Chapter -6 Buying Mills (Part -1)

"Hey, brother. Why are you not playing with me like before?"

"Huh, you want to play with me? Why don't you ask your elder brother Maximilian instead of me?"

"He is always busy with his boring work. So, he has always kicked me out when I tried to ask."

Otto thought,

'I have always been busy in my past life with no leisure. Now that I have some time before everything gets serious, I should use that. I will become mad if I only think about work.'

"Alright, Let's play for some time."

"Yahoo, brother will be playing with me."

Then they went to his little brother Luitpold's room and start playing different types of games.

Slowly time passed and it became evening when they stopped their activities.

"Let's stop here Luitpold. It is evening now."

"Play some time more please, brother. Pleaseee."

"No, I will play tomorrow again."

"Okay."

"Alright, I am going back to my room."

Then Otto left the room.

More time passed just like this. The next day has come.

Otto, after waking up, started running around in the royal garden. Since he will need to increase his stamina and he needs to make sure his body is ready for Guns and Swords practice. 15 minutes later, he started doing light exercises like push up for around 20 minutes. After that, He called his Butler Michael to ready his bath. Sometime later, his butler came to him to take him to bathe.

After the bath, he went to the dining hall for breakfast. After his breakfast, he went to his brother Luitpold to play with him for some time.

"Hey, little bro! Ready to play conqueror today?"

"Yeah, which one are you taking today? I am going to take Vikings."

"I will take Crusaders then."

"Is that so??? Then, get ready to be demolished by my sea Vikings, Hahaha."

"Sea Vikings, then I will use sun crusaders to make your Vikings blind."

"How dare you do it? I will not fall back. I will fight, uaah, my eyes are really blind. I will still fight."

"What ???? what is that?? What is this shield? I am dying, uggh. I am dead."

"I am the winner. hahaha."

They played like this for the whole day. After the evening, Otto went back to his room and summoned his butler. Michael started his voice,

"Tell me, milord, what is your order?"

"Hey, Michael. Did you complete the work that I have given to you?"

"Yeah, it has been already completed. Do you want to see it now?"

"Yeah, show me now."

"Wait a minute, Milord."

A minute later,

"Here it is. Please check it."

"Okay."

He started checking the document properly. From there, he learned that there are a lot of prominent industries available in Munich. They are Brewing, Textiles, Printing and Publishing, Metalworking, Leatherworking, Pottery and Ceramics, Clockmaking, Woodworking and Furniture. The industry is still in its primitive stage. He had decided to go into Brewing, Textiles and Printing and publishing industries. The brewing industry is one of the industries that can also help him in Greece since Greece is one of the best Grape producers in the world. A Printing and Publishing company is needed for the intelligence network he is going to make.

"I will target Brewing, Textiles and Printing and publishing industries. How much money do I have now?"

"11290 Guldens, Milord. Instead of making a new company, it seems that you are trying to invest in old companies. Which company do you want to buy, Milord?"

"What is your recommendation?"

"Lindauer'sche Buchdruckerei, Palm and Enke Verlag for Printing and publishing industries, Hacker-Pschorr, Augustiner-Bräu for Brewing industries, Heinrich Anton Wolff for textile industries."

"Do we have the necessary amount of money to buy these companies?"

"Let me show you the documents about their estimation price and their present state of the situation. Please watch these documents, Milord. You will be interested in them I can guarantee you."

"Hmm, they all really need immediate funds that is the common point among them. This is why you are confident. Hehe. That is better. Start making preparation for buying these companies. I will also meet their owners. If they are suitable enough to lead my company, I will hire them. You can go and complete your job as fast as possible."

"Okay, Milord. I will complete your task. I am leaving then."

Michael left the room. Otto was in deep thought.

'That is settled. Now, I need to approach my father to tell him about these transactions. He should allow me to buy these companies. If he would not, I will tell him that if I cannot make any good income from them, I will not enter in Business before 17. But if I can, then he needs to give me loans whenever I needed. He will just look down on me and accept my challenge thinking that a child like me, who have no knowledge about the world, can easily lose the bet. I will use that to my advantage.'

"I am going to meet with my father then."

Then he went to his father's office and started knocking on the door of his office.

"Father, can I enter? I need to talk about something."

Note: The Bavarian Gulden was the official currency of the Kingdom of Bavaria during that period. It was a unit of currency that had several divisions, including:
