Chapter 37

Viggo Pov:

 "Brother, how goes the the thing I asked about Berk," I ask my brother, Ryker. Our niece and nephew went missing on berk when the pandemic started. I admired Stoick's son and had gotten to know him as a child and watched his exploits from afar. He was indeed interesting.

 "Nothing so far, apparently he doesn't know what happened," Ryker informed me.

 "I see, still no news on Hiccup?," I asked.

 "No," He replied again.

 "I see, that will be all for today. I have a meeting in a few hours with Meathead. They got a complaint about our hunting practices again from the Defenders of the Wing," I informed him.

 "Understood," He replied and left.

 I get up and head to the statue I had on a wooden podium in a corner of the room. I made sure no-one was around and moved the statue to the side. I leaned down and opened a trapdoor to a dust floor below. I stuck my hand in and pulled out a phone from the sand. Not the best hiding method, but the most discreet, due to the nature of it, I cannot allow anyone to get their hands on this. I dial a number and wait.

 "Yes?," I hear in a feminine voice from the other side.

 "I assume you are doing well. I wanted you to check up on something for me, well 2 things really...," I begin.

Narrator Pov:

 "Is it done?," A voice asks over the line.

 "Yes, I kept him in the dark about Stoicks message. He will have no Idea our nephew was killed years ago and that our niece went missing in a fire," Ryker replies over the phone.

 "Good, keep it that way, also, it seems that a troublesome character has reappeared. I don't know about the rest, but he was responsible for our loss at 700 viking avenue in 2020," The voice over the phone says.

 "Understood, ETL," Ryker says.

 "I know I said not to say my name over the phone, but still don't use my initials," Eugene says over the phone.

 "Understood, sir," Ryker replies and the call is ended.

 "What was that call about Jake?," Emma asks as Jake hangs up from his phone.

 "Nothing, I was just talking with an old friend of a friends of ours, and a friend of mine," Jake replies.

 "Huh," Emma replies.

 "What did you just say Stoick?," Gobber asks his friend after hearing something.

 "One of the codes I told you about was used this morning on the coast. Meaning it had to be Thorfinn, and he was with them meaning your apprentice is back on the island," Stoick tells Gobber.

 "What code was used?," Gobber asks.

 "CGKEYLOJFZ was used, short for CG Key Lo J Forza. It was some weird thing I heard from Hunter when he was young," Stoick replies.

 "I see, was that all there is Stoick?," Gobber asks.

 "Well, you remember the incident 3 and a half years ago. Well, the Grimborns it turns out had a sister who married Alvin, willingly or not, and they had children. Mia went missing with the kids and Lucas was killed 4 years ago. I told them about that, but not their sister as she is in witness protection and it could get leaked," Stoick informs Gobber.

 "I see, yes, that could pose a problem," Gobber answers.

 "Also, you remember the boy I was looking at joining us," Stoick asks.

 "The fish guy, who is good with computers. You signed him on cause he went looking into our database and it surprised you on how he was even able to get in," Gobber replies.

 "Yes, well, I want you to go talk to him, I can't since I am busy. He talked about getting us a deal on a up and coming computer that is in testing that is supposedly better than our current ones," Stoick tells Gobber.

 "Ok, I'll get to that right after this then," Gobber says. He had been working on something when Stoick arrived and wanted to finish it.

 "What is it?," Stoick asked.

 "It is a bomb prototype I found in the cove's underground base. I think tha t it might have been one of his," Gobber informs Stoick.

 "Right, well when you see him next, give him an earful on blowing up my house and then tell him I want to talk to him, so I can give him an earful on blowing up the house," Stoick replies. He was still very much mad over the fact that Jake had blown up his house.

Jake Pov:

 "Jake, I forgot to tell you this so I will now. Apparently your brother was patening your computer and phone system you created to sell," Astrid tells me. I had just gotten off the call with a friend and now this.

 "You don't say?," I reply, turning back to her. But for some reason the blood left everyone's face. "Are you guys alright?," I ask.

 "Jake, it was your face, and the fact that you are so tall," Emma tells me from my side. Oh, right.

 "Sorry, if you will excuse me," I say, and I leave the room. I start walking towards the boys dorm and I take my phone out and dial a number.

 "Yes Jake," I hear from the other side of the line.

 "Hiccup, do you know what room Hunter is staying in?," I ask.

 "Yes, mine," Hiccup replies.

 "What is the number?," I ask.

 "224, why do you want to know?," He asks, and I hang up. I find the window to that room closed and I go in line with it, most of the students giving me a wide birth due to my size. Some looked weirdly at me since I was by the boys dorm.

 "HAYDON!!! Get your butt out here this minute!," I yell at the top of my lungs.
