Chapter-39 : Concert [2]

The music vibrated throughout the venue, so was the excitement of the audience.

Ric started moving hand, tapping his with every beat of the music. Seeing him dancing every audience was shouting excitedly.

The excitement reached its peak when Ric started singing.

"I got this feeling

inside my bones

It goes electric, wavey

when I turn it on

All through my city,

all through my home

We're flying up, no ceiling,

when we in our zone"

....

At this moment, everyone was on their feet, waving hands, shouting, jumping but dancing alone with Ric.

Throughout the song, Ric danced a few times and moved energetically from one side to another side of the stage.

When the final song came, it went like this,

"Nothing I can see but you when you dance, dance, dance,"

(I can't stop the feeling) all the audience shouted

"Feeling good, good, creeping up on you

So just dance, dance, dance, come on"

(I can't stop the feeling) all the audience shouted when Ric put the mike forward

"All those things I shouldn't do But you dance, dance, dance"

(I can't stop the feeling) audience

"And ain't nobody leaving soon, so keep dancing"

When the song ended, everyone was still shouting, "I can't stop the feeling."

The song was Ric's sixth single and the title song of his Album <Feelings>.

This was the last single that was released before the album was released.

Ric waited a few moments for the spectators to cool down when he shouted,

"Good Morning Madison Square Garden!!!!"

In response, everyone shouted at the top of their lungs and chanting, "Richard!!!"

"Are you enjoying it?" Ric shouted again.

"Yes!!!" was the shout from the spectators.

"Then let's make it more enjoyable.

HIT IT!" said Ric.

When the music started again, everyone shouted with their hands in the air.

With the soft sound of the guitar vibrating the air, Ric started singing,

When the tears are rolling down,

Like a river to the ocean

And there's no one else around

You won't question my devotion

Everybody needs somebody

And you got me

You know that

I know that you know that

I'll be there for the highs and lows

Give you mine if your heart gets broke

By your side when you're all alone

I will be there

Everyone was moving slowly with the rhythm of the song.

Sometimes high sometimes low but they are enjoying it.

This is the fifth single of the album. It was released before the album was along with <Can't Stop the feelings>.

It is Ric's voice that brings the charm. That charismatic, magical voice with beautiful lyrics and melodies can attract, captivate anyone.

Throughout the one-hour concert, Ric sang all the unreleased songs from his single which are, <I want it that way>, <Count on me>, <Maps>, <Payphone>, <Beliver> and in between them he sang <If time could stop> and <Lonely>

Finally, he ended with the song <It's Not Goodbye.>, he said,

"It was the last song of the day. Thank you for coming to this concert."

When everyone heard him, they started shouting "encore", "encore", "encore" not wanting this concert to end.

Hearing them Ric smiled and cued the band for another song and when the music started again everyone became excited again started shouting "encore" and "Richard".

With the cue of the music, Ric began singing the last song,

"Every, now and then

We find a special friend

Who never lets us down

Who understands it all

Reaches out each time you fall."

When the song reached this part, people stopped making sounds and were slowly captivated by the melodious song sung by an equally charming voice.

"You're the best friend that I've found

I know you can't stay

A part of you will never go away

Your heart will stay

I'll make a wish for you

And hope it will come true."

.....

By now, they were completely absorbed in the song while having a ride down their memory lane, watching and reliving the precious moments.

So, when Ric finished singing the last few verses of the song,

"That life would just be kind

To such a gentle mind

If you lose your way

Think back on yesterday

Remember me this way

Remember me this way"

Everyone was silent. The entire venue was pin-drop silent when the music ended.

Sabrina and her friends came all the way from California to attend this concert. They were fans of Ric from the time he first appeared in <E.T>. Since then, they have been supporting all his works.

Besides that, they love his singing, especially Sabrina. She has fallen in love with Ric's songs the moment she heard it. So, she and including her friends were excited to go to this concert.

After all, listening to the song you love so much by your favorite artist live is on another level. And top it off, you got the rare free tickets to listen up close just adds another dimension.

They had a lot of fun throughout the concert. Ric's voice is so captivating that they enjoyed the entire concert.

So, when Ric did the encore with <Remeber me this way>, it also made Sabrina remember a few precious memories which tired her up.

To able to bring such deep moments made Sabrina calp with tear strain eyes from her heart. Her friends followed, shortly others followed, and little by little entire venue resonated with heartfelt claps.

Soon shouts, whistles added, and then screams like "Richard!!!", "Feeling!!!", followed the rhythm.

Seeing the entire venue like that, Ric smiled, made a bow, gave a flying kiss, waved his hand, and left.

Seeing him leaving the fans and spectators screamed "encore" and it didn't stop even when Ric left. In fact, they kept shouting "encore" from the top of their lungs for 10 minutes straight before they started dispersing.

Even though they are dispersed from the venue, the atmosphere surrounding the concert did not vanish yet.

Everyone was talking about it. Spectators sharing their experience, reporters reporting about the silent phenomena, or the 10-minute encore shout.

All in all Ric's concert was not only successful but also ended on a high note.
