Apocalypse V- Heaven

I reach the peak of Mount Sumeru in a few hours. The doors of heaven are beautiful no matter how many times I see it. They are two golden doors with sculptings of of all the events in Hindu mythology. I step forward and the gate opens and in front of me is Indra himself draped in white. He is surrounded by a brilliant white aura. He says, "Welcome back to heaven, Karthik. Or should I say, Charleston?"

I ask in a bewildered fashion, "How do you know my name?"

Indra just chuckles to himself and says, "Get in. I know why you are here. I also know what you will do after you get my answer."

He walks in to his court and sits on his lavish white throne. He conjures a seat right behind me and says, "Take a seat. Then ask"

I sit down on the chair which is highly comfortable. I ask Indra, "How do you know my real name?"

Indra chuckles again and says, "I am a God. I have been one for millennia. I not some young, wet behind the years novice. I can easily monitor anyone's actions. I can see what anyone does. I would be omnipotent if I could see it myself but I can't. I just have to look down at the person I want to monitor from the Heavens. I can hear everything you speak. Also, I know that to you, I am just someone in a game. That I probably don't matter to you, at all, since you can just reincarnate at some location you choose. So I will ask you thus, why have you come?"

I am stunned but I answer, "I want to know everything about that beam of light that came down on us."

Indra smiles and says, "That's where you are wrong. The light came from below. It was the Asuras who sent it."

"So you know what it is?" I ask in curiosity. He answers, "Of course I do. It was meant to bring all you 'players' into this world. Quite obvious at that."

"And you did NOTHING to stop it?" I ask in a somewhat angry manner. The temperature in the room drops as Indra says, "MANNERS! I shall not have you disrespect me!! Anyway I knew not of it until it happened. I know how you must be feeling, being locked away from your family." That's impossible!!! How does an all powerful God know what it means to be away from family. He sees my skeptical look and says, "There were demons who got boons from Shiva or Brahma and used it for evil. They also happened to come to heaven and oust me from here as their boons made than almost invincible. Such as Hiranyakashyapu wcould not be killed by any animal or human, who could not be killed at night or morning. This made things very difficult. He was invincible with this boon he got from Brahma. It took Vishnu in a half man half lion form at twilight to kill him. There were many others who came with special conditions needing to be met to be killed and so I know how it feels to be helpless. One time, a demon with a dead mother asked for a boon that only his mother could kill him. He then invaded heaven. There was once again nothing I could do. He captured my brothers, insulted my mother's belongings. I could do nothing about it because if that condition. I know what it is to be away from family. So everyday, I work harder to make sure that if someone without such conditions needing to be met, attacks, he will be crushed. You ask me why I did nothing about the demons bringing you here permanently, it's because that is in, the long run helpful to my family, to my people. There are some who earth the respect of gods but otherwise the feeling is more often than not, "Pray to me, I'll help you" You are someone who had my respect, so the doors of heaven shall always stay open to you but I'll make one thing clear, if I had to make a difficult choice to save my people, I would do it without a moment's hesitation, even if it meant sacrifing your people. 1 week before, I would not have said that but as of now, seeing your people murder and massacre innocent people, kill women and children just because they are away from their family, just because they are suffering, it pisses me off. You would understand if you were in my position. As it stands now, I would kill your people without hesitation it it meant saving mine. I know that you will turn your back to the Gods after knowing this, but you nevertheless have my blessing. I want to see you grow into a sage and even one day, perhaps reach my level. But I know that you probably won't happen, but we can always hope. I look forward to meeting you after you grow stronger. Now off you go. You have a Mahabharata to end." He then snaps his fingers as I am out of heaven. A window pops next to me

"You're affinity with lightning had increased to 1000. You have now achieved your first elemental advancement. You can become one with your element with 20% extra attack Power. You have achieved the level of affinity required for a Maharathi. You shall automatically rise to the rank of Maharathi when you reach level 375. Curses or blessings from Lightning Gods can no longer affect you." I am surprised but Indra's perspective makes sense. Players worldwide must have massacre NPCs in anger. He also said that humans were just puppets to the Gods. Even that makes sense. I can no longer stay a puppet. I have always been a leader. Not a follower. I look at the sun rising in a beautiful orange background.

[There are three elemental advancements. The first one at elemental affinity 1000, there next when affinity reached 5000 and the last one when affinity reached 25000. ]

Meanwhile: Indra's Flash Back, Indra's POV:

I say, "We cannot sacrifice someone else for our sake. If we let these players run amok, people who have been here from the beginning shall die!"

A blueish man with four arms, one arm having a lotus, one with a Ghadha[A type of spherical war hammer], one containing the Sudarshan Chakra[The strongest weapon in Hindu Mythology] and a Shanka[A sea shell used as a horn to symbolize beginning of war]. That is Vishnu. He says, "Perhaps they are now. But Indra you must understand that humans can deal with this themselves. We don't intervene unless it is completely necessary and there are men who is trying to do something about this. One of them is the archer leading the Pandavas camp this year. Aditya is his name. He stopped the riots in the Pandavas camp. The other is your lightning trainee. He is coming to you. I want you tell him that you would sacrifice him and his people in an instant if it came down to it. Make him respect you more. Try to ignite a third front."

"Why a third front? Won't that make the condition worse?" Ask I.

"You'll understand why I am asking this when you see the results."
