Leo shook Aleya's hand for a long time, while Aleya tried to let go. Even Leo was silent for a while as if he felt something on Aleya's hand. Something different.
And immediately, with the angelic power at her disposal, Aleya was forced to withdraw her hand.
Leo was immediately taken aback. "Umm, sorry. By the way, have you had breakfast?" Leo asked pleasantly.
"Well, I've had breakfast."
"Do you want breakfast again with me?" Leo offered.
Aleya blinked her eyes. Her eyes glanced in all directions, looking for Gabriel or Ivoria who might be monitoring her. She didn't know what to say, because according to her, she had already eaten breakfast and if she ate anything else in excess, it was not good. At least, that was what The Father taught the angels of Heaven.
"Wait a minute, I'm going to call someone," Aleya finally said.
She moved out of Leo's reach so that when she spoke on the phone, Leo couldn't hear her. And forced, Aleya contacted Ivoria.
"Shalom. What, Aleya?" Ivoria asked.
"Shalom, Leo asked me for breakfast. Should I answer yes or no? I mean, I already had breakfast, Ivoria."
"Are you hungry at this time?" Ivoria asked realistically.
Aleya touched her stomach. The breakfast she ate was a little impressive. But The Father taught them to be grateful for what they eat.
"Maybe," replied Aleya then.
"Then it's okay if you want to have breakfast again. I think he needs a friend when you show up."
"Ah, all right. Thank you, Ivy. God bless you!"
Aleya immediately hung up the call and she drew closer to Leo. Leo was really waiting for her without showing a bored expression. He even seemed to hope that Aleya would immediately accept his invitation.
"So, are you coming with me or not?" asked Leo.
Aleya then pointed her pinky finger at Leo. And again, her actions made Leo confused.
"Are you promising that we won't touch unless by accident? I mean, I'm quite holy and I don't want any intimate touch or anything like that. I mean, I don't want to make myself sin," Aleya asked as she explained.
This was the first time Leo had met a girl who made him weird but also caught his eye. And because he didn't want to linger outside his office and be the center of attention, he finally joined his little finger to Aleya's pinky finger.
"I promise," Leo said.
Aleya smiled faintly then immediately released her pinky finger. Then she saw Leo open the car door which he was told to enter first. Then Aleya got in and this was the first time she felt the atmosphere in the car after she died.
She and Leo kept silent. Aleya blinked a few times because she was confused about what topic to talk to Leo about.
But even though she was silent and trying to find a topic, Aleya kept praying in her heart that she didn't mean to sin but to do her job.
"So what's your job?" Leo suddenly asked, taking her by surprise.
"Eh? Oh ... I work in the social sector. Errr, it's like being a counseling counselor," answered Aleya somewhat nervously.
Leo nodded in understanding. He began to realize why Aleya's way of speaking had been strange. And when he knew his job, it all made sense.
"Are you going to be honest about why you were standing in front of my company building like that earlier?" Leo asked, still curious about Aleya's behavior earlier.
"I've been honest. And that answer was completely honest, Leo."
Leo cleared his throat as he loosened his tie which seemed to make him suffocate or heat up with the situation around him since Aleya got into his car.
"By the way, don't you have an appointment with your client? But why did you take me to breakfast?" asked Aleya without feeling that she was monitoring someone's activity.
Of course, this made Leo quite surprised many times. He had never told Aleya in this first meeting that he had an appointment with his client. And finally, in his mind the question arises, how did Aleya know that?
"Well... by the way, how do you know if I have an appointment with my client?" Leo asked.
Aleya immediately realized. She was surprised by the surprise she made herself. But she was also pretty good at adjusting to situations. "You look good, you come out of that tall building of yours in the morning, then I assume, what if not to meet a client? Well, rather than that, a friend must know quite well what her friend is going to do. Right, isn't it?" explained Aleya long.
Leo's brows furrowed together. Aleya's explanation at the beginning made sense. But again, he and Aleya had only met a few minutes ago.
"And apart from that, you and I just met, Miss Aleya. I mean, we did become friends when we met earlier. But it feels... sorry, never mind," said Leo, finally resigned and didn't want to hurt the girl.
As an angel who didn't want to think negatively, Aleya nodded without asking what words made Leo stop. Although she was actually curious, but she didn't want to make herself feel difficult.
Aleya could hear Leo sigh a few times while looking at his tablet. His gigantic fingers moved quickly as if he was a real professional.
"Becoming the CEO must be difficult for you. A lot of money, has many partners in the business, but is quite lonely because there is no one you can share with," said Aleya without looking at him.
Leo's fingers stopped moving. He really felt the words that Aleya said were very true for him. And he did know that it was for him.
"But now I have you as a friend to share stories with, don't I?" Leo replied to Aleya.
Aleya turned with her sweet smile which made her body look more shiny and radiant. Leo thought he was the only one who felt it or that was how Aleya's body looked. But he didn't want to think about it too deeply.
"Yes, sure. You have me to share stories with," Ivy replied to her.
this is the girls should start it all first. I mean, you're free to start if you want, just don't be shy. but if you are already embarrassed about doing something, then you should say goodbye.
but I know that not all girls are the same. I just want you to speak up for your comfort zone.
