Chapter 19: The Hero's Party

A/N: Hey guys, this week, I will try to reconstruct and review the previous chapter especially the first few short chapters as I heard a lot of complains from new readers.

They spent a month with the Zoldyck family. During this month, Geno tried to befriend Illumi and Milluki but to no avail. They only became acquaintances. He only heard from Illumi that as an assassin, they didn't need friends. Geno could only sigh.

After this month, they left the Zoldyck family. Leonard decided to train Geno while traveling. They stimulated real battles and kept having life and death battles.

Six months passed quickly and Geno and his grandfather were heading home. They trained a lot in the last six months. Geno was close to activating his second mode. He was able to train his body further. He became more familiar with his Nen abilities. He now had the Devourer mode completely under control. He can switch mode with ease now.

He was able to create a new Nen ability for enhancers. Although he couldn't display its full power in his normal mode. He was still able to use it to eighty percent of its power and once he activated the Destroyer mode, he would be able to bring it to its full strength.

[Twelve Slashes:

Description: A twelve sword movement that the user executes in sequence. The order of the slash determines its power. The attack power and penetration doubles with every slash. The twelfth slash is a sure kill slash, ignores all defense and Nen.

Conditions:

1. The user must execute the slashes in order.

2. If a slash is missed or poorly executed, the order will reset. The user has to start from the first slash.]

It was a good ability and a good addition to his fighting style. Geno had enough Nen abilities, for now, so he decided to spend some time with his family after his the seventh birthday.

When Geno and Leonard finally reached the forest ruins, Geno decided to visit his old friends in the forest. He told his grandfather he would return two days later and ran to the forest.

When Leonard heard that he had a headache, he didn't know what to do when the rest asked him about Geno. They had been out for a year, sure, they missed him.

'*sigh. What am I going to do now? His mother will keep nagging me. Not to mention my wife, mother, grandmother. And I can't go after him, only God knows how he befriended those guys. They wouldn't let anyone near their territories, only Geno could enter.' Thought Leonard to Himself. He was troubled by Geno's absence.

Meanwhile, Geno was on his way to visit his old friends in the forest. He had three close friends. The first was Ralph, a small snow beast. The second was Sugar, the lighting bird. The last one was Mito, the star raven.

Geno always liked wild nature. He enjoyed the company of those creatures and they enjoyed his presence. He didn't know if it was because of his affinity towards Nen or what but these creatures seemed to accept him.

Geno spent the next two days in the forest and enjoyed the company of those creatures. After enjoying himself, he went on his way to the family estates.

When he arrived, the servants informed his parents and the rest of his arrival. When he reached the main family mansion, his mother was waiting for him with tears in her eyes. She missed him a lot. Beside her stood a small little bun that looked at him with curiosity and excitement.

When Geno saw them, he launched himself towards his mother to hug her. After separating from his mother hug, he carried the little girl beside his mother to hug her too.

"Gina, How have you been? Did you miss big brother?" asked Geno looking at the little girl's expression.

"Don't worry Geno. She has been asking about you all the time." Smiled Lana.

"Mom.." replied the girl with an embarrassed expression.

"hehe, little Gina missed me… Did she cry…" teased Geno.

" Geno!!! I am not talking to you ever again." Replied the two-year-old girl while puffing her chick.

Geno and Lana chuckled while looking at the girl's adorable expression. They then headed towards Geno's room while Geno described what he had been through for the last year. He talked about his visit to the Kim family and about the creatures he saw in the desert ruins.

He talked about the Sakura family, his visit to the heavens arena. He told her about his fight with the spiders and his visit to the Zoldyck family.

He was enjoying himself while Gina looked at him with sparkling eyes. The little girl was excited and kept asking him about this and that.

They soon reached his room and found the whole family waiting for him. They chatted with him for the whole day till he chased them out telling them he needed some sleep.

After walking up the next day, he gathered his cousins and went to meet the old man. He wanted to tell them about his plans for the next years.

When they found the old man, Gen started to explain his plans.

"Hey, old man, for the next three years I want you to train the eight of us. I want you to teach us how to improve our teamwork and integrate our fighting styles." Explained Geno.

"What is your plan, brat?" asked the old man with some curiosity.

"Yeah, Geno, why all the secrecy." Said Lylia with an annoyed expression.

"Well, I was thinking of establishing our party and room in the outside world. I saw many interesting things and found a lot of powerful guys. There are also a lot of treasure we can hunt plus a lot of creatures we have never seen." Explained Geno with an excited voice.

Hearing this, all of his cousins had shining eyes. That was their dream. Usually, the younger generations had to leave for the outside world to have their adventure on their own then they would settle in the forest at the end.

Usually, everyone would travel alone to find their adventure so when they heard Geno's suggestion, it piqued their attention.

"No, where is the fun in doing that? If we are together all the time, that would be boring." Said Kail with an annoyed expression ion.

"of course not, idiot. We will not travel all together unless it is an important operation. We will usually travel in threes or twos." Explained Geno.

Hearing his descendants' discussion around him, the old man couldn't help but smile.

" Fine, I will teach you for the next three years. Don't expect me to be lenient. I will give you a hell of training." Said the old man while giving them a sly smile.

They felt a chill through their spine and couldn't help but looking at Geno begrudgingly.

"Ok, but first what are you going to name our group Geno?" asked Carlos.

"Well, I have been thinking and after playing a game outside. I liked the idea of the game so I decided to name our group 'Hero's Party' the name of the game. Hehe." Smiled Geno.

He then explained the game idea to everyone. About the hero and everyone in the party about their mission to kill demons and get rich.

"So after all the thinking, I found everyone role in the party. I will be the hero obviously, hehe I already booked it for myself. I chose the great of the roles based on everyone's nen abilities. Carlos will be the assassin. Lylia will be the healer. Kail will be the swordsman. Maya will be the archer. Emily will be the mage. Felix (Green) will be the tank. Edward (Green, Felix twin) will be the Necromancer." Explained Geno.
