Chapter 3 comfort kingdom

A year later

'I can't believe it's been a year I'm 20 today I haven't been able to start my royal job since it took until today for everyone to return.' Violet sighed she walked down the stone stairs entering the grand hall a line of servants had bowed to her she sat down on the throne sighing Merlin came over "miss violet it has been a year each time I have ask you avoided why won't you have a heir?" Merlin said violet jumped at the question she realized she never had answered "a very long time ago when I was born mom gave me up I don't want a child in this world until I'm ready." Violet said Merlin looked at her surprised he bowed "sorry for asking." He said immediately leaving violet sighed.

A servant offered her a drink violet took it she smelled it everyone looked at her she became embarrassed "sorry old habits die hard." Said violet quickly drank the wine her vision quickly went fuzzy she dropped the cup and got up she felt dizzy 'I-i feel so hot no todays not the day I know this scheme I can't go towards my bed' the court advisor walked up to violet "are you okay miss violet?" He said violet nodded "yeah.... just get the king of Argus to come here or I'll.... you know what I'll just go over there." Violet said she exited and had entered a carriage she immediately headed to Argus.

Once they arrived at castle Argus she was welcomed by multiple servants the doors open of a giant black charcoal color castle the king and his queen exited the king had looked kindly and wiser violent knew he was older but he looked only 27 years old his hair was as black as the night sky's on the other hand his wife had a smiling but wicked face her hair was a long light blue color while her eyes was a light red "welcome queen violet this meeting is unexpected?" He said violet smiled a bit "if this meeting is so unexpected then what's with the people?" Said violet.

"My servants are taught to be ready to meet any royal they currently remember over 600 royal crests including yours which is new I still don't get the moon and the sun." He said violet smiled she started to walk up the drugs that was slipped in her drink was starting to weaken "oh king Derek if only you knew how dear that sign is too me." Violet said Derek smiled "are you here to finally accept one of my sons as your suitors?" Derek said violet shook her head smiling "sorry no I came to discuss stuff about peace treaty's and such." Said violet Derek frowned "please queen violet think of your kingdoms future." Derek said violet sighed she looked down "what is it with everyone telling me to have a child?" "Fine Let me see your sons." Said violet Derek smiled violet walked up the stairs Derek walked to her he grabbed her hands and entered the castle.

What surprised her had been the line of princes king Derek had from older to younger she looked at him a bit disgusted "how old are these princes?" Said violet Derek looked down "between 10 and 30 years old." Said Derek violet looked at him even more disgusted "so those little kids.... there supposed to be there what kind of sick joke is this!" Violet said Derek looked at her a bit offended "I'm sorry it's our custom anyone aged we and older will be put in as a suitor but if that isn't your customs I guess... Vlad come out your going to your room." Derek said the young boy who was the youngest out of the group stood forward he looked disappointed "aw man I thought I could get Married to someone today!" He said immediately running away.

Violet sighed she looked at the person who had looked like her age he was tall and he had black hair fitting with brown eyes she pointed at him he looked both ways and pointed at himself confused violet nodded he came up and stood on the side of his dad "today Ivan your betrothed to lady violet." Derek said Ivan blushed he nodded and bowed to violet, violet scratched her neck a bit surprised "yo-you don't have to do that you can stand up." Violet said Ivan stood up nervous.

Several years later

"Hope!" Violet said immediately a girl came down stairs behind violet "yes mom!" Hope said violet turned around she looked at hope she had the same color hair as her and brownish eyes "can you do me a favor your baby brother he's gotten sicker can you replace the healing aroma?" Said violet hope nodded "sure mom since this will soon be my kingdom I have to take care of my people and my sibling." Hope said violet smiled Hope walked back up running towards where she needed to be.

Once she found the room she entered she smelt flowers she looked at her brother who had more of her moms look then her dads he was only 2 and he could speak and walk out of the whole kingdom he was the most advanced but that also left his immune system weakened she sat down next to him she smiled and quickly changed the dying peddles too new ones she looked over at her brother who had by now woken up "big s-sister?" Said Mark smiled hope looked at him his body was underweight violet frowned.

"Why aren't you eating the cooks food?" Hope said mark shook his head "I ate the food." Said mark hope nodded she immediately slipped her hand under his pillow she immediately pulled a bowl out that was still warm hope looked at him "b-but how!?" Mark said hope pointed towards the ants mark sat up he sighed "you have to eat your food or you'll become even more weak." Hope said mark shook his head he laid back down "why won't you eat?" Hope said mark looked the other way hope looked at him upset she grabbed his hand "why won't you eat you know all the people who care about you will miss you!?" Hope said.

Mark smiled a bit he looked at hope "no one will miss me I've already heard what the people think about me no one will miss me in their words he's weak he'll never be a king like his mom he'll die before she dies." Mark said hope looked at him she started to get upset she grabbed his hand tightening her grip "please I'll miss you little brother your the only person who sees me!" Hope said mark looked at her surprised he looked down he sighed "fine sister I'll make sure to get healthy for you." Mark said hope hugged him happy she got up "if you need me I'll be outside." Hope said immediately she turned around she walked towards the door "sister please stay I don't want to sleep alone I'm scared." Said Mark hope stop she turned around and saw the terror on his face she smiled and nodded "yeah sure brother I'll stay for as long as you want." Hope said mark smiled.
