This is a small village in the west of England. To the east of the village there is a huge forest. The children of the village have been warned from an early age not to go near the forest.
Because of the legend that witches live in the forest.
This legend has been passed down through the village for centuries and is strictly observed by everyone. Even the most mischievous children would not go near the forest.
Because the legend is true ...
The snow-white owl swept past the village, which had fallen into a deep sleep, and waved its wings noiselessly as it flew firmly and slowly in the direction of the forest.
On a distant hillside, two robed figures watched the owl enter the forest.
"I thought this family was extinct."
A witch with square spectacles, dark hair curled into a high bun and dressed in dark green robes spoke in a rather mixed tone.
And beside her, the flamboyant old man with the half-moon glasses shook his head, "Yes, Minerva, that's what I thought at first. Until his name came up in the Book of Access."
Professor McGonagall looked to Dumbledore at her side, "Is that a good thing?"
Dumbledore said flatly, "No one knows, Minerva, but I think we can report it."
After that, the two men stopped talking. Quietly they waited for the other to decide.
Hogwarts was a school and not a prison. They wouldn't force admission, and it was natural that if the other person refused it was fine. Though such a thing never came up.
In a small tree at the edge of the forest, a long emerald green snake hung lazily in the tree until the shadow of the owl appeared in its senses. It gracefully placed itself on the ground before burrowing deeper into the woods with graceful posture and swiftness.
The owl sensed a very bad atmosphere as it approached the woods, it felt that the woods were like an open bloody mouth and that it would not be able to get out if it entered. But feeling the weight of the letter in his mouth, he dived bravely into the forest.
The forest was not so scary, that was the owl's first impression. Although there was still a sense of prying eyes around it, there was no sense of crisis that could kill it at any moment.
This gave the owl a sigh of relief. So it gathered up its courage and flew straight towards the location of the dim light deep in the forest.
After the owl left, the ground was rustling with the sound of one snake after another emerging from the dead branches and leaves. Together they stared at the owl's back and headed in unison towards the centre of the forest.
The owl's flight is fast and the prying sensation makes him feel very nervous. It had been delivering mail for years. It had never really experienced this feeling before. So it unconsciously sped up its flight.
It didn't take long for it to reach the centre of the forest. There was a clearing, with only a simple but not rudimentary wooden house standing there. The cabin was rustic and elegant, clean and tidy throughout, and the light streaming out of the windows was dim but welcoming. It would not be out of place if a nobleman in court dress were to emerge from the closed door in the next instant. On the walls, there is an 's' pattern of snakes.
The owl circled above the cottage, but found no letterbox. So it prepared to land towards the window.
Just as it was about to land, the door was opened.
A little boy in silk pyjamas came out, looked up at the owl and waved to it.
Obediently, the owl landed on the wooden railing in front of the little boy and sent the letter in its beak forward. The little boy took the letter, reached out with his other hand and stroked its head, then snapped his fingers.
There was a panicked squeak in the distance and a mouse drifted through the trees, letting out a mournful howl. The owl looked at the mouse's figure, and with a flash of light
With a flap of its wings it greeted it.
In the past, when he had gone to deliver a message to the little wizard, he had been given a little treat by some polite half-breed wizard. But hell knows why the little wizard always likes to feed him nuts ...
Owls don't eat nuts, you eat nuts!
In this instant, the owl was instantly filled with good feelings towards the unknown little wizard.
The little wizard smiled gracefully as he listened to the owl's cheerful cries, then opened the envelope and pulled out the long-awaited letter he had been waiting for.

Looking at the letter in his hand, Luke Gaunt was finally relieved.

