Looking around all I saw were confused, worried or frightened faces. I could understand, but instead of sharing these feelings, I instead felt full of energy and excitement.
Looking to the rewards bar I could make a rough estimate of what the rewards were. Upon taking a closer look I noticed that they were broken up into 200 different rewards each separated by 5 points all except the last reward.
Looking at the final reward I knew that if anyone managed to obtain it then they will have the greatest headstart, making it almost impossible to catch up.
I knew that if I managed to get it no one would be able to compete with me and I will be one step closer to finishing my mission...

Looking over the different rewards and the required points I started to think about which I should go for...
Looking over the different trials and their difficulties I started to think about which I would be able to do to get the best amount of points.
Looking down at my body, I couldn't help but feel anger, if it wasn't for them I would still be able to walk even with my degrading health.
I would have had enough confidence to take on any trial up to Crystal, however with my current condition I doubt I'll even be able to complete Bronze.
Sighing to myself I reached out my hand to grab the Bronze orb, however right before I could grab it I felt a warm heat come from my pocket.
I stopped and slowly looked down to my pocket before pulling out the warm object.
There on my hand sat the small white box I brought from the Blacksmith, slowly the box opened to reveal a small white ring with a blue gemstone.
Feeling the warmth originating from the ring, picking up the ring and taking a closer look I noticed the white material used for the band of the ring was slightly transparent.
Looking at the gemstone I could see a faint shadow of a dragon roaring, then I noticed the ring became hotter when moved closer to the right.
Looking over I quickly came to the conclusion that the closer the ring got to the Sapphire orb the hotter it got.
Quickly I came to the conclusion that the ring... wanted me to take the Sapphire trial...
Looking down at the ring then at the Sapphire orb I came to a decision.
If I was going to complete my mission then either I do my best or I fail completely there is no in between only success or failure...
Putting on the ring on my left hand, I felt the ring change size to snuggly and comfortably fit my finger.
Full of determination I extended my hand and grabbed the Sapphire orb without any hesitation.

As soon as Richard grabbed the Sapphire orb his eyes became unfocused and lifeless, almost as if his soul had left his body.
This took place to countless people who grabbed a trial orb, soon enough everyone started to grab a trial orb to start their new journey...
_
Opening my eyes I soon discovered I was standing in a new space completely made of white. My body didn't feel weak or tried but instead full of energy, I hadn't felt like this since...
Coming back to myself I quickly realized that I hadn't been transported to any trial grounds but instead been placed under an illusion.
Looking up from my hands I found a stone tablet with words inscribed upon it's surface. It read as following.
[
Sapphire Trial:
Difficulty: Extreme
Points" 0 - 1001p
Penalty: Death upon failure
Trial objective:
Part 1: defend castle from invaders, score will be determined by enemies slain, allies death and time. Maximum points 500.
Part 2: Fight 10 thousand weakened low class demons, score will be determined by time survived and enemies slain. Maximum points 501.
]
After reading it and commiting it to memory, I reached out and touched it.
The space around started to change, first the ground, then the sky and finally buildings began to rise from the ground.

As Zelus's projection disappeared he sat down on a white and red chaise lounge, he smiled in delight.
The room Zelus was sitting in had all sorts of gods either relaxing or conversing with each other.
The room all the gods were in is called a viewing dimension, a viewing dimension is made by multiple gods divinities to make a stable protected space.
Extravagantly decorated with comfortable furniture, carpet and curtains. The Room had a sacred aura so much so that if a mortal were to ever see it they would think it is heaven.
The gods went about there business either eating from the tables of food or conversing.
As the gods were talking a man stood up in front of everyone, he was wearing a white robe, a helmet and winged sandals. Blonde hair and blue eyes he stood tall at the hight of 7 feet 3 inches, with a face full of excitement covering his handsome face.
Hermes the god of gambling and speed, standing in front of everyone he smiled and spoke.
"Goddesses and gods, it is my pleasure to welcome you all here for The Gods Faith. As some of you might know I am Hermes and I will be over seeing gambling whether it be public or private bets.
Now then if you're all comfortable let's get on to the bets..." Before he could finish in the middle of the room a spacial crack appeared and began to grow.
All the gods and goddesses stopped a looked over to the crack with different levels of shock.
The only beings that had the ability to rip space in this dimension made by 50+ gods they would either be a high tier or peak god but they wouldn't concern themselves with The Gods Faith.
So that left only those who have control or a divinity of space, however it is one of the rarest divinities.
As the crack grew to full size a claw suddenly emerged followed by a the owner of the large claw.
A massive dragon full of power and elegance followed by an old man with a happy smile on his face and eyes always closed to a fine line.
The gods and goddesses faces became focused on the dragon with some even having greed in their eyes, however the greed instantly disappeared when the Old man's gaze fell upon them, even if his eyes were closed they felt like their hearts had stopped.
Angnath the Galaxy, that was the first thought that came to their minds. Angnath is best known for his skills in alchemy, smithing, formations and agriculture.
However don't let that trick you into thinking he is weak, he is still a dragon and it is said he hasn't ever been defeated even when fighting beings of a higher realm.
He is highly respected in all the divine realms for his abilities and talent but also because of his mysterious background...
The old man standing behind him is said to be one of his mother's servants tasked with protecting her only son from those above his realm, or so the rumors say.
Even with his kind face and gentle aura no one here should even dare overlook or disrespect the Old Man for a second.
Angnath looked around before speaking with a loud powerful voice.
"Good it seems I didn't come late." He showed off a smile full of long razor sharp teeth before moving over to a empty area.
As he floated down a large purple cushion appeared under him with assortment of different food. The old man sat down next to Angnath on a chair that materialized under him.
Turning their attention away from Angnath and the old man the gods went back to focusing on Hermes...
