Narrator's POV
A few days have passed since Dipper got his own base.
Only he and old McGucket were allowed in this place. They were conducting experiments that Ford considered dangerous.
Currently, Dipper is studying the destruction of information at the quantum level, or simply the erasure of information.
The reason for this sudden interest in this branch of quantum physics is GiFfany, but also Bill Cipher.
Dipper is wary of abstract beings that could influence matter in one way or another through various catalysts. So he wanted to create a weapon capable of being fatal to them.
To achieve his goal, he used the Memory Gun as a base.
It was the only thing he knew capable of affecting "information" through waves.
He also used GIFfany and souls obtained from the supernatural market of Gravity Falls to help him better understand "energy" and its connection to information.
He first performed some tests, like trying to erase the entire memories of a soul with the Memory Gun after studying it. Of course, he failed.
This was due to the functioning of the Memory Gun itself. This object affects the neurological pathways containing memory, and a soul alone doesn't have that.
He then decided to create a different version of the Memory Gun that would specialize in the quantum disruption of an object or being through waves carrying a particular frequency.
The goal is to make a being interact strongly with the environment at the quantum scale to create quantum decoherence between it and its environment or another being.
Or to put it simply, Dipper wants to force the information of a being to mix with that of the environment or another person to disrupt it, and he's counting on the waves produced by the Memory Gun as a basis for this objective.
The waves he wants must make the information incorrect, so the universe itself will have to correct this error.
Logically, this information will be deleted or assimilated by the environment, which is the universe.
This will create a loss of information. So Dipper will have "destroyed" the information he desires since it will be corrupted by that of the environment or another person.
It's like when a file is corrupted in your computer due to a bad download or other reason.
It seemed like a simple task at first, but the basic Memory Gun uses a radiation wave to disassemble the neurological pathways containing memory.
Dipper had to strengthen this wave and improve its frequency.
They must not only be able to affect the neurological pathways through these waves and radiations, but also affect the energy that makes up the soul itself or the energetic form of a being.
It was hard, but Dipper already had theories thanks to the earth book that talks about the importance of the frequency carried by waves and energy, but also how everything affects each other.
He had a better understanding of the quantum scale than Vegapunk, who had vague ideas about the soul because of his studies on Haki, which is a manipulation of spiritual energy.
Thanks to this, Dipper was able to "destroy" "information" through the disruption caused by his Memory Gun V2.
He named it Memory Gun V2, but this object is technically a quantum disruptor capable of destroying any information or energetic entity.
It functions similarly to the Memory Gun in its use and is portable, so Dipper just kept the name and added a V2 in memory of an anime called Inazuma.
"It was hard, but I succeeded and it's also thanks to you, Mr. McGucket," he couldn't help but smile with satisfaction.
It was a project that took a lot of time despite McGucket's involvement and Vegapunk's genius, it was really harder than expected.
"It was fun, kid! Haha... I mean, boss."
It seems that McGucket also found the experience fun. On Earth, he wasn't a mad scientist, but currently, he loves challenging himself with crazy ideas.
[You forget me?? I helped you too!]

GIFfany appeared on a screen next to the workplace. Dipper was able to convince her to be his ally in exchange for some compromises that will surely create problems for him later.
But he now has a weapon powerful enough to keep her under control without her CD.
Anyway, it doesn't really bother Dipper to be with her. He can always be with a real girl on the condition of not neglecting GIFfany as expected with her.
She really has serious abandonment issues, Soos should have exploited that instead of destroying her.
"Yes, you helped a lot too."
Without knowing it, GiFfany helped create a weapon that could potentially destroy her or make her god-like.
Dipper just needs to succeed in merging the information that composes her and the reality, the only problem is to succeed in maintaining the information that composes GIFfany in good condition without it being assimilated or corrupted by the universe.
Only Dipper knows the fate that Giffany and Bill cipher will take with this weapon around .
....
Dipper's POV
"Hi Wendy!"
I come back to the Mystery Shack in the afternoon. I left GiFfany in the bunker despite her protests.
Unfortunately, I can't bring her with me to the Mystery Shack. Chika is already an anomaly that I introduced to Stan's place.
If I bring a second one, it could become problematic. I prefer not to exaggerate.
"Hi Dipper, you seem to be in great shape!"
She must be referring to my long "walks" in the forest that I'm currently doing regularly.
"I need to get back in shape properly. Have you finished your shift?"
I could see that she seemed to be getting ready to leave.
"Yes, I'm going to hang out with friends."
Usually, Wendy goes home alone or with Robbie, but this time she's going to hang out with her friends.
I think I remember a similar event in the show. Wendy and her friends will possibly offend ghosts if I let them go alone.
"Can I come?" I wanted to test the effectiveness of my quantum disruptor, or simply Memory Gun V2, on energetic beings like ghosts.
I was able to use it on the remnants of souls I obtained from the supernatural market, but a ghost is extremely different from a powerless soul.
Ghosts are among the creatures that Ford avoids offending, and it would be good if I could neutralize one to study it. I should be able to threaten them with the Memory Gun V2.
I could even possibly create an artificial devil fruit of the Mythical Zoan ghost type. It would be interesting if I could have such a useful object.
I also remember that ghosts have many interesting powers like telekinesis, possession, energy manipulation, or even magnetic field disruption.
The list is long.
"I don't know, you seem a bit too young."
After she said that, I just approached a a wooden bear of 3 or 2.50m nearby and carried it easily before putting it back down.
"Can a kid do that?? And I'm 13, so I'm technically a teenager too."
I lied. Dipper is only 12 years old and I was able to reach this strength thanks to morning physical training and the consumption of nutrients based on those from the One Piece world used by the Navy and modified by me.
Otherwise, reaching this strength without an exoskeleton at my age would be abnormal in this world, and my physique from the One Piece world helped a lot. I think lifting rocks at 12 isn't a dream soon.
"Wow, you really need to explain to me how you train!"
It seems I overdid it a bit, but at least she'll stop making jokes about my height and my former crappy endurance.
"So? Can I come?"
"Yes, of course. I'll just let my buddies know."
After that, I just hung out with Wendy. We didn't really have much in common, but I must admit it's pleasant to do silly things sometimes.
It's probably my body influencing me, but I don't really mind.
"Wendy!!!"
Wendy's friends finally arrived. I could easily recognize Robbie. I don't know if it's Dipper in me influencing me, but I can't stand that guy.
Author's note: My brain suffered a lot and I really REALLY had to do research on "information" at the quantum scale.
I discovered that no, it is theoretically almost impossible to suppress information at the quantum scale.
This explains why Stan was able to regain his memory after the Memory Gun hit and why Axolotl was able to reincarnate Bill Cipher.
It also explains how Rick 137 was able to discover paradise and try to steal the unlimited energy inside (yes, science is fascinating).