Seeing that the system, which had not moved for four years and two months, had finally resurrected, Luke was also relieved. Back then, although he was a sorcerer, he was still only a six-year-old child after all, and without the system's guidance at the beginning, he probably wouldn't have survived at all.
The system had guided Luke through that initial period of confusion and helplessness, and Luke was filled with gratitude to the system in his heart.
He did not bother with the owl that was feasting on his food, but turned and went inside, plopped down on the table, picked up a quill and wrote in beautiful script on the delicate parchment.
"Dear Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall:
Thank you both for your invitations, I am eager and willing to become a student at the best wizarding school in England, but until I can enroll, I hope the school can send a teacher to help me as there are no other adult wizards around.
Yours sincerely
respectfully
Luke Gaunt
July 30, 1991"
After briefly finishing the reply, he pulled out an envelope with a green swimming snake design around the edge from the other side of the table, put the letter inside, and sealed it with a fire-painted seal and a grain of wax at the seal out. When the seal was removed, the dark green serpent emblem was delicate and atmospheric.
Luke took the letter and waited a few moments longer before getting up and going out.
The owl had just finished eating the mouse and was flapping its wings happily, and hooted enthusiastically when it saw the kind little wizard who had given it to it come out.
Luke stroked its head and said with a smile, "You've worked hard." After saying that, he handed over the letter in his hand.
The owl took the letter into its mouth and nodded to Luke before flapping its wings and flying off in the direction it had come from.
Luke watched the owl leave the woods, and then the smile on his face faded. A long, bright green snake emerged from the shadows by the hut. Then it crawled up Luke's trouser leg and onto Luke's shoulder.
It flicked its snake's teeth, as if it was saying something to Luke.
Luke nodded, "So Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall are here. Looks like this body's 'Gunther' surname isn't a fake."
Luke couldn't help but get a little headache thinking about it. He honestly wasn't a hardcore fan of the Harry Potter series in his previous life. His knowledge of the whole story was limited to a cursory glance at the movies, and he could only be considered a mild fan of Harry. Naturally, he didn't know much about the Gaunt family, a family that didn't play much of a part in the original story.
But it's certainly not the first time Dumbledore has identified himself. So there was no doubt about the bloodline. And with Dumbledore's endorsement, it would be much easier for him to enter the circle of purebloods.
After all, what makes you think you can represent and lead a pureblood family when you're not even a pureblood?
Right? Tom No-Nose Riddle.
With that thought, Luke walked back into the house again and closed the door. There was still some information he needed to confirm.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall had seen the owl that had flown out of the forest.
The owl naturally saw them from afar, and although it was confused as to why the two professors were here, the recipient of his letter was Professor McGonagall, so it naturally flew towards him.
With a flick of Professor McGonagall's finger, a stone on the ground turned into an upside-down 'L'-shaped wooden pole. The owl landed on the pole and handed Professor McGonagall the letter in its beak.
Professor McGonagall took the letter and the first thing she saw was the conspicuous glowing green coat of arms.
"It's the Coat of Arms of the House of Gaunt all right." Dumbledore said after a quick glance. Although he was certain that the boy's bloodline was indeed that of House Gaunt, he had not expected to have the family crest of House Gaunt in his possession as well.
Now it seemed that the Gunter family of young Hagedorn, the Gunter family where Voldemort's mother was from, would be the obvious child on the table, and this child over here, the dark one with the family's heritage.
This is not an uncommon thing in the great families. But pure-blood families are rare these days, so it's been a long time since this set has been done.
Still, the boy obviously wouldn't have sprung from a rock. Why was the Gunther heir of this generation about to enter the world?
By now Professor McGonagall had finished reading the short letter. Professor McGonagall's first reaction on seeing the letter was that it was pleasing to the eye. The writing on the letter was so beautiful that if it was a case of seeing the words as one sees them, then this little fellow must also be quite a fine person. Of course Professor McGonagall this knew that such claims were not reliable, but the good handwriting would make a good first impression on her.
"Dumbledore, Luke says he has no adult wizard on his side and needs a teacher to guide him."
Professor McGonagall was even a little confused when she said this. This child of the Gaunt's, was he an orphan?
Dumbledore didn't say much, just nodded and then said, "You make the arrangements, Minerva, I'm going to focus on the Maidenhair Road side in a few moments."
Professor McGonagall also got serious at the mention of the name 'Maiden's Way'.
"Still no word back from Harry?"
"Not really, it seems the family is really stubborn."
"Do you need me to check it out?"
Professor McGonagall asked, speaking up. She was equally concerned about Harry's problems, the boy who had survived the great tribulation always touched the hearts of many.
Dumbledore shook his head, "No need, I've asked Hagrid to do that."
Professor McGonagall nodded back, sending Hagrid was indeed a good choice, after all, what that family needed right now was deterrence, not persuasion.
After that she looked at the letter she was holding again and then said to Dumbledore, "Then I will guide the boy."
Dumbledore looked at Professor McGonagall with some confusion, "I thought you were going to let Severus come."
After all, it was almost immediately obvious which House the boy would be assigned to.
Professor McGonagall pondered for a moment without speaking, seemingly weighing the pros and cons, UU 看书 www.uukanshu.com but not for a moment, she still said firmly, "It's still me."
She looked at the letter, "This might be a very good boy."
Dumbledore nodded, his eyes deep and unreadable for any emotion other than gentleness.
At this point Luke was unaware that his guidance teacher had made up her mind, he was looking at his profile and preparing to open a gift bag in the process.

Luke chose to open the Newbie Bundle, and the animation of the box opening was shown, followed by a flash of golden light. A look of surprise appeared on Luke's face. The last time he had seen the golden light was when he opened the 'Guidance Bundle', and that time what he opened was the 'Azkaban Three Piece Set' and the legendary 'Slytherin's Wand'.
What could this golden light be now?
