4- plans and new weapon

"Hades, brother, come here we are having a meeting to discuss our next steps." Zeus says as he waves toward me.

We've been here for about a day and in that time I've spent most of it asking about the world. The first thing I learned was that Rhea was at mount Othrys and since she was officially still married to Cronus it would be weird for her to live somewhere else.

I also met with Amaltheia, the nymph that mostly took care of Zeus as a baby, and boy is she lovely. A humanoid goat woman with short fluffy white fur, curving horns like ear muffs and small hooves instead of feet. Although she is dressed in a Greek toga it does little to hide her impressive bust and plump ass that makes you want to grab it. After this war I might grab me a handful.

In the meeting room, which was just a small wooden hut, all 6 of us stood surrounding a large rectangular table. Zeus explained that to fight Cronus we would need weapons of great power that can rival even Cronus's scythe since with it he's basically invincible. He then brought up the main bit about having to go to the Underworld to rescue the Cyclops and hekatonchires since they're the only ones who can make it. This Is exactly how It went in mythos cannon so I knew their fate after the war, and planned to change it.

Since I need to go to the Underworld anyway I volunteered, receiving baffled stares and agape mouths. The Underworld has a... less than favorable reputation. So obviously someone wanting to go there is astonishing. Especially since there are stories of dragons eating people whole and the air being so hot your skin starts to melt.

"Are you sure?" Hestia asks quickly, hoping he'll change his mind.

"Yes sister, I have to, I doubt any of you wish to?" No one in the room refuted me, they were all too scared. Including the ever arrogant Zeus.

(Underworld)

The Underworld, a dark and gloomy place where the souls of the dead roam. The ceiling is pitch dark, the floor made entirely of cracked, red, smoldering rock, with sporadic pools of bubbling orange lava and the occasional lost soul wandering in the distance, creating a sense of foreboding. As you walk deeper into the never-ending realm of red and black you would begin to feel your skin crawling, hairs on end , eyes go dry, throat tighten, be assaulted with heat most intense and would commonly feel as if someone was behind you. To most, including gods, it is a most unpleasant experience even stepping foot in it, but to Hades, it felt like coming home after a long vacation. Welcoming.

1st pov

My first step into the underworld was a shock. As soon as my foot firmly touched the ground my whole body flexed and stiffened as a shock went through my spine. My eyes glowed with fiery power as they roared and flared with white orange power. The veins on my body popped and turned a sickly black color. My whole body and mind were assaulted with newfound power as I felt the entire Underworld at my fingertips, as if I could do anything, make anything.. destroy anything.

It lasted for but a moment and all was back to normal my body returning to its natural tone but my eyes gain a little more intensity.

As I'm walking through the Underworld I notice the occasional soul that looks like a blob of slime float by. From what I understand of Greek mythos, humans right now are unga bunga, dum dums that are mostly driven by instinct until Prometheus gives them fire/protection and then civilization begins to form. (The human part of this story will be a little finicky)

Once the humans have civilization and consciousness, and emotion, souls will become much, much more. Using my divinity I pull a soul into my grasp and start to read through it's memories. This soul was a hunter that was killed during a 'hunt', if you call running straight at a boar with a rock a hunt, very violently. The only emotions that the soul contained were fear, joy, and anger. No love or compassion.

Very basic humans.

