Chapter 22 Sleeping at His Place for a Day

"When are you available?" Andrea asked respectfully, hiding her complaint about Marvin.

"I don't know yet," Marvin said with a slight smile.

Andrea was frustrated again.

"You can go back now."

Andrea bit her lips. She couldn't possibly finish the interview today since he had asked her to leave.

Just as she was about to leave, Andrea suddenly felt a pain in her heart, and she lost her balance.

She subconsciously grabbed something around her to support herself. What she grabbed was Marvin's arm.

She then fell into Marvin's arms...

Andrea raised her head and met Marvin's cold gaze.

"Ms. Brown, such tricks won't work."

His eyes were filled with disdain and annoyance. Andrea was extremely upset.

His misunderstanding of her was even worse now. Marvin couldn't possibly know that she had heart disease. So, he had reason to doubt that she feigned the fall.
