18 Chapter 18: Meeting the Zoldycks

Gotoh didn't know about the Sept family as it had been ages before any if the family visited the Zoldyck. He hurriedly went to his master room and knocked on the door.

"Come in." he heard a strict voice from the room.

He entered the room and saw a muscular middle-aged man with white hair sitting on the master seat.

"Master, there has been an accident at the testing gate. The groundskeeper reported that two individuals opened the gate and ordered him to inform you that the Sept family is here." Explained the butler with respect while bowing to Silva.

The calm and cold expression on Silva melted away and was replaced by shot and surprise.

"Did they report their names? Or their looks?" asked Silva.

The butler seeing the surprise on his master's face was shocked. He never saw his master change his calm expression.

"No, master. They didn't leave their name. The groundkeeper said that the elder had red hair and was in his fifties or late forties and the kid had silver and red hair with blood-red eyes and he was the one who opened the seventh gate." Replied the butler.

Silva nodded and then ordered the Butler " Send a servant to my father and tell him that the Sept family is here. Also, send all the family members to gather at the mansion's gate to welcome them. Go and receive them at the servants' Estate."

Go to nodded and headed out to execute the instructions. Silva waited for his father to arrive. He knew that Zeno would bring his grandfather with him.

Meanwhile, Leonard and Geno were on their way to the family estates. When Geno saw the huge dog, Mike, he sprinted towards it. Geno liked to befriend different creatures and species. Mike was a descendent of the hell hound, so Geno was fascinated by it.

When Mike sensed someone came close, he released his killing intent trying to scare them. Geno smirked and released his and pummeled the dog to teach it a lesson. He then rode on top of his head and ordered it to head to the family state.

When they reached the servant estate, they saw a row of servants bowing their heads to welcome them. They saw the butler came close to them and bowed his head.

"Welcome estimated guests, the master is waiting for you." Welcomed the butler with respect in his voice.

Leonard nodded his head and headed to the family estate on the head of Mike.

When they saw the family estate, they saw the Zoldyck family waiting for them.

"Eh, little Silva is that you? You changed a lot from the last time I saw you" said Leonard with a surprised voice.

"Hello, uncle. It had been a while." Greeted Silva with respect in his voice.

"Is that your family? And where are the three old bastards?" asked Leonard.

"Yes, they are my family. This is my wife Kikyo, my sons, Illumi, Milluki, Kalluto. My other son killua is out, training in the heavens arena. My father is waiting for you with my grandmother and my great grandfather." Replied Silva.

"ok let's head there," said Leonard with humor in his voice.

They all headed to the main hall. When they arrived they saw three generations of the Zoldyck family.

"So you are here old man." Welcomed Zeno with a mocking smile.

"so you are alive after all. You, too, old hag." Said Leonard mocking Zeno and his mother.

"How are you uncle Maha?" said Leonard concerning the old man.

Maha was Xander's friend and they were close to each other age. Leonard was actually in his seventies. He married Lobna at a later age. He was the same age as Zeno's father.

"I am fine little Leo. How is Xander?" replied maha with a calm voice.

"He is fine and kicking. I came to visit you with my grandson, Geno. Geno, come and introduce yourself." Replied Leonard.

Geno introduced himself then his grandfather started bragging in front of the old men in the Zoldyck family about how genius Geno was. He told them that even the old man, Xeno, can't touch Geno if Geno didn't want him to.

They started talking nonstop and Leonard inquired about the whereabouts of Zigg Zoldyck. He hadn't seen the man for a long time. Maha told him that he had not seen him for years now. They sighed then changed the topic.

Zeno, then, proposed a competition between Geno and Illumi. Geno looked at Illumi with interest. Although he knew illumi was not his opponent, he was always there for a good fight. He then proposed if he defeated illumi, he would have a match with Silva.

Illumi looked at Gino with his deep black eyes trying to prop him.

They moved to a training ground outside of the house. They prepared to fight.

Geno licked his lips and signaled Illumi to start his attack. Illini started attacking by sending pins and needles towards Geno but they all passed through him. Illumi was disadvantaged in this situation. He can't control the audience here to control so he had to fight head-on and even if he had an audience and used his Nen abilities he wouldn't be able to touch Geno.

Geno then started his attack. He didn't use his sword, he only used his fists and legs. Although Illumi is powerful and had a good Nen foundation, in front of Geno who had a perfect affinity towards Nen and his absorption ability, he had a long way to go. He couldn't keep up with Geno's attacks and was subdued after some minutes.

After helping Illumi to stand up, Geno looked at Silva with a fighting spirit that reached the top. He was waiting to have an exchange with Silva.

When his grandfather saw this, he started laughing and started mocking Zeno and his mother by saying that Geno would be able to beat them too in a few years.

Zeno's face turned black while his mother chuckled. Maha looked at Geno with interest.

'Interesting ability… and what is that?? A shift between ten and zetsu for only his hand and legs… interesting…' Maha looked at Geno with interest.

Leonard didn't want to embarrass Silva so he decided to stop at this. After convincing Geno, they all went to the hall to continue with their talk. Geno's face was all black. He was disappointed that his fight with Silva was canceled. He sighed and followed the rest.
