Chapter 112 Orange

Meanwhile, Chrys and his group has arrived at the Sun capital, and are now traversing it's streets.

Then, Hela turned to see a stall to the side. Chrys, who is by her side, asked after noticing. "What is it?"

To which Hela replied. "Oranges."

"Oranges? Do you want some?"

"Yes."

"Then, go buy it. I already gave you enough coins."

Like Chrys said, Hela went over to the stand.

And while Hela was ordering, V looked to the side as he began walking away.

"Where are you going?" Chrys asked.

"Somewhere not here. I'm going back to bed. You going to stop me?"

"Nah. I'm going to continue gathering information on my own. Tell the rest."

"Like hell I will!"

Chrys merely waved at V as he began heading for the stand selling oranges, where Hela is currently at.

"Hello, miss, can I also get one?" Chrys said with a smile.

"Sure thing sir. I also have different fruits if your also interested."

"I'll take a majority of oranges, but add in some other fruits aswell."

"Very well, sir. What kind off fruits do you like?"

"The one you choose, thank you." Chrys replied with a charming smile.

The fruit vendor was a bit taken aback by Chrys' reply, but she decided to just ignore it and fill up his basket.

"Here you go, sir. Hope you have a good day." The vendor said with an awkward smile.

"Oh, that was quick, thank you. But... sorry to inconvenience you but can you give me another one?"

A bit confused, the vendor replied. "Sure thing. Another basketful?"

"Yes, please." Said Chrys as he took a stool from the side and placed it before the stand before sitting on it.

The female vendor froze up in place, realizing something, before she continued on what she was doing, placing fruits in a basket, very slowly, and with a smile on her face.

As if reacting to her actions, Chrys also smiled as he continued to watch the girl's actions.

By this time, Hela has already returned to V's side and was now in the process of trying to figure out how to open an orange.

V meanwhile, was watching over the interaction between Chrys and the female vendor. Soon, a smile formed on his face. The smile of a devilish trickster.

But, he was suddenly interrupted when Hela crushed the orange in her hands, which then sent a lot of it's juices free. With most landing on V's face.

Looking very annoyed, V wiped the orange juice off of his face, grabbed an orange from Hela's basket, before opening it up for her.

After giving it to the easily-pleased Hela, V walked a way with a plan along with a mischievous smile.

Soon after he left, Hela followed, leaving Chrys behind to continue talking to the increasingly flustered female vendor.

After a while of walking, V has finally made his way back. With Hela in tow.

When he opened the door, he was greeted by Lilly, Set and most importantly, Morgan, who arrived a bit earlier than him.

And now, with the pieces in place, with a confident smile, V began enacting his plan.

But not before Hela tapped him in the shoulder while holding an orange.

As a vein popped in his head, V shouted. "Give it to me! Here! You press, add pressure, and then pull! Now, go away!"

After giving a very brief and very harsh instruction on how to open an orange to Hela, who joyishly went inside while eating it, V has now gathered the attention of everyone in the room.

"Why are you yelling at Hela?!" Lilly shouted.

"I don't have to answer to you, little bitch!"

"Don't make me enact revenge, Bush head!"

As Lilly, who looks rather tired, and V stared down each other, Morgan then chimed in, asking. "Is he not with you?"

Then, as if snapping back into reality, V turned to her. To only see Morgan, just standing there with her arms crossed.

With a slight smile on his face, V replied. "Yeah, we left him while he chats with the local girls."

Morgan's ears perked up a bit upon hearing V's words. She extended her hand to the side, only to grab air.

"Ah!" After realizing the thing that she wants wasn't there, Morgan returned her hand into a neutral state.

But, in the time it took her to do this, V has approach her, and began coiling around her like the snake he is.

He then whispered with devilish intent. "Last I saw him, he was talking to atleast three girls, beautiful ones at that."

Realizing what he was doing, Lilly went over saying. "V! Stop what you're doing to-"

But she was quickly stopped and shut up by V, who grabbed her by the face while saying. "Hussh... I'm doing something."

Then, he continued to tempt Morgan while still moving like a snake around her, whispering into her ears.

"Are you just going to let him do what he wants, Morgan-sss?"

"Are you willing to just stand by while he grabs himself a harem-sss?"

"Think, Morgan. Think. He isn't the one in charge of your relationship. YOU are."

"Now, why don't you go out there and show him who's boss-sss?"

Then, Morgan, who was very quite up till now, turned to face the snake known simply as V, as she said with a defiant look. "I refuse." Before punching V, straight in the face, forcing him onto the ground.

With smoke still eminating from her fist, Morgan said with an angry-looking face. "Do you really think it's that easy to influence me, you little shit?!"

Then, Morgan left the building after causing a storm inside.

Lilly then breathed a sigh of relief as she said to herself. "I don't like it when Sister Morgan's angry."

