_04_ (Third Person's Point of View)

"Girls," Lavalee called their attention while looking over the window

She can see the cars that Police Detective Scott and his men are using, and they can't help but feel quite challenged by their presence.

"On it," Jess said and they all went to the basement of the mansion

They have all expected that being heiresses of rich families, especially Lavalee who is the second child of the first rank family in the world's richest families, will mean that the authorities and politicians will eye them either for protection or for personal interest.

"The lights are off, Lav," Chelsea said while facing one of the computers, she's in charge of turning off the lights to give their bodyguards the message that they have gone to bed

"Our clothes are ready," Jess informed them

"I've finished turning off the cameras, but it will be back as soon as we arrive in the underground parking lots" Chelsea reported next and placed her laptop inside her backpack

They headed to their respective elevators and changed their clothes. When they arrived at the parking lot, they are already wearing uniform clothes and a mask covering half of their face.

Their masks serve as their protection so no one will find out about their identity while they're fighting in the underground arena.

Irene, the one driving the car that night, drove out of the subdivision through the underground tunnel, then exited at the side of the guard house. Chelsea hacked into the guard's computer to turn off and freeze the footage from the surveillance camera as their cars pass through the gate.

The guard assigned, who is one of the men working under the Hanazaki Empire, immediately understood what the freezing of the footage meant and immediately opened the gate for them to pass through.

They dropped by their hideout to get their respective cars and to park the car that they will be using when they go back to the subdivision. By exactly eleven in the evening, they arrived at the underground arena.

"Ready?" Lavalee asked, testing her voice changer after she went out of her car

"Ready!" Irene said and after hearing her voice Jess immediately felt annoyed

"When are you changing that voice of yours, Eris?" she asked in annoyance

"This helps me get used to your high-pitched voice, Calliope." Irene, or at this moment, Eris, replied

"Themis, my voice is not that high-pitched!" Calliope, or Jess, complained to Chelsea, or as she called her, Themis

"It's called a voice changer for a reason," Chelsea, or as she was referred to in this place, Themis replied

"Let's go, I'm itching to beat someone," Eris said

"Alright, let's go inside." Lavalee, or Harmony, as the embroidery in the jacket she rolled up and tied around her waist introduced her to be, said

They walked into the underground arena, this place is where all the gangsters in the area meet and fight. As soon as they entered, everyone's eyes turned to them because of how heavy their auras are.

Those who haven't been in the arena that long began to tremble and some even fainted from the pressure they emit, while those who have been there long enough to withstand their terrifying presence still couldn't help but shake.

The gangster arena's top ranker couldn't help but watch their every move, they are the only ones to be able to withstand the pressure their presence brings but it doesn't mean they can just shake it off.

Harmony and Themis walked behind Calliope and Eris, they are the Muse Gang, but the gangsters in this arena wouldn't recognize them just by their presence.

This is because only the overall top rankers of each state and province in every country could access the black web where the World Ranking is posted.

The noisy arena has fallen silent and only the clicking of their wedges can be heard.

"We'll fight," Eris said, the sound of her voice, as high-pitched as it is, still felt cold to those who heard it

"W-who w-will y-you fight?" the emcee asked while trembling

"Your highest rank," Harmony said with her cold voice full of authority, it was especially scary because Harmony's voice changer made her voice sound like two people are speaking

Harmony's response made the intimidation that the gangsters in the arena felt dissipate into disapproval, for them, although these newcomers did possess an intimidating and terrifying aura, that's that.

They didn't think these newcomers are any match for their top-ranked, the Venomous Angels, and so they began cheering and chanting for them.

"V-A-G! V-A-G" the gangsters began cheering as they descended into the fighting grounds

"Our very own top rank, the Venomous Angels have accepted the unknown gang's challenge!" the emcee announced and went up to the safe area where the fight won't implicate him

"The Venomous Angels Gang against the Unknown Gang, fight!" the emcee served as the referee as well

Eris and Calliope stepped forward when all the members of Venomous Angels Gang stepped forward.

