A mage?!

They were currently waiting in the seat up the stadium and will go down.

Hael watched the battles and noticed the rank you will get according to your performance. If you didn't get the handkerchief, you fail obviously. If you even managed to touch it you get Rank G, which made the student who failed bitter. If they just grazed it once they will pass the exam, but they didn't even touch the examiner what about the handkerchief.

If they pass they will go to the judges beside the exit. They will give you a report which is a factor on what class you will be attending.

They will allow you to pick a weapon in the stash before engaging in a fight.

He scanned the examiner as well. His BP is 4700 and the skill of Fire Magic. He is a student in Romozz who volunteered to be an examiner. Hael could 100% take him on if he lowers his capabilities to his level.

While battles are occuring in the stadium, Hael saw a boy with white hair and blue eyes walk past the line and straight to the exit. and can't help but be amazed. His BP is 5700 which is way higher than the examiner. The other's were also shocked due to the color of his handkerchief.

He waited for a while until it's finally his turn. Hael walked to the stage and picked a rapier.

The examiner noticed his handkerchief's color and can't help but frown. He is the only one who has green in his batch. Green is the weakest color in their opinion because whites are just civilians.

The crowd as well has the same reaction looking at him while frowning.

Hael noticed the examiner's face and can't help but sigh. The examiner though saw his reaction and felt like he was testing someone crazy.

Hael waited for the indication when the battle starts.

"3...2.....1.....Start!"

The examiner immediately casted a small fireball and casted it at Hael quickly. " Next examiner please" It will be enough to kill him.

Or so he thought.

Hael dodged left quickly and casted a dart at him. which is blocked by the examiner

"An agility type huh "

The fire mage now casted 3 fireballs one directly aimed at Hael and two at his left and right closing his escape route. Hael just jumped and dodged the cast completely.

Hael was running close to the examiner everytime he dodged the fire balls. The examiner was growing tired and didn't underestimate him anymore. He then launched a barrage if fire balls which Hael also dodged.

Hael can't help but tease the examiner. " Can you stop playing with fire?"

The examiner twitched his eyebrows and formed a fire wall to stop Hael from advancing. He then casted two more fireballs aiming directly at Hael's back. The examiner didn't stop and casted 3 Flame tornadoes rushing towards Hael.

Hael then casted darts to opposed the force of the fire balls. Hael turned left and ran past the wall. The examiner didn't see what happened with his fire balls due to the wall thinking he probably blocked it with his rapier.

Hael wanted to test something out first before engaging in close combat. The reason Hael didn't pick a wand is because he wanted to suprise the enemy, he also doesn't like a wand. He likes casting with his hand. Wands only increase your damage output, so Hael will just buy a ring or something.

Mages are extremely weak in physical combat due to the fact that they focus only in magic. Hael wanted to exploit that and destroy his opponent that way.

Hael smirked and thought ' It's time'

At that moment, a Flame tornado direcly hit Hael and formed dust surrounding him. The examiner smiled and walked to the dust.

As the examiner was walking closer to the dust pile, Hael jumped out of the dust and tried to stab the examiner which ended in failure due to the examiner casting a barrier of fire which caused Hael to be pushed back and made another dust cover due to the impact of his fall.

This was why the difficulty of even touching the handkerchief hard.

The examiner can still see his silhoutte though, lying on the floor struggling to stand up.

"I won't lie you are extremely good for F. I actually used the strength of an E full power to stop you. " The examiner sneered at Hael. " I nearly used up all my mana "

The examiner walked over to the dust pile. As he was about to grab his head, The examiner said in a cocky tone " Nothing personal KID " He emphasized the word kid.

It was definetely personal. Hael would pass regardless but this examiner didn't really want to taint his reputation by losing to a F.

He grabbed Hael's head which suddenly dispersed startling him " What?" . That was non other than Hael's clone. Hael casted bind at the examiner which startled him more. "A Mage?!"

Hael casted a light orb blinding the examiner. Hael leaped at the examiner, grabbing his head then slamming it to the ground. " Nothing Personal Kid" Hael grabbed his handkerchief and swayed it infront of the nearly unconcious examiner.

~Back in time~

The moment the tornado was about hit Hael, He directed it to the ground using his blade which got destroyed in the process. While fighting the examiner, he can't help but notice, the examiner likes flashy things. His magic all explodes with contact, in exception to the fire wall. This made Hael form a plan in his head.

When the dust formed, Hael back step and hid behind the firewall. He then summoned a clone at the dust and ordered it to attack the examiner. The thing he wanted to test is if that fire barrier really exist which does. The moment the clone dispersed, Hael summoned another clone in the dust pile and ordered it to lie down.

The moment the examiner got confused due to the dispersing clone, he casted magic which dealt more confusion. He really can't do this before due to the fire barrier, but due to his lack of mana he can casually do his combo.

The moment of debuffs gave Hael the chance to deal the winning blow.

~Which moves us to the present~

"Rank is just a numb....a color." Hael only showed his back to the fallen examiner which eventually fell unconcious.

Cool guys don't look at explosions. Well this time the creator of explosions
