Chapter 3: Stranger

I pictured everything I was going to do next but what I just did was not what I planned even I myself was shocked.

I fell on my knees begging, holding his legs as I begged for my life.

My actions were stupid, I know! But I couldn't bring myself to run away, what was wrong with me?

"I didn't see your face, you can just leave, I promise I won't raise an alarm.

I swear, I would forget this ever happened, please just don't kill me or hurt anyone, please. "

Was that my mouth running?

What the heck!

Run!

I screamed in my head urging my body to do the right thing, but unfortunately...

My eyes were heavy, the cold must be getting to me.

No!

I must stay awake. I went limp and fell unconscious to the ground.

The figure froze, staring hard at the limp body close to his feet. His eyes flashed and his jaw worked an indication that he was very mad.

He turned to leave, when his leg slightly gazed her skin and the heat penetrated through his thick jeans.

She was unbelievably hot, beyond humanly possible.

He stood still for a long time, then he groaned loudly, slowly bent and picked her up moving towards the bed. He laid her down gently, and looked around the room, when his eyes found what he was looking for, he unwilling moved towards it.

He picked up the bowl filled with chocolate bars and frowned. He dumped it into the waste bin and went to fill it with cold water picking a towel on his way out of the bathroom.

He stared at the figure on the bed, glaring.

Was this was he was sent to protect and guide?

He gazed at her disappointed.

"This is a waste of my time and talent " He angrily muttered

He dipped the towel in the warm water and laid it on her forehead gently moving it back and forth trying his very best not to wake her up. Despite his unwillingness and how obvious it was that he really hated what he was doing, he was still very gentle with her like he was handling a golden egg.

The girl kept mumbling something in her sleep and it kept frustrating him, she suddenly grinned in a creepy way and he cried out falling on his butt and in the process knocking the bowl and spilling it's content.

"This is a waste of time " He complained to no one in particular.

He stood up glaring, bent down again and put his huge hand on her forehead, closing his eyes in concentration suddenly a silvery light appeared circling her as if contemplating. After ten seconds of moving around, it suddenly dashed forward and entered her body through her nostrils.

She sneezed and her body temperature suddenly went back to normal.

He glared again, he noticed he kept doing this just seconds after meeting her.

"At least she's pretty" He muttered. After making sure she was safely wrapped in her blanket he decided to leave. As he was about to jump out of her window, he saw cops swarming the area, the lack of light in the always busy area must have caught their attention.

"Dammit! " He muttered.

He let himself get carried away that he forgot he was timed.
