Chapter 22: "Morning After Revelations"

The next morning at the breakfast table, Anupriya and Ayesha were busy preparing breakfast with the help of the servants. The table was set with an array of dishes, and the delicious aroma filled the air.

Abhimanyu, in his usual composed demeanor, was having breakfast while simultaneously working on his laptop. His focused expression only added to his air of mystery.

Anupriya couldn't help but steal glances at him, a tingling feeling in her heart after the events of the previous night. She had noticed Abhimanyu's glances during the charades game, and it had left her feeling both flustered and intrigued.

Just then, Karthik, sporting casual shorts and a bedhead, came down, looking like he had a rough morning. He approached the breakfast table and spoke in a groggy voice.

Karthik: "Morning, folks. I think I need a hangover drink."

Abhinav followed behind Karthik, wearing pajamas and looking equally disheveled.

Ayesha, who had prepared the hangover drinks, handed one to Karthik but averted her eyes as she did so. This sudden shift in her behavior made Karthik uneasy. He began to doubt himself, wondering if he had done something last night while he was drunk that made Ayesha uncomfortable.

Karthik: "Ayesha, is everything alright? You're acting a bit strange."

Ayesha quickly composed herself and forced a smile.

Ayesha: "Oh, it's nothing, Karthik. Just a bit tired from all the fun we had last night."

Karthik, still puzzled, decided not to press the matter further and took the hangover drink, hoping it would alleviate his headache.

Ramya emerged from her room, looking equally disheveled, and approached the table.

Ramya: "Good morning, everyone. I could use a hangover drink too."

Abhinav, who had been quiet until now, felt a certain awkwardness in the air as there something happensed between him and Ramya the previous night. They both want to avoid each other as much as possible for some reason. Ramya start talking to distract everyone attention from her and abhinav awkward reaction to each other.

Ramya turned to Abhimanyu and asked, "Abhimanyu, last night, where were you?"

Abhimanyu, momentarily taken aback, replied, "I was working in another room. You know how I am with my projects."

Anupriya's was also taken aback by Ramya's question to abhimanyu for some reason.

Ramya nodded but seemed to have more questions. As everyone began to discuss their plans for the day and relive the memories from the night before, there was an underlying tension in the air.
