Chapter 16

Aslan releases the other wolf, Vardan, who runs away.

Aslan ordered Orius and Hadrian"After him,Hadrian. He'll lead you to Edmund."

Hadrian transformed into his wolf form with Orius behind him, they charge with a thunder of hoofs and beating of wings a dozen or so of the swiftest creatures disappeared into the gathering darkness.

Peter, still out of breath, turned and saw Aslan close at hand.

Aslan looked at Peter and said"Peter. Clean your sword."

Aslan. It was true. Peter blushed when he looked at the bright blade and saw it all smeared with the Wolf's hair and blood. He stooped down and wiped it quite clean on the grass, and then wiped it quite dry on his coat.

Then Peter placing his sword in the grass and Aslan removing his paw from his shoulder.

Aslan proclaimed"Rise, Sir Peter Wolf's-Bane, Knight of Narnia."

Peter, Lucy and Susan all smile at each other,this felt like a big moment for them.

In the Witch's camp a group of her army was gathering and making weapon,armours...etc.

When with a rush and a snarl a Vardan rushed up to them.

The small group of gathered by Jadis were confused,but that was broken when they heard

that very moment he heard loud shouts from every direction a drumming of hoofs and a beating of wings

Presently the centaurs and unicorns and deer and birds (they were of course the rescue party which Aslan had sent in the last chapter) all set off to go back to the Stone Table, carrying Edmund with them. But if they could have seen what happened in that valley after they had gone, I think they might have been surprised.

Hadrian with trasformed into his human form and with wave of hand sent a blast of energy that knocked the minotaur and dwarves.

While Oreius with his group took out the other guards near Edmund,

Hadrian started used cuttinng spell to cut off Edmunds binds,Hadrian ordered"we have to move quickly before Jadis arrives."

Hadrian told everyone "Grab on to me"so they did, with Hadrian disapparated which was seen as twisted and swirled into nothing within a swirling clear haze, accompanied with a loud rustling or rushing sound, while usually ending in a crack, as if he is being sucked into a vortex.

But Edmund here was throughly confused just at this point Edmund went off in a dead faint.

General Otmin,who was a huge Minotaur, much larger and more powerfully built than other Minotaurs, which is no doubt why he was their leader. His fur and skin were a dark black in colour, while his horns were a typical bone colour, with metal tips included at the end of each of them, no doubt to make them extra sharp, thus making them extra dangerous in battle.

Also,he was the General of Jadis' Army. He was the undisputed chieftain of the other Minotaurs, while his skills as both a fierce warrior and a capable tactician, as well as his loyalty to his Queen, made him one of Jadis' most trusted agents, and awarded him the prestigious command over her soldiers.

So he was explaining the war plan to Jadis"The minotaurs will take the left flanks. We'll keep the giants in reserve and send the dwarfs in first."

White Witch looks at the plans and nods in agreement. But then shouting interrupted them,which was on the other side of the camp.

Otmin understood and immediately spoke up"The prisoner!"

White Witch stood up and stalked through camp and finds Ginnabrik tied to Edmunds tree, gagged and with the point of his long hat pinned to the tree by a dagger.She looks around to find some of gathered arny killed,so feeling sligtly angery

She takes the knife and looks like she's going to kill him then cuts his binds down.

Just as she was walking back a terrified Ginarrbrik looking at Jadis questioned"You're not going to kill me?"

White Witch simply replied"Not yet."she then turns to Otmin and added"We have work to do."
