JAMES'S POV

After having dinner with Keating family on thanksgiving I went home promising my self to work hard and get this thing done

" why didn't we know that you were Keating's daughter before " I ask Juliet who came to see me at the office we think it was a good idea to confirm that we are engaged

" my father had me before he got married I was living with my mom and he agreed to pay for my expenses in exchange for silence from my mother " she explained

" how is Leila taking all these by the way " she leans on my desk holding her cheek with her hand closing her arms above the desk

" she is trying to be understanding but I can see it's killing her especially not being there for her she is pregnant you know" I know Leila as the back of my hand she tries to put on a brave face when we are together but I know deep inside she is struggling with all these

" I know Alice isn't having sex with me until all these are over " she looks sad I can feel her pain at least my girl is trying for me

" am going to go I have a lot to explain to my mom " she stands up " remember we are going together to that ceremony on Saturday " i reminds her our company have been doing a fundraising event for people with cancer for years it's happening this Saturday I want to keep doing everything the company did to prove to the board that am the great person for the CEO

" I know don't worry won't escort your fiancé ?" She ask me raising her eyebrows at me I get up go with her when she left in her car I went back to my office I get a text from Simon saying that we are all going out with David Dave and Denis they are brothers and my cousins we were great friends together until when their mother died of cancer when we were in junior it's was hard for them so they went to England for a fresh start the following year that's when the company started this campaign their mother was my father's sister and we were doing it in her honor

After work Simon suggested we hit a club since it feels like forever since he went we got to the club in the VIP room

" I heard someone is getting married " Denis started laughing at the same time when we were teenagers I always hated marriage thinking that I will never get married but that ended when I met Leila thinking of here I realize that I miss her it's been days since I saw her

" by the way what's the deal with these men trying to replace you" David asked he is the older one and the serious among them

" it's Uncle Phil he was stilling from the company Dad when we found it Dad was too easy on him but the snake took things on another lever making the company lose a big deal of the Japanese " I explain

" and you are planning on exposing them the dirty business that they are doing " David asked again to which I nod my head

" when is this happening exactly I can't wait to see his face I never liked Uncle Phil" Denis said

" we are waiting for them to take action I already informed my men in the police " I explain I can't wait for it to be over we look over to the big glass wall we can see the whole club from here but the people at the club can't see us it's a Vip of course and Dave is already there with a woman talking

" that's my boy no wasting time" Simon laugh making Denis stand up " let me find a lady to hold me tonight talk business later guys" and he left also we just laugh

After a few a hours I was drinking scotch I was getting drunk so I went down to relax a little I sit at the bar a women come to me touch my chest " hey handsome " she flirts with me she can't compare to my Leila she has big boobs I can see they are about to bust through her dress I hate this things am not into big boobs at all

" not interested " i drink my scotch at once feel it burning my throat I ask the bartender another take my phone I call Leila it rings three times before she picks up

" hello" she sounds sleepy but am missing her so much and alcohol is not helping at all

" baby "'i say through the phone there were music everywhere I take my scotch and went outside for a fresh air

"James where are you "

" I love you baby you know that right?" I ask her

" are you drunk " I can hear through her voice that she is angry

" no I just had a few drinks nothing I can't manage I miss you I wish you were here every time I go home at the apartment I wish I would find you home cooking diner for me " I don't know why am saying all these but am sure it has something to do with the alcohol " I want to go to the doctor's appointment with you but I can't risk it they don't think that am ignoring them right? Please tell my babies that all am doing it's for them they won't hate me right " I ask her

" James of course not you will be a great father to them they will be lucky and they will love you unconditionally just like I do" I smile

" I wanted to be there through everything but I can't am sorry baby I will make it up to you once all these are over " I say

" it's okay James I know you are doing all you can just please be careful and don't drive like that okay who are you with "

" David Denis Dave and Simon but i don't where everyone is I think am going to go home "'I say finishing my scotch I place the glass there on the bench which was there

" will you be okay " she ask worried

" of course bye sorry I woke you up " I hung up and called my driver to pick me up I send him my location
