The Dream

Remember they are rigged to collapse five minutes after the doors close and lock. So go as fast as you can. Don't stop unless you have to."

At that moment the alarm went off. Emily was pulled out of the dream. After hitting the alarm she laid there for a minute. Was it just a dream or what? So she got up and got dressed. Then when she was ready she went to talk to her mother.

"Mom I just had the strangest dream. You said my mom's name was Angel right? I don't think she was my mom I think she was my aunt. I think it was some kind of war that my family ran from. It's possible my mom is alive. I'm not sure if it was a real dream or something that I made up."

I swear that's the whole dream. Was it just a dream or is there truth to it? Tell me I'm not crazy."

"Well Emily I know your not crazy so calm down. Also there are things I never told you that your dream did that makes me believe it's real. No one ever told you that your mom was pregnant. So you had to have heard it somewhere. But now we know Angel was your Aunt so that's nice I guess. I am sorry you lost your Aunt. But I wonder who the man was. He had to be her husband, but I have no idea who he was. Although the part about vampires makes me wonder if you didn't add things to your dream."

"I don't know it was like I was listening to these two people talk. What if there really was some kind of war. What if my family is alive, What if there really are Vampires? Why did they want the children killed? Oh mom I think I am going crazy now. What do we do?"

I have been honored to be your mother all these years and it would be my privilege and honor to reunite you with her. Now let's go get that necklace. I want you to wear it everyday.
