"To completely restore the place after it was turned into fine powder as expected of Kai-sama."
The greater demon fanatically praised, its eyes burning with passion.
I rub my nose having grown accustomed to such praises.
This greater demon reminds me of my first servant in this world, Chloe Rollo who I met two years ago.
(That's a story for another.)
…
"You're something else on your own, to be able to use nuclear magic and parallel casting at the same time at your level of evolution is spectacular."
It was my honest evaluation.
Being praised the demon's soul seems to ascend to a higher plane leaving behind its body.
But just as it reached the boundary to the higher plane it snaps out back to reality it returning back to it's body.
Still having the same fanatical look on it's eyes the demon kneel before me.
"May I serve you from now on, great one?"
The demon asked me in a trembling voice nervously awaiting my answer in anticipation.
"Well that's the plan from the beginning…"
I replied in a nonchalant manner shrugging the back of my head.
Hearing my answer the greater demon bowed deeper planting its forehead on the artificial ground leaving a dent.
Looking down I couldn't help but have a weary smile.
"You don't have a name right. Why don't I give you one…" (Kai)
"It is my honor to receive a name from you, oh great one." (Demon)
"From now on you'll be… wait before giving you a name, do you have any other form apart from your original based demon form. Surely, you must have a human form of sorts for disguise or something similar, right. I can use it as preference to the name I'll be giving you. (Kai)
The demon nodded frantically in acknowledgement before a dark shadowy sticky substance enveloped it's body, lasting for about a few seconds until a figure resembling an elf emerges.
She has the look of a charming elven girl with silver hair and eyes that are amethyst with a bluish tint to them.
She wears dark-purple thigh-high socks with golden frills on the top, a dark-purple one-piece mini-dress with golden flower decorations.
"Satella…"
I unconsciously mumbled as I look at her stunned.
I don't know what had gotten into me and why the name Satella seems to be the most fitted one for her.
The voice of the world accepting this as my cue due to my intent to named her began to suck my [Limitless] magicules sending it to the greater demon who's now named Satella.
.
.
.
In this version the young Satella wasn't able to took in the incompatible witch factors escaping her rough destiny but in exchange for her life.
After her death she found herself in the spiritual world (demon world), where she needed to fight an endless battle against others of her kind.
However, unlike the other demons she's a special case of her own.
Having memories of her past life Satella was able to rise in rank from being a mere lesser demon into a peak greater demon in just a few years after her reincarnation.
She becomes part of the black family, a lineage of demons who have unique circumstances and personalities of their own.
Time passed by her once reckless, pure, and honest personality while still present was overshadowed by her demonic tendencies.
It's not obvious but Satella is a hardened battle maniac.
She has many records of challenging the primordial demons in battles.
She fought the red, blue, green yellow, white and black primordial.
She avoided violet because that one is bad news in a unique way and Satella did not want to be infected with violet's sadistic tendencies.
Unfortunately, she always lost and died.
What's more frustrating to her is that she always lost against the primordial demons not due to overwhelming power but due to the vast difference in their experience and techniques.
Besides every primordial being is too cunning and tricky to deal with, even the primordial yellow whose known to be a muscle brain is out of her reach.
Nevertheless she is able to give the primordial demons a good fight every time they clash befriending them and earning their respect.
Primordial violet even went to her way to challenge her personally in order to gauge her strength though she lost she was capable of giving violet a challenging match.
She was invited by violet to be her servant where she politely declined.
As of now, the only reason why she is stuck on being a greater demon is because she's but a nameless demon and never once she was summoned to the material world.
.
.
.
A normal day in the demon world the nameless greater demon (Satella) was on her way to once again challenge the primordial black in order to refine her close quarter combat skills to greater heights.
Wandering in the barren land searching for Noir she was blocked and attacked by some foolish newborn lesser demons, and prideful greater demons on her way.
Nevertheless none of these foolish demons is able to leave a scratch on her.
On the other hand the older ones and some arch demons who don't have a physical body and was force back to the spiritual world avoided her treating her as someone whose only below the primordial demons in terms of might and standing.
"Noir pardon my intrusion…"
Said the greater demon (Satella) as she invaded Noir the black primordial's temporary domain.
Unlike the other primordial demons who stayed in their territories, Noir the black primordial is an oddball who always wanders around the place with his crystal ball of spying.
"Did I intrude on something interesting…"
She asked in a respectful tone.
The greater demon (Satella) treated the other primordial demons based on their personalities.
Which earned her the respect and friendship of each of them.
"Worry not I'm only observing humans as usual…" (Noir)
"So did you find something interesting this time?" (Satella)
"Nothing this time…" (Noir)
"What's so interesting about humans?"
Questioned the nameless greater demon (Satella).
"Humans are very fascinating, although most of them are foolish and ridiculous. In fact, some of them are very intriguing." (Noir)
