After Jimin challenged Namjoon, Jin felt obligated to accomplish it. Namjoon was laid back about the situation and didn't seem very determined, but Jin was there to encourage him. The members always noted how the oldest was becoming sweeter and more cheerful. Jin was slowly changing, which affected the members and caused a spiral of confusion among them. Only Jimin knew the true reason this was happening and was unbothered by it. The members started to appreciate Jin immensely. The challenge was given to him AND Namjoon, so the rapper had to improve to. Following in his hyung's footsteps, he changed just like Jin. Sweeter, happier, more concern and his leadership (if not already amazing) sky rocketed despite it being his best trait. This time, the boys were getting suspicious about this. They didn't understand why the two members decided to change all of the sudden. However, Jimin saw that they were close to completing his challenge. The bet was only a few won but Jimin wasn't willing to lose it. He decided to block Namjoon off with an obstacle.
The next week, Namjoon noticed Hoseok started ignoring him. Curious about it, Namjoon approached Hoseok. "Hobi?" he called softly. Hoseok rolled his eyes and walked away. Namjoon was baffled and told Jin about it. Jin's cocked to the side. "He's not minding you? That's not like him.." Jin thought, frowning. The two wondered why Hoseok was behaving that way. Soon, Namjoon realized this was probably part of Jimin's challenge and confronted Jimin. As soon as Jimin spotted Namjoon, he shook his head and took at his cellphone. While unlocking his phone, Namjoon sucked in a breath. He shoved the screen into Namjoon's face. The rapper's eyes widened as he read the string of texts between Jimin and... himself?
"I never texted you yesterday?" he said while reading the texts. They were about Hoseok. A lot being rude remarks from Namjoon. "I know you didn't." Jimin said with an innocent tone despite his evil smirk. "A-arent you taking this too seriously? And I would never say that about Hoseok!" Namjoon sputtered, angry and worried. "Hoseok doesn't think so. Tell him otherwise." Jimin shrugged before returning the couch. Namjoon growled as he headed for Hoseok's room.
"Hoseok, open the door!" He said loudly while knocking.
"Hell no! Not after you called me a horse-looking dumb ass." Hoseok replied, his voice muffled from behind the door. Namjoon placed his head on the door, leaning against it and closing his eyes. He contemplated what to do and took long and deep breaths. "I didn't text that. I promise Hoseok!" he said. Hoseok didn't reply and remained silent. "Jimin made up those texts." he continued. Suddenly, the door swung open, causing Namjoon to lose balance and make contact with the floor while landing on the floor. "Ouch." He croaked as he stood up and regained his composure. "Why would Jimin make up those texts, huh?" Hoseok asked angrily, poking Namjoon with a pen. "Um-" Namjoon trailed off, scratching the back of his head. "I was trying to improve myself, right? But Jimin didn't like that, so yeah.." he lied, rubbing his fingers together. Hoseok was quiet for a few moments before sighing. "Sorry. Didn't think Jimin was that childish." Hoseok apologized looking down. Namjoon hugged Hoseok and sighed. "Don't worry. I would've done the same if someone told me another person texted something like that about me." he said reassuringly.
Mean while, Jin was focusing on his little plan. He knew Jimin was willing to mess with the other members to win the bet, so Jin was considering his circumstances to avoid any mix ups....