"You're underestimating us, huh?" Ivy, the leader of Venomous Angels Gang, said

"What can two weaklings like you do against the ten of us?" Lily proudly said

'Weaklings? Wrong word, dear.' Harmony thought while staring at Eris and Calliope

This is the reason why Calliope and Eris are always the first ones to fight.

They would often be taunted, and so, they decided to let their hotheaded members attack first to prove that they are not to be underestimated even when they let their emotions drive their bodies in fighting.

When the bell rang, the fight started, and Eris and Calliope were both surrounded by all ten members of the Venomous Angels immediately.

"Where's your courage now? Weak." Ivy taunted Eris who is just dodging her every attack

Eris and Calliope were studying their moves, and after figuring out their patterns, they will then retaliate. That's how they fight and make sure that they will always have an opening, for both an attack and defense.

Without anyone noticing, Eris managed to kick all of their feet and they stumbled down. Eris studied martial arts since she was young and started kickboxing when she entered her teens and so her fighting prowess was above any average gangster.

Eris pulled their feet and started to turn while holding their feet, she turned like a top, and while Ivy was regaining her consciousness Eris let go of the member she was holding.

She used inertia to her advantage in the fight, and so, she was able to lift the member of the Venomous Angels Gang when the latter tried to lift herself back up.

The members hit Ivy and caused her to lose consciousness.

Meanwhile, Calliope was enjoying the fight. She hadn't fought for a while and that makes her thrilled again, however, that thrill didn't last long because a few minutes later, she got bored, and immediately ended the fight.

They both stood up on stage and took the microphone from the emcee who was stupefied by the outcome of their match.

"Eris, fourth rank." Eris said and wore her black and maroon jacket with 'Eris' embroidered on it,

"Calliope, Third rank," Calliope said and did the same thing

Everyone cannot believe their eyes and what they are hearing, and they couldn't help but glance at the two other members; Harmony and Themis, who didn't join the fight.

"What's y-your gang name?" The emcee asked despite the nervousness

"Muse," Harmony's cold voice echoed making everyone gasp

Muse gang.

The first rank in the overall ranking, the gangster goddesses.

They wear identical black wedges, black crop tops, black leggings, and black masks with their jackets tied on their waists. The embroidery isn't visible because it is always rolled up.

After that, they left the gangster arena and the baffled gangsters. They head back to their hideout where they changed their clothes and rode the car they used when they drove out of the subdivision, they placed the clothes they wore that night in a paper bag and placed it in the compartment.

Lavalee drove and she drove to a beach.

"Lavalee, it's already midnight." Chelsea reminded her after she left the car

"I know. I'm just checking something." She said and walked away from the car then approached a tree

They couldn't help but feel curious as well so they went out of the car and followed her.

"Lavalee, what are you doing?" Jess asked her

"They've been here," Lavalee said while touching the bark.

"Who?" Irene asked

"Never mind." She said and walked back to the car leaving them confused

Jess and Chelsea glanced at each other with an unasked question in their heart, but Irene followed Lavalee without any question.

Lavalee drove back to their mansion and they dispersed in the hallway to their respective rooms to change their clothes and rest.

Chelsea was about to rest in her bed when she went to the window, from where her room is located, she can see the front of the mansion.

Their rooms are strategically located in a way that they can monitor the sides of the mansion and will be able to inform the others in case of anything suspicious.

Chelsea saw the officers still outside and an idea popped into her mind so she went out and entered the elevator to the third floor.

She looked for Lavalee's room then knocked.

"Yes?" Lavalee asked as soon as she opened the door

"Lavaleee, how about we invite them in? Look, we aren't going out again." Chelsea said immediately

"It's already one in the morning, Chels." Lavalee replied, chuckling a bit

She's also considering Chelsea's suggestion but to invite them in at the current time may raise suspicion.

Chelsea showed the surveillance camera from her window that shows the officers' cars.

"Go invite them in," Lavalee said with a light smile making Chelsea look at her weirdly

"Lavalee, this is your house." Chelsea reminded

"Fine, tomorrow," Lavalee said

"Good night, Chels," Lavalee said and Chelsea nodded

"Hmm, good night, Lav," Chelsea said
