomorrow, Master Bruce?" Alfred asks as he follows along and sees Bruce rubbing his shoulder.

"Yeah, that sounds good."

As they were driving away from the scene of the crime, the light of the burning house lit up the area as a large amount of black smoke rose into the sky.

After driving for a bit, a line of cop cars and a huge fire truck pass them going the opposite direction towards the area they just left.

"Hmm, they are pretty slow. No one must have called in the gunshots." Alfred mutters to himself.

"Or they were slacking off." Bruce says and Alfred couldn't help but agree with that possibility.

The next day, while a beautiful woman with blonde hair was giving Bruce a massage, Alfred walks in and interrupts.

"Master Bruce, Detective Jim Gordon is here to speak with you." Alfred informs.

Picking his head up from the massage table, Bruce raises his eyebrow questioningly.

"Detective?" He replies.

"Yes, he seems to have been promoted." Alfred says.

"Good for him, I guess. I'll be down in a moment." Bruce says as he hops off the table and puts his clothes on.

"He's waiting in the foyer." Alfred leaves the room with a small bow.

Making his way downstairs, Bruce is met with a different Jim Gordon than he saw last time. Instead of the uniformed police officer, Bruce saw a casually dressed man with a badge on the belt of his pants.

Definitely a better and a far more 'Jim Gordon' kind of look. Age him 20 years and he would look similar to his movie and comic counterparts.

Thankfully, Detective Gordon wasn't here to question them about last night, which Bruce was slightly worried about.

One missed drop of blood or fingerprint and both he and his butler could be charged with murder and arson.

He only came to inform Bruce that his parent's jewelry was found at a pawn shop, and returned them to their rightful owner.

Not really caring about the jewelry, Bruce puts on a fake persona and thanks Detective Gordon profusely before seeing him out the front door.

"Congratulations on your promotion by the way." Bruce called out with a wave as Jim was getting into his car.

After hearing some gratitude for his words, Bruce closes the front door and releases a sigh he didn't notice he was holding.

"Alfred, meet me in the study!" Bruce yells as he walks up the stairs.

In the study, Bruce sits in his leather seat with Alfred standing across the desk from him.

"I want to leave Gotham for a while." Bruce says plainly.

"Is this because of last night?" Alfred asks worriedly.

"Yes..." Bruce answers without much context.

Although Bruce didn't feel anything for his actions yesterday, that doesn't mean he doesn't feel anxiety from the possibility of getting caught.

Removing themselves from the area would alleviate that anxiety and keep them out of any possible police investigation.

Thinking that Bruce felt horrible for what he's done or some other nonsense, Alfred agreed that some time outside of Gotham would be good.

"Okay, where would you like to go, Master Bruce?" Alfred asked.

"Hmm, let's start with your neck of the woods. I've never been to England before."