Meanwhile, still on the floor, V posed in a fabulous fashion as he performed a chef's kiss. "Mwuah!"

Before he continued. "Who knew revenge tasted like oranges."

As V laid there, so full of himself, Set, who was watching the entire time, just kinda sat there, leaning against a wall.

After removing his gaze away from V, Lilly, and the eating Hela and Loki, Set set his eyes on Morgan's bow, which was just left leaning against a wall.

Then, outside, Morgan ran walked through the streets like she owned the place. Not a soul dared meet her path.

Then after a while, a few meters away from him, Chrys was surrounded by girls, all cheefully talking to him.

"Wow, really?"

"Yes, the outside is quite a mess, to put it simply."

"Wow. That's wild. Over here in the capital, you wouldn't even reach a percentage of that risk and danger."

"Oh, is that so? There wasn't anything that dangerous that happened here?"

"Yes. The Sun region didn't really have that many dangerous incidents that happened in the past years. The last one I can recall was when Golden Hands and his companions set fire to the city years back."

"Haha! That was a bit of a mess back then, wasn't it?"

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure I saw someone in just a towel running out due to the panic. Haha!"

As Chrys was laughing with the girls, Morgan walked just a bit closer. Allowing Chrys and the girls to feel the aura she tried to keep in.

With a smile on his face, Chrys said to the girls. "I think it's in everyone's best interest for you girls to leave."

Nodding at each other, the girls said as they began walking awkwardly away.

"Yeah, I think my mother is calling for me."

"Oh, look at the time. Sorry, but I have to leave now."

"I think I forgot to extinguish the fire in the kitchen!"

As all the girls around him has left, Chrys, still sitted on the stool, turned to face Morgan. Only to find out Morgan was already within arms reach.

Looking down to the ground, Morgan poked Chrys in the shoulder, which was blocked by his shield, before saying. "Let's head back now, Chrys."

With a teasing smile, Chrys asked. "Are you jealous, Morgan? Worried that I might cheat on you?"

Morgan, in response, said nothing, only looking at the ground while still trying to poke Chrys in the shoulder.

With a smile on his face, Chrys said. "We've been over this, Morgan. Even if you placed the most beautiful things around us..."

"I will only see you."

Morgan did not reply or move from her place.

"But..."

Chrys then placed a hand behind his neck as he said. "But I can't help but feel a bit happy, you know?"

"You caring about me enough to the point you let your emotion show, and tell me your jealous." Chrys said with a smile.

Morgan still did not move.

"I'm truly happy to have you by my side, Morgan."

Then, Morgan's hand and entire body began shaking as she continued to look at the ground.

With a gentle on his face, Chrys said. "Don't feel bad about yourself, Morgan. It's okay to let your emotions free once in a while."

Chrys then grabbed the fruit basket he bought earlier, brought to Morgan's downward view as he said. "Here, cheer up. I brought your favorite. Oranges. There's some other fruits mixed in there, but I still hope you like it."

Morgan did not react or say a word, just staring into the ground.

Then, she moved.

She moved away from Chrys.

Not just that. She ran away from him full force.

Leaving Chrys to just sit there, with his gift for Morgan still in his hands.

Instead of trying to chase after her, or call out. Chrys just sat there, smiling brightly and gently.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Lilly and Hela, with Loki on the ground, talked about Hela's day.

"Yeah. And then there was this man who tried pulling me away. I wanted to snap him, but I held back."

With a proud yet tired smile on her face, Lilly said. "Good job, Hela. If they haven't done anything to you, you shouldn't try to break their arm."

With a smile on her face, Hela continued. "Yeah, and then there was this lady. She was nice to me. She let me join in on a shop to drink some stinky tea, just because I helped her with her bracelet.

"She was a lady with greeny eyes and flat black hair like Morgana. Do you know her, Lilly? Her name is Jade."

Lilly shook her head, saying. "I'm sorry, Hela. But I don't know everyone. And also, it's just Morgan, not Morgana, got it?"

"Yes!" Hela entusiastically replied, looking very happy about telling her story.

As Hela continued on talking, Lilly, with her tired looking eyes, noticed Celine up the stairs.

"Sister Celine. Do you want to join us?" She asked.

"Che!" Celine just released an annoyed click before heading up the stairs as she said in a low tone. "Don't call me sister, you brat."

Lilly watched as Celine just disappeared into the second floor. She then returned her attention to the oblivious Hela, who was still talking.

And after a while, Lilly just let out a tired sigh.

And in another part of town, specifically the top of a cliff overlooking the city, Hanabi was just swiping the leaves off of the pathway leading up to her house.

Then, she noticed a person approaching.

"Back already?" She asked.

Then, the out of breath Morgan before her, asked. "I'm sorry to bother you again, Hanabi. But, can I stay here for a while?"