Arriving at Tartarus, what greets me is a humongous ravine filled with impenetrable darkness. Seeing steps leading downward I head toward my goal descending into the prison of the damned.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Once I reach the bottom I see an endless sea of prison cells, on the way down were hundreds I could see, however most were filled with nothing but the skeleton of what once inhabited it.
As I walk through on the path I hear a chorus of screams and cries. A few of these imprisoned beings call out to be rescued but I ignore them, there is no way an innocent could ever enter Tartarus, including the cyclops. If one did then they would instantly be rejected and teleported to the mortal realm, for Tartarus has no place for the pure, as it's a prison for the evil.
Arriving at the cell that holds the cyclops with the hekatonchires adjacent to it I see beings dwarfing me in size, with one big beady eye and a square nose taking over half their faces.
"Who're you?" One cyclops asked in a dry, cracking voice, like a man without water for days.
"I'm Hades, a god and your rescuer." I simply wave my hand over the bars slowly and emit a wave of heat, turning it to into a watery slag. It was surprisingly easy since it was only enchanted on the inside.
I do the same for the Hekatonchires and we all start moving, without a word. It seems they don't trust me.
Bronte's pov
'Hmmm'. This...Hades, he called himself, reeks of Cronus, I do not trust him. No one just descends into Tartarus and rescues some prisoners for nothing, he'll most likely ask for a weapon, if so it must be nothing like that bastard Cronus's. I shall never allow my creations be used against me or my brothers again. Never.
We have endured enough. His face is marred in a scowl as he recounts his life for the past few thousand years.
While the cells were closed no voices may be spoken, no habits be fulfilled, nothing to distract from the ever active mind. In that hell where you're only left with your thoughts, the worst come to surface. You reflect on every choice that led you to where you are, and eventually you begin to think 'why me?', or 'If only'. The worst ideas come to bear when you realize, 'its all my fault'. Once you accept the reality that your own actions led to the eternal torment you now endure, one thought suddenly becomes much, much louder than the rest. Thankfully, this man had arrived or I fear what I might've done.
I shall see manner of monster we have.
Hades Pov
That was easier than I thought, I honestly expected some guardian of some kind to stop me but I guess no one thought someone would come to rescue anyone from Tartarus.
"As I'm sure you already figured out, I didn't rescue you for nothing, I'm the son of Cronus and soon, me and my siblings will usurp our father; but to do that we'll need weapons, provided by you." After the war I plan to get them to live in the Underworld since having strong, competent subordinates is a necessity and the Cyclops and Hekatonchires fit both those requirements.
"Now, I'm sure you're thinking 'Why the hell would we make the same mistake twice' well to answer your question, in exchange for your services and cooperation I will formally invite you to make the Underworld your permanent residence...That came out wrong, anyway I'll let you live here if you make my brothers some weapons. Deal?" I explained holding my hand out like a shady car salesman finalizing a sale.
"If you swear on the river Styx we have no qualms with that deal." Brontes gruff voice explained calmly.
Finding it a simple enough promise I comply "I swear..."
Arriving back to the island the cyclops already had weapon ideas in mind for my brothers, they have an eye for divinity, immediately getting to work after I conjured up some metal for them to work with. Though I'll be making my own weapon since I don't trust the Cyclops and I'm sure I can do better with my metal divinity.
Also, thanks to my wish of being god of the Underworld, I'm going to make it a hell like no other.
"TINK"
I've recently been exploring my ability to change the Underworld, and boy, was it cool.
"TINK"
The first thing I did was try to change the ugly floor to something nicer, ending up with a black brick like pattern on parts that I plan living at that says, 'gothic but not sad'.
"TINK"
The next thing I tried was climates or biomes. I first thought of the Nether from Minecraft but the Underworld was almost already exactly like that but less hot so it was simple to add an ocean of lava and increase the temperature by a few thousand degrees. I did this mostly near the center of the Underworld, where my HQ will be, since I've long stopped it's infinite expansion. Honestly, endlessness is so 14 billion years ago, get with the times universe.
"TINK"
I added biomes cold enough to freeze your very soul if not prepared, mostly for fun, and because some cultures perceive hell as cold instead of hot so, to not be biased, they were a must have.
"TINK"
I've also been, experimenting, on systems or process's since I know I'll need one once the influx of souls gets to much. What I'm thinking of doing is making a section of hell with the same concept of hell from the show 'lucifer', where your guilt imprisons you, however instead of replaying just one moment/moments it replays your entire life like a movie until you repent. Of course, this just acts as a sort of holding cell until I judge them myself. Also since the Underworld acts like the final destination, hell and heaven, I added the asphodel fields, basically an 'infinite' field of golden wheat, where you reunite with family and are forever happy. It's a classic.
"TI TINK CLANK"
Finally, I've finished my masterpiece. During my time in Cronus's stomach I've done some testing on how to bend and shape metal which ever way I want, and after centuries I'd say I'm pretty good.
What I have in my hands now is a brutal looking 11ft(he's 9ft) halberd. The axe is curved brilliantly, with an edge that looks like it'll cut you just by touching it, opposite the axe head is a hammer with spherical studs for extra umph, lastly a menacing black spike on top just begging to impale you with a skull pommel at the bottom to match. The color scheme is black, red, and gold.(Basic but best) There are etchings from doom slayer, lovecraft, transformers, AVP, and most media with supernatural beings, with skulls and bones near the edge, coming together to form a bloody battlefield, that if any normal human saw, would go insane within seconds of exposure to the scene due to some curse and soul magic I added.
This beauty has some amazing abilities, it will never leave my hand unless I will it to, none but the 'worthy'(me) can wield, and it's physically and magically indestructible not to mention the amount of power just holding it gives me. I'm pretty sure only OAA can destroy it or whoever 'author' is, and it can transform into a tattoo for ease of travel and an added coolness factor. The poleaxe was something on the same ground as mjolnir and Excalibur easily able to compete if not outdo since mine was made with Netherite a metal only found in hells that has the same properties of adamantium with the added benefit of conducting magic with insane efficiency.
