Changes

I think I'ma make this Arc only last for 3 more chapters of his past life. Or at least try to.

—————————————————————————————————————————-

Looking at Laplace walk back to the castle in the shadows, he also makes his way to the castle.

Climbing up the stairs quickly, he holds the staff with a stiff face.

Getting to a door, he busts into it.

"What did you give that child Morgana?" Raising his voice at her, Merlin waits for a response.

Tapping her finger on the chair she is sitting on, she smiles. "Scared your son is going to have dangerous magic?" Looking at the moon Illuminating on her, she keeps a smug look. "All I gave our son was my magic diary, which has almost every spell I ever made."

Pointing his staff at her. Magic starts to form in the air. "I spent years fortifying the lie that our son is your sibling; this is to make sure the prophecy doesn't come true."

"I'm not the type of woman to keep my son in the dark, and you know… you don't wanna die at his hands." Reaching for her wand. She's not able to grab it. Merlin destroys the entire room in seconds.

Transforming into a bird, she makes it out before he can cast that spell. Transforming back, she summons her wand.

"Escaping like always. I expected nothing less." Moving his eyes on her, he waves his staff. Feeling the entire terrain change, Morgana smiles. "Expecting nothing less, I must say. You still fight like you're my master." Waving her wand, she begins to float.

Whispering under her breath. Multiple fireballs begin to form around her, smiling. She sends them straight to Merlin.

Seeing the curses, Merlin blocks them. "Your magic is too weak to hurt me." Breathing in and out. The entire surrounding area becomes pure ice.

"Absolute ice?" Taking her wand, she summons another fire curse. This time, a ring around her to keep her warm.

"Something similar, something that requires magic to be everywhere." Moving his staff. "The spell is called Absolute Zero. Absolute ice isn't that powerful. And it seems like I'm still teaching you." Smirking at that, he slams his staff into the ground.

"I'll take care of our son." Sprouting up from the ground, trees, grass, and vegetation, an entire forest starts forming around Morgana. "Merlin…" Feeling the trees take over her body, she stops breathing.

Casting an illusion spell, she quickly makes it like a clone of herself within seconds to match her magic wave.

Standing there, he tries to feel her magic. "She's dead." Looking up at the stars, Mercury is shining brightly. "Is the fight not over with?" Saying that out loud, he sees a magic spell coming to his head.

Ducking down, he cast another spell, only for her to escape quickly.

"LAPLACE!"

Busting into his room, Morgana hurries up and grabs him.

"We have to go."

Not getting a chance to respond, their environment changes again.

Appearing in the middle of the woods.

She looks around her, takes his arm, and runs deeper into the woods. "Sorry, the place we're going has restrictive magic by it."

Running for 10 minutes straight, they finally make it to the house.

The dark sky seemingly fits the ambiance.

Looking at the place, it was an old rustic cabin.

Getting to the door first, Morgana pulls him quickly, then tries to open the door, but it barely budges. "Alohomora." Unlocking the door, she quickly strides in with him behind her.

"Go to the back room there." Directing him quickly, Laplace looks at the house.

Seeing a chair and a fireplace, he feels like it's a homely house.

Moving further inside, an older woman is in the kitchen.

"Morgana, it seems like you're back."

Hearing the voice it's filled with elegance but also pride.

Laplace feels like he heard a similar voice to this woman.

"Yes, yes, I'm here, Mom. With my son."

"Son?"

Hearing him say that, Morgana looks at him with tears. "Go to the room I told you to go to. I'll tell you about it later." Nodding his head, he goes to the back of the cabin.

Looking at him leave. Morgana goes to the kitchen.

"Morgana." Entering the kitchen, her mom is staring at her.

"Yes, mother." Taking a seat, she looks at her mom with a pained expression.

"You decided to come back." Picking up her wand, her hands don't stop, and three different cups appear.

"It's great I could see you and Merlin's child again."

"Stop being sarcastic. You didn't want to see me. And you barely wanted to see your grandchild."

Forming a hostile environment, they both don't speak.

Picking up the drink her mother gave to her, she continues with her sarcastic onslaught

"You know, you say that. But Arthur's children are vastly better."

Holding a bitter smile at her daughter's words. She walks to the room that Laplace is in.

"Don't say anything weird to my son."

"You're already in the wrong for not telling my grandson you're his mom." Finishing the conversation, Morgana looks at the drink while her mom takes one of them to Laplace.
