The hearing and other senses of Gene were quite sharp which allowed her to pick up on and focus on what was nearby.
She could hear the rustling of grass and snapping of branches as light and fast footsteps came from far away.
The noises that she heard were closing in on her from every direction until there was no longer any room to get away.
Many wolves started to appear all around Gene and they kept a wide area circled all around her.
They maintained their distance while growling in a threatening manner towards Gene who was standing still and looking curiously towards them.
They started to circle her and moved in slowly while far away, a figure watched from up high.
A wolf stood on the top of the mountain overlooking everything then raised its head.
It let out a loud howl towards the sky. "Awooo!"
The howl echoed all around the area and caused the surrounding animals to freeze up instinctively.
The wolf then leaped down and moved at a high speed that was difficult to follow then it appeared in front of Gene.
It looked at the other wolves which caused them to flinch and run away.
It turned its golden eyes towards Gene and opened its mouth. "You must be Gene. I watch over this mountain and I am the first familiar of Dr Blush. You can call me Pandora and I will assist you in getting off the mountain."
The wolf suddenly began to change its form until it morphed into the appearance of a werewolf. "I am a reverse werewolf, a wolf that can take on this form."
Pandora was the first animal familiar with Dr Blush and had accompanied her on many journeys until she settled on Earth to defend the laboratory.
She had a powerful set of abilities from the genetic serum Dr Blush had given her and the Cursed Blood Ruby magical collar around her neck.
Her DNA had been altered with the serum to grant her several werewolf traits while further enhancing her combat potential. The magic-based familiar contract made her loyal to Dr Blush forever.
The wolf transformed back and positioned herself to allow Gene to climb up. "Let's go!"
