Chapter 23 Someone on Call

All of a sudden, his subordinate, Leo, called.

"Mr. Williams, Mr. Clark's matter has been dealt with. He won't appear in front of Ms. Brown again."

Leo was Marvin's personal bodyguard and Marvin's confidant who deployed various means to deal with affairs. Leo did things neatly and left nothing to chance.

Marvin replied with an "OK" and hung up the phone.

Then Marvin looked up and saw a young man walking to the woman with a takeout box in his hand.

Marvin had thought that Kelly would reject the young man.

To his surprise, after refusing him several times, she took the box over and even seemed to blush. Then she said something to the man.

The young man smiled and chatted with her for a while before leaving.

Marvin could tell at once that the man was her pursuer.

Marvin snorted and thought, she attracts all kinds of lousy men alright.
