2 - The couple

In the depths of hell, the sinners are killing others, robbing, smoking, destroying buildings, and other sinful activities. In the meantime, Charlie was frustrated since no demon but her friends comes to her hotel, the Hazbin Hotel. Her girlfriend, Vaggie, tries to lighten the mood for Charlie.

"Hey, we'll find a way. Trust me, sooner or later, demons will find their way to your hotel," Vaggie says to Charlie in a soft and reassuring tone, while she is gently rubbing her girlfriend's back.

Still, Charlie is in no good mood. She always had tried her best to stop the angels from extinguishing demons' lives. Yet she could not do a single bit to stop it, no, the opposite: she made it worse. From one day in a year to every six months, and now is her Hotel their first target.

Charlie looks at Vaggie with a disappointed and frustrated expression, and responds: "But... I really tried my best... I've made plans, tried to help us all... But I just made it worse! I'm really no good for this Hotel, for this hell..." She blames herself for all the situations she had failed, for the situations she couldn't protect her hell.

Vaggie felt guilty and wrapped her arms around Charlie from the side. "No, Charlie, you're good for your hotel, for your hell. Not a single sinner could have told the angels to stop and that they would immediatelly obey. You've tried your best, my love, and you should not blame yourself for things you cannot change or control." Vaggie reassures and hopes that she could encourage her girlfriend.

Morningstar sighes, but feels better now. "Thank you, my dear," she said as she plants a kiss on Vaggie's forehead, "You're always with me, and this gives me the power to see forward. You are the best." Charlie told her girlfriend with a smile.

In the early evening, Charlie is already planning how to defend her friends and hell.
