Chapter 25.

Seraphina’s POV

Today has been by far the most boring day ever. It has been raining non-stop all day. This morning it was nice as it was cloudy and cool, but then in the afternoon, it started to rain heavily.

Nick has been held up in our room while I was in the living room. It was after lunch and it started to thunder. There wasn't any lightning yet but the thunder ears were getting louder.

I’m on the couch reading a book I found on one of the shelves. I can occasionally hear Nick talking or cursing to himself.

I end chapter 10 when Nick walks out.

“Hi, baby.”

“Hey, Amore.” He says and sits down next to me.

“How’s it going?” I asked him to put the book down on the table. I curl up my legs to me on the couch and he rests his hand on my bent knee.

“Stale.”

“I’m sorry.” I run my fingers through his hair. He leans his head back and closes his eyes. “How bout we have a lazy day together?”
